{closed for Avikii} Leafa had been enjoying the snowfall. Before she'd joined the pack, she'd always play and jump around in it. That's exactly what she was going to do now. Leafa glanced around cautiously before exiting the den site. She picked her way down the slippery slope and soon made it onto the flat ground. The snow was incredible. Leafa perked her ears and started to run. She kicked up snow as she bounded through the large snow-drifts here and there. At times, it got deep and she'd sink to around her lower shoulders, but she'd climb out and shake off the snow before she hopped around, chasing the snowflakes she'd kick up from the ground. She rolled over, snow sticking to her golden pelt. Attachments:

Avikii had seen Leafa, his new mate, leave the den site. Of course, the alpha was curious, and waited a few moments before following her a few paw steps behind.
"Enjoying the snow?" He called out, a slight grin crossing his muzzle.

Leafa looked up, nearly jumping out of her fur. When she noticed it was Avikii, she relaxed, shaking off the fur. Leafa padded over to him.
"Yeah! I've always had a love for the snow," Leafa stated. She then flicked some snow at his snout and giggled.

Avikii eyed her, then to the snow that clung to her pelt. "I've never exactly liked it." He complained openly, lifting a fore paw and watching as whatever snow was stuck it it, fall to the ground.

Leafa blinked in surprise. How could someone not like snow. She shrugged and danced around him, when she reached his other side, she pressed against him before burying her snout in the snow. When she brought her head back up, her muzzle was covered in snow.
"The only thing I remember about my mother was snow. I remember that she'd always bury her head under the snow, and when she brought it back out, she'd nuzzle me and get snow all over my face. I guess that's why I like it so much," Leafa murmured. She sat up and watched the snow piling over her paws as she moved them.

Leafa looked at Avikii and smiled.
"What do you want to do?" she asked. Originally, her plan was to play in the snow for a bit until the first patrols went out, but Avikii didn't like snow all that much, and she wasn't going to just up and leave him for her own little games or force him into it.

Avikii glanced around, the white barren land making his eyes feel funny. "Oh, I'm not sure." He stated, but found himself inching closer to the sandy colored she-wolf. "But, I might just have an idea..." He said, now looking at her, a grin spreading across his muzzle.
In a second he lifted a fore paw, and pushed Leafa into the snow drift behind her.

Leafa watched him as he scanned the horizon. She then felt his paw push her backwards and she fell, cushioned by the snow. The snow drizzled onto her stomach as she sunk into the snow. Leafa let out a laugh as she kicked at the snow, sending it flying towards Avikii.

Avikii held back a laugh as she sunk backwards, but that was abruptly cut off as she felt snow hit his muzzle and chest. "Hey!" He barked, yet a smirk was forming at the corners of his mouth.

Leafa rolled out of the snow and stood up, her golden fur now covered with white flakes. She crouched down in front of Avikii playfully and wagged her tail side to side.

Leafa straightened in surprise and blinked before she let out a laugh. She grabbed onto Avikii and pressed her head into his fur, causing the snow to cling to his fur as well. Then she started to bound away, hopping through the mounds of snow. She was hopping he'd give chase.

Avikii chuckled, yet was washed over with a sudden shock of cold as Leafa pressed her snow-covered fur into his own. He watched as she bounded away while laughing. He grinned and quickly gave chase. Little did she know, he still reigned title to the fastest wolf in Slough Creek.

Leafa had always been quite fast in the snow. As she ran, she flung snow up behind her like a white curtain of dust. She glanced back and saw Avikii gaining on her. She grinned and put on a burst of speed.

Avikii spit as snow landed on his face again, he shook out his pelt and almost tripped over himself. Shaking while running, not a good idea, he thought, and watched as Leafa almost made her getaway. "Oh no you don't!" He barked, and with a final push, lunged forward, and came barreling into her.

Leafa felt Avikii's weight on her haunches and she tumbled into the snow. The white coverage splashed up and showered them like cold stars. Leafa was breathing heavily and she let out a laugh.
