The Rogue Invasion [Complete]

Kane stayed behind the wolf couple, and was surprised when avikii and his mate came to a stop in a battle ready position, he did the same as them, growling with warning.

Kaiser's fur prickled a bit, narrowing her eyes as she looked around for whoever could be carrying the new scent. She lashed her tail a bit as she stopped next to Avikii.

Vena padded a pace or two infront of 302, keeping her ears pricked and staying alert.

Avikii paused, he stopped growling, but his fur remained on end. He parted his mouth, the disgusting scent was strong, which meant it was close. He glanced at Kaiser, then to Kane, signaling to slowly move forwards. Avikii stalked ahead, silent on his paws, he could see dark shapes through the dry grass, murmuring in rough voices.

"I'm tired of all these scraps we call food, I want a REAL territory, with REAL food!" Avikii heard one of the figures hiss. He stepped back with a start, were these rogues? He thought, are they plotting to invade my territory and take my land? Avikii shook his head, clearing the thoughts, whatever their reason was for being so close to the border, it couldn't be good, and he planned to investigate.

Avikii glanced back at Kane and Kaiser again, giving a small nod. "I think that rancid scent is coming from rogues, and they're right up ahead..." He stopped, "I don't like them being so close, so we're going to chase them off. He looked up again, a small breeze suddenly picking up. The sky was darkening, the distant thunder clouds had approached quicker than he thought, they would have to get these rogues up and fleeing quickly.

That's when he lunged, Avikii burst swiftly from the tall dead grasses that had been concealing him, he landing right behind one of the dark figures, he quickly nipped its haunch, hoping to send the flea ridden scum charging away in fright with all the rest of this little group. But Avikii's assumptions were wrong, the dark wolf turned to face the alpha, a long scar ran down the side of his face, over his eye and to the end of his nose. He had a single blind eye, and a vicious snarl enwrapping his muzzle, drool dripping from its jaws.

The rogue wolf turned, feeling a sharp in in its rear. He saw a large, healthy wolf, oh whom he assumed was of good strength. The dark wolf simply snickered, "oh silly little wolf, you won't send us fleeing that quick... Or for that matter, at all." He barked, his fellow wolves slowly crept from the grasses, which had kept them surprisingly well hidden.

"We'll see you back at your little 'camp' " he said and flicked an ear, the other mangy wolves shot forwards, a few scratched at Avikii as they passed, or even gave small bites.

Avikii wildly glanced between them, he expected trouble, but not this much. He grunted as the group raced past, feeling a few sharp stings here and there. "He looked up at the first wolf, who remained in front of him. Avikii pulled his lips back in a snarl, "you know I won't let foolish mange-bags like you take my territory that easily...." He held a defensive stance, his tail swaying side to side. Avikii glanced to the side at Kaiser, "take Kane and head for camp, try to find the hunting patrol on the way and warn them about the wolves headed for camp and stop them, we've got company..." He glared back up at the drooling rogue with a sharp frost-bitten gaze.

Kaiser glared at the rouges, snarling a bit, not wanting to draw attention to her self, ears flattened a bit. Looking towards Avikii, she nodded " Let's go." She said to Kane before heading off, running towards the camp entrance, assuming the wolves hunting hadn't gotten that far. Bolting forward, she continued to run until she almost literally ran into 302. " We have to get back to camp, now." She said " We ran into rouges, and they bit Avikii and now they're planning on coming into the camp." She stayed, panting a bit.

Avikii stayed put for a moment, he paced forwards a bit, putting intimidation on the smaller rogue wolf. He snarled again, swipeing out a paw at the mysterious wolf, his claw snagged its shoulder, he perked his ears as the ragged sound of a yelp escaped its mouth.

Avikii took this chance to run, the wolfs distraction of pain a perfect chance to catch up with Kaiser and Kane, his main focus was to protect his pack, he would never let rogues overtake his newfound home. Avikii darted forwards, mucsles tensing as he thrusted his paws into the dirt to get a grip on the loose soil. As he was running forwards, he saw a smudged figure in the distance, it was hard to scent anything at such a speed he was running at so he assumed the smudged brown figure were just one from the hunting group he sent out. He finally caught up with Kaiser, who had easily found 302.

302 looked up in surprise at the panting Kaiser, "Avikii got bit by rogues? They're headed here?" He immediately thought of Arrow, who from what his knowledge told him, was still at camp. He turned to the others, "head back to camp, be ready for an invasion..." His tail lashed, teeth beared at the thought of rotten rat-eating rogues on the land he so dearly loved.

Kaiser nodded " We should all go now, and quickly." She said, catching her breath, turning to look at Avikii. " Are you okay?" She asked, wanting to make sure he wasn't hurt.

Lightning glanced around, he was returning back to camp after managing to find a hare not too far off while wandering through some thick brush and overgrowth. He walked into camp, setting the rather small hare into the pile. It wasn't much, but hopefully the hunting patrol would do good. He yawned again and went to go rest in a corner of the camp, oblivious to all the outside action. He hadn't an idea to the rouges being nearby, he had been sending 302 on the night patrols recently, and the morning patrols hadn't covered that part of the territory. Suddenly, a rain droplet hit his nose, he decided perhaps he should instead head to his den.

Arrow headed towards the rouges, without a knowledge of what she was headed for. She crept closer and closer towards an old trail, making her way further from the hunting grounds but somewhat closer to camp (OOC- Like shes in a triangle of points and while hunting grounds are further, both the camp and rouges are closer if you get what i mean?). Arrow glanced around, rain starting to fall from the sky. She sighed, "Perhaps I should return to camp before the others do..." she sighed and looked around with a last curiosity. 

Avikii watched as Kaiser ran off once more, and soon as the other wolves began to follow. He looked up, the rain was coming down harder now, begining to soak through his thick pelt. Thankfully there wasn't any lightning or thunder, yet... Avikii turned his head again, he was left alone know, he sent his pack back to camp to defend. Small dark figures could be seen approaching on the misty horizon, they were approaching quickly, however, he couldn't seem to make out a shape that could be the slightly larger wolf that had first revealed itself.

302 sprinted forwards behind Kaiser, quickly making his way back to camp.

Kaiser looked over at Lightning " There's rouges. They plan on attacking the camp." She said
