Avikii emerged from his den with a yawn, it was evening and the sun was just setting behind the rolling hills, illuminating Avikii's black and tanfur. The alpha glanced around the camp, he made sure certain wolves were here. In a quick leap and bound he was on top of the rock that created his den, Avikii lifted his muzzle and let out a quick howl, "All wolves gather! Today is a day of acceleration within the pack!" The strong male watched as his pack rustled around and began to pad their way towards the den. 302 looked up from his rabbit snack as he heard Avikii's howl, the casanova jumped up in a swift shadowy movement and began to pad towards the rocky den.  |

Soba excitedly jumped up and padded towards his alpha, wow! I wish I could howl like that. The older pup sat down a little ways away from Kane and Koga.
Relic silently followed behind Koga and her brother, when they stopped he sat down at her other side.

Lightning walked over towards the alpha, hearing his deep howl forced upwards into the sky. It was a chilling sound, but there was peace in his tone that left the pack at ease. The night soon began to sparkle as stars high above poked their way past the sun's glistening colors as it fell from the sky until tomorrow morn. His eyes fell from the sky, a calm over his face as he turned his attention towards his leader, interested in what announcement he had kept from the public of the pack.

Avikii looked between each of the gathering members of his pack, some were missing that he had wished were here, but he can't control his wolves. The alpha sat down upon the rocks and waited to see if any other pack members would gather.
302 caught up to the other wolves, he sat down farther away from the rest of the gathered wolves, but just far enough away to keep Avikii in sight.

Arrow glared out from the safety of her so called, 'Prisoner's Den.' She didn't mind it for the most part if she were to be honest. She was releived of all her duties as a pack wolf, such as hunting and training or sparing and such. However she was quite underfed since everyone else in the pack came to hold priority over her, but that wasn't too surprising. She set her head on her paws and watched Avikkii. Not to mention Lightning was on her tail for the slightest thing he could get her at. Her tail, hind, flank and ears stung with each movement. She had Lightning to thank for that, some were small dominant bites or his way to ensure she was in her place. Her nose was still in bad shape from her encounter with him out in the feild that one night, or was it morning? She couldn't recall much except for that she must have blacked out because when she awoke she was here. She sighed and watched Avikki and how the wolves crowded around him so obediently. Something stung her in the gut or in the chest, all the same it was painful. However it was only as painful as an emotion could get. Was it admiration? Was it jealousy? Was it something more then this? A hate? Perhaps, perhaps not. That was something she could not determine.
Lightning glanced back at Arrow but the minute he realised it, he would turn away. He realised he had been doing it often but he couldn't explain why. Something about her unnerved him, and ever instinct told him to kill her. However he couldn't, that would be against Avikii's orders. So in order to try and hold her tame, if his instincts were true, to tame a dangerous threat he continued to give her bites. She was an outsider, she wasn't meant to feel comfortable here... He sighed and wondered if perhaps he were going a bit too far with it. His fur prickled slightly, and he forced it to settle... There was just something, something about her... He looked at Avikii and awaited the message.

Koga heard light pawsteps and turned her head slightly, she saw the unwelcome prisoner wolf and scowled slightly. what if this wolf decided to attack the younger wolves?. she turned again, back towards avikii.

Amare made her way over to Avikii. The sleek brown wolf sat down, the sun catching off her fur. Slight golden undertones glistened gently. Her eyes glinted with pride. She looked up at Aviiki and stared at him with those eyes of hers.

Avikii noticed Amare joined the crowd, it's been awhile between the two, perhaps they should catch up sometime. The well muscled alpha glanced between the wolves of Canyon pack, "I'm glad to see most of the pack gathered..." He announced, "I'm sure you may expect why I called everyone here today, I've been keeping an eye on each and everyone of you, many of you will rank up now." Avikii watched as a few of the subordinates and omegas perked up.
302 looked up from his farther seat from the alpha, did he say he would be ranking wolves up? The casanova's interest was increased, he decided to pad over and get a little closer so he could hear better.

OOC- SAME RIGHT? AmareLightning glanced at Amare nearing, the pack was gathering closer now, something felt oddly kind of, comfortable? Surrounded by a bunch of others, other wolves, it was somewhat secure feeling? He couldn't exactly put his paw on it, but he laid down, relaxing a bit. Edit: Lightning quickly sat back up however at his alpha's words. Wait? Ranking up? Today? This is what it was about? His worries slowly started to creep back a bit but he didn't show a single bit of it. |

Lightning glanced up, pulled from his thoughts. He stood up and walked towards his alpha with a silence. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to say anything at all but kept his mouth shut just in case, not to mention the fact he was slightly speechless that he actually got called?
(OOC- Plot twist Lightning is all hearty eyes like oml yes im being ranked up, finally, dream come true and then Avikii is like youre worthless go sit down you pointless bag of rat tails.)
Arrow watched, scoffing, however she couldn't be heard as she was at such a far distance from all the others who were gathered before the alpha as if he were some godly figure.

Avikii watched as Lightning stepped towards the front, “Lightning, i've observered how well you work out tactics for battle, for example, the way you threw out multiple ideas on the night we captured that bison wolf.” The black and tan alpha paused, “and because of that, I have decided to put you as a lead warrior up until you prove yourself of a higher position.” He gave a small dip of his head in congradulation.
302 eyed Lightning, jealousy pricking through his shaded black pelt. Avikii had better decide to rank me up, he thought to himself.

Lightning beamed,and dipped his head, it took him a moment but he managed, "Thank you Avikii," he said softly to him. And with that he turned off and walked off back among the others with his head high and proud.

Avikii looked down at the wolf standing before him. “Kane, your hunting skills as a normal hunter are highly acceptional, you will be ranked up to lead hunter.” The alpha dipped his head as a congratulation to the newly ranked wolf.
302 was a shadow amongst the crowd, he despratly wanted to be ranked up, he was tired of being looked down on. He gave a small glarey look to Avikii as in, 'you better be ranking me up.' He sat down since he was becoming rather bored and his back legs ached.
