Avikii grinned at Kaiser, “oh then I'm sure you'll love this too...” He raised a paw and splashed her, water flying everywhere. He laughed when he saw he had gotten her soaked, “you look like a weeping willow love!” He said inbetween laughter.

Her eyes widened as he splashed a ton of water at her. She helped slightly, water getting in her eyes and nose. She sighed, soaking wet and dripping water " I did not love that." She said.

Avikii smiled, “but I like trees...” He licked her cheek. He then backed up slightly, looking at Lightning. “Hey Lightning! Come on back over aren't you roasting!?” Avikii called to his friend, Lightning had to be crazy to be curled up on a hot day like this.

Lightning stood up with a sigh, "Whats it to you?" He called out from the opposite bank as he trudged through the waters back towards the two. He looked between them, then away, his tail flicking slightly. He laid his ears back, he felt slightly bad for being so snappish to his Alpha, however he couldnt help it all that much.

Lightning lead the way out of the water, a short distance away to where there was tall brush and only a single tall tree for shade. There weren't very many trees out on the oxbow plains. He sat down on a cool patch of dirt and sighed a bit.
His tail swept over the ground as he started to talk, "Look, the only reason I am telling you this is because you're my alpha. I wouldn't be telling you if otherwise." He scoffed looking off to the side. "There are two things..." He trailed off trying to determine what to say first. He looked down and decided to get the easiest part out of the way.
"Over the past, uhm, half moon or so. I have been having these odd dreams. I wan't to say they are just dreams but they feel all too real. I probably sound crazy to you but uhm here it goes. I was a small pup, and, and my mother passed away. I don't know what happened to my father. I can't say if he left her, if he died or if she left him. I was only about six or seven moons old when she died."
He looked down at the ground, his ears laid back, "Then there was a storm and and... and I had a sister. She nearly drowned but I saved her. Sadly, she didn't act the same. She didn't seem to remember me all that well, she just, she had some sort of twisted mindset. She thought I killed our mom."
He laid on the ground, trying to keep the tears from his eyes the more he thought about it. "She left to join a pack, and I followed from the outskirts. I just wanted to make sure she was okay. After about a few moons, I was about a year old by now and I had managed to survive on scraps that were left by foxes and crows."
He paused for a breath, "I cant say why, why she came, or why she left her pack or if they disbanded or what. She came after me, out of nowhere. It was a night with lightning but no rain. She was determined to kill me. I was weak, I wasn't fit to fight. I hadn't eaten, or even slept well."
He sighed, "The dreams came to me in a backwards sequence, and I never forgot them." He looked down at his stomach. "But i swear they are real, or I wouldn't have this." He nudged fur aside to reveal a long deep scar.
"She gave it to me, expecting me to die a slow death... And.. And all i have done is ... is get back at her. But shes my blood.I- She shes all I have left. She doesn't even remember me with exception of giving me the wounds im sure." His ears laid back tears filling his eyes as he rambled on a bit confusing with the last part.
"And all that Ive done, we have done," He corrected, looking up at Avikii. "We have starved her, beaten her, I nearly killed her. She hates every fur on my body."
"I have nothing." He said softly.

Avikii listened, and continued to listen. He noticed a couple times Lightning even tried to stop himself from crying, thats what showed Avikii this was no joke. As he continued to listen, it started to make more sense, and he soon realised that him and Arrow were siblings. Avikii easily recalled harassing her, he knew he had never given her food or water either, and he also knew that she was back at camp, melting in her tiny hot den. Avikii finally met Lightnings glossed gaze, “so shes your sister then... what are you planning to do?” He asked. He wasn't sure about simply releasing her...

Lightning shook his head. "I don't know, I mean, she is still a Bison Pack Wolf." He looked at his paws, half hoping Avikii would not ask about the second problem he had and merely forget about it. It seemed even if he did tell him it wouldn't matter in the end anyway. He sighed softly, his ears pinned to the back of his head.

Avikii glanced past Lightning at Takoni and Ryka, it was true that she was a rival Bison wolf, and couldn't be merely released. But perhaps... They could simply treat her better, possibly treat wounds, then she could get a glimpse at the real Canyon pack ways towards their own, and not towards outsiders. But he still wouldn't let her get too comfortable, for if she grew strong enough she could escape... He was so deep in thought he almost forgot that Lightning was still standing before him, then he remembered he had something else to say. “We'll figure out what to do with Arrow when we get back to camp.” He paused, “in the meantime, we'll enjoy the cool water, and you'll finish what you had to say...” Avikii trailed off, looking at Lightning with his cool blue gaze.

Lightning nodded in response, annnddd he had remembered.
He chuckled awkwardly, "I probably will sound like a pup when I say this out loud..." He broke off trying to figure out a different way of wording it.
"I dunno.. Its just well... Its Kaiser." He looked over, seeing her off in the water a short distance away. "I mean, shes pretty, well I mean beautiful. Words cant even begin to describe how happy it makes me to see her let alone that smile of hers." His tail wagged slightly as he looked at her.
He broke off briefly, "But she hardly notices anything I do, at least not with you around. My words are nothing to her and when you speak you're like some GOD. I mean... I guess it doesn't really matter anymore anyway. After that morning of seeing you guys still by the river and it looked like you guys already had.. well become mates I mean i guess whatever I think doesn't matter."
His ears laid back, he looked at his paws and his tail stopped wagging... the words'I have nothing' still ringing in his ears from earlier. It was a bitterly selfish thought.
