Scarlet had been walking along the western creek, peacefully enjoying the sound of running water. She lifted her head to scent her surroundings as a tasty smell took her attention. She gazed across the creek to see a small hare grazing at the grass, minding it's own business. Hmmm. I haven't had hare in a while... I guess Scul won't mind. Scarlet jumped into the creek and swam a little ways downstream so the rabbit wouldn't see her. She shook her pelt out on the other side and dropped to her paws.
The gray wolf crept forward silently, her eyes locked on the prey. As she realized that the wind was going away from her and to the hare, fear rised in her. But as she looked at the small creature, it hadn't stirred an inch. Lucky...? Scarlet took the chance when she was a fox-length away and killed the hare. She took her time feasting on it's carcass, some hunger still biting at her stomach.

Scarlet trudged along the western creek again the next day, but this time when the sun was setting. She took a glance at the sun, it's shining rays casting a beautiful glow on the territories. Her head and muscles had been aching, and that morning when she woke it was hard to breathe. Scarlet suddenly felt foam at the edges of her mind and her legs grew bone-tired. She attempted to turn back to the Butte, but collapsed just inside the Canyon Pack Territory. Fear rised in her throat as she let out an ear splitting couple of howls before darkness edged at her vision as she passed out, still having trouble breathing.

It was late after noon, Avikii had left the den site to head out for a solo patrol. He planned on marking their eastern border, along the western creek. The rays of the days dying light danced across the aspen forest of his territory, soon finding its way through the tall dead grasses that stuck up through the melting clumps of snow that still stood scattered in the shaded parts of the land. A sudden howl snipped its way through the days growing silence, which made Avikii's fur stand on end. However, he didn't stop, assuming it was just a loner, but it did sound close...
As Avikii grew closer to the creek, a familiar scent of loner crossed over his nose as he came to a halt at the waters edges. With a confused expression, the alpha looked up and down the bank of the creek until finally spotted a lump of grey fur resting at the waters edge. Scarlet? She must have been the source of that howl... The alpha broke into a sprint, slipping along the pebbles that lined the creek side until eventually coming to a stop, looming over the passed out female.

Scarlet's body heaved in massive efforts to pull air in. Foam lined the edges of her mouth, growing every second. "H-help..." The loner managed to bark in sleep.

Avikii flinched as the sight as she rolled over, watching as a bubbly white foam dribbled from the corners of her mouth. "We need to get you some care... herbs... I need to get you to Elpis..." He finally said, half to himself, he knew she was out cold and would most likely not hear a word he said. However, the alpha didn't know how he was going to get her to camp. She was much too large for him to carry her by the scruff, obviously, perhaps he could somehow manage to get her over his shoulders?

Scarlet's knocked out body let out an ear-splitting howl as pain shocked her stomach. The howl was long, probably alerting another wolf on the territory besides Avikii.

Avikii leaned over, nudging her flank with his nose, he had to figure out a way to get her back to the den site without having to drag her, along with finding an easier way to get her up the steep hills. He paused, lifting his head to look over his shoulder. If only a patrol would come by, then at least he could get some help.

Soba walked through the territory with his friend Kuno, now that Koga was an elder, who happened to be Kuno's only living family, Soba had stepped up as a guardian for the younger male. They patrolled often and it was nice to be getting to know the sandy colored wolf. They eventually paused, a howl pierced the air. Soba turned to Kuno, "did you hear that?"
Kuno nodded, "we should check it out, it sounded close."
Soba nodded his agreement and moved on, they came upon the border where the creek was. There he saw Avikii nudging a motionless body. Soba picked up the pace, coming up to Avikii's side. "what happened?" he asked.

Avikii looked up as a voice sounded from behind. "Soba! Kuno! Thank the sky-wolves for your arrival, I need some help." He cast a blue gaze down toward the limp Scarlet. "I'm not sure what's wrong with her, but we need to get her to Elpis." He instructed, "think you can help me carry her?" He asked, yet didn't wait for an answer as he turned back toward the loner and brushed his muzzle against her flank, trying to figure out how they would get her to move.
"Scarlet... Scarlet, can you hear me? You need to get up." If the she-wolf could get up and walk partially it would make it easier to move her.

Avikii pinned his ears. "No, it's Avikii, the alpha you met a few times prior to now. I need you to get up, me, Soba and Kuno are going to help you to our den site and get you to our healer." He informed in the most clear way possible, obviously she wasn't fully awake.

Shade had been all the day wandering by the river, she wanted to make sure that no Bison wolf where wandering by there, she started
to remember that she had with Takoni a quarrel, a long ago, he had beaten her, the anger started to grow throught her fur Stupid furball, i will beat you
the next time!. Shade's tought where interupted by the cry of a wolf and familiar voices, her ears started to twitch, she then recognized de voice
of her Alpha, Soba, Kuno and a unknown one,
Shade, run swiftly where the voices came from, as she arrived, Shade glanced at the she-wolf in the ground, she didn't know was
but anyways she asked to Kuno ''What's happening? and who is this wolf?'' she signaled with her tail, the she-wolf.

Great, he had her up on her paws. "Now, just lean against me or Soba, we'll get you to our den site." Avikii comforted in the best way he could, taking a slow paw step forward, keeping pace with Scarlet.
They made their way from the border, through the flat land of their territory then eventually up into the steep hills.

Avikii lead her toward the den site ever so slowly, making sure to keep her on her paws.
After a good while of slow walking and carefully trudging up the slopes of their territory, the small patrol made their way into the little clearing they called their den site. He let Scarlet fall lightly down onto the dusty ground and looked up. "Where's Elpis?" He barked, grabbing the attention of stray pack mates.
