Lightning looked after Kaiser, "Kaiser wait!" He called out. His tail lashed, "I realise Avikii is your mate.." He said softly with a slight twinge of sadness. "However, I am the lead warrior, and if Avikii had sent you here, I order you to stay." He said, his tone hardening with his eyes. The howl was undeniably Avikii's, on the other paw, he knew Avikii well and knew he would not fall so easily.
He glanced around, "I want all wolves out of their dens and ready to defend the camp." He said, glancing around briefly, his eyes rested on Arrows den. There was something odd about the heap of fur that lay there in the falling darkness the cloud cover overhead brought. "Arrow," He growled softly to himself, either she had escaped or perhaps even brought the rouges here for revenge or even to cover her escape. His tail lashed as anger flooded over him.
He turned and glanced at the gathered wolves who emerged from their dens from the commotion and those who had returned from the patrols. "Quickly, I want a line of five of five wolves about five fox lengths from the camp, then five more by the entrance and then the rest of you in here, ready to defend the weaker wolves such as broken and any of our pups."
The thought sparked his mind, pups, he glanced over at Kaiser with a tilted head. He couldn't be sure if she was or would be, but right now she was one of the packs only hope at growing. "Kaiser i want you to stay no further then the camp entrance, understood." He added a sharp growl to his tone, he wouldnt have her disobeying him. He took a stance of dominance, he may not be the alpha, he may not be her mate, but he was the lead warrior and the highest in command for such a situation. His tone demanding respect and obedience.
Arrow had joined with the outskirts of the rouges, making her way inward, they hadn't seemed to notice her just yet as she blended in with their messy and ungroomed fur not to mention the cuts and slim size. She felt a nip on her haunch, passing Avikii, did he notice her? She hadn't time to process it and kept running as they neared the camp.
Instinct drew over her as she felt the need to fight. She looked ahead, staring at what the rouges hoped to gain. Why did she want so badly to fight? To fight for those who had hurt her? What if she wasn't fighting for them? Was it her dignity at stake? Was it the good of all of Slough Creek? Was it for someone? She didn't know and didn't have time to sort it out.
She growled and pushed her way towards the front, leaping at one of the leading rouges. She sank her teeth into its hind a howl of pain ringing out through the air. Her tail lashed with satisfaction. However a few rouges, two or three, came from behind to aid their friend. Whoever she attacked must be one of their stronger or some silly rouges wouldn't bother to help. The number that were coming after her told her they wanted to pick her off and quickly. The others race by them, leaving the battle to those few rouges.
Arrow felt teeth sink into her tail, right where lightning had. She let go of the rouge she attacked, howling out in pain.

Kaiser stopped in her tracks, turning around to face Lightning. Nodding with a sigh, she walked back into the camp, her pale yellow eyes narrowed a bit. Not towards Lightning of course. She waited for his instructions, dipping her head a bit. She climbed up onto somethin higher than the ground so she could get a could view of who was coming, and when.

Lightning moved up closer to the front, he watched as the wolves neared, theirpaws thundering against the ground. A slight rumble could be felt under paw, he couldn't tell if it were the loud thunder high above in the rolling clouds or the nearing rouges. There was a crack of lightning in the distance, lighting up a few tussling figures, it seemed to be something like three? four? against one... He wondered if perhaps that was Avikii. However Avikii sounded to be further and the howl didn't sound the same. He brushed it off and awaited for the rouges to near, "STAND YOUR GROUND!" He called out, tensing for battle.
Arrow writhed between the rouges, trying to stay out of their reach. She couldn't land a single blow without putting herself at risk. She felt like a trapped hare with nowhere to run, nothing to do. She whimpered, but gave no sign of submission. All she could do was try and play defense for now.

302 pricked his ears, he could ear a yowl in the distance and he noticed the rogues had slowed down. Through the rain it was hard to make out but he swore he saw them attacking, each other? No, that couldn't be, but they stopped and were now in a clump not far off from camp. He glanced back at Lightning, his leader-like words ringing in his ears, "Lightning! You've got it under control here, I'm going to go down there and find out why the rogues slowed down." He said and quickly bounded over the small slope, towards the commotion.

Avikii felt a hard bite on his shoulder, the rogue was fighting back now, or wait, its flails were more frantic than planned, was he trying to escape Avikii's grasp? He cleared the thoughts, biting down harder on the rogues front flank. Blood was beginning to flow faster from the bite wound he provided the rogue with, it thrashed and trashed until finally it ripped free, literally. Avikii was still biting down on the rogues fur, but the wolf was free. Avikii's eyes averted to his muzzle, he had ripped out a chunk of the rogues fur. He glanced back up, his normally bright blue eyes were dark and cold.
"I'll get you for that alpha.." The rogue snarled, but took off, running to catch up with the rest of this group. Avikii narrowed his eyes, he quickly bounded forward after the wolf, this fool had no idea how fast he was.

Kane realised he was falling behind his other wolves, he ran and caught up with kaiser back at camp "wheres avikii?"
koga stood behind lightning, her fur on end. im going to have to be careful,, she thought thinking of her unborn pup

Kaiser glanced over at the the ground, the rouge wolves approaching quickly. She flattened herself to the ground, trying to hide herself. She waited for the rouges to come, her fur prickling , ears flattened, and eyes narrowed.

Lightning nodded to 302, watching him take off, veering slyly past the rouges who headed towards them with full force. He was curious to what was going on up there. Chances were the rouges weren't fighting themselves but who knows if they could be. He flicked his tail and wished him the best on the inside.
Lightning saw Koga and Kane come, the rouges not far behind. Upon noticing Kogas little puppy bump, "Koga I want you in camp, you may fight, only if they break past the two ten wolf defense rungs. That's an order." He barked at her. He glanced over to Kane, "Either fight besides me out here, or at the entrance of the camp." He knew the male was strong, and he wanted the toughest warriors at the front and the more vulnerable and valuable wolves towards the back. He was not considering the females as incapable but they were more valuable to the pack then they may realize.
Arrow yelped as one clamped down on her, ear, she struggled but pulled it free. Blood dripped from her tail and ear, melting away beneath the rain by the time it had hit the ground. She was doing fairly well on defense considering they hadn't managed to get very close to her face, throat or flank. Fatigue was nearing, but her adrenaline kept her moving. She was determined to stay alive, this time...

Kaiser sighed quietly, growing a bit impatient as her legs started to cramp. She laid down a bit more, not wanting to stand up and show herself to the rouges. She stayed quiet, peeking overtop at the oncoming fight.

302 pounded full blast towards the rogues, his paws were surprisingly quite on the wet ground, careful not to slip up on the occasional muddy spots. He stayed behind the taller grasses, the water that clung to them falling on his already drenched pelt as he crept low, finally slowing down. He could see through the grass, he was close enough now to get a good view on why the rogues were clumped and scrambling. Small yips and growls came from the clump, and they sounded all too familiar. "Arrow!?" He screeched, bursting from the grass with full force, his muscles tense.
A rogue heard 302 screech the name, it stopped, tilting its head to the side, but quickly yelping in surprise as he saw the agile black wolf emerge from the grass.
302 dug his claws into the nearest rogue, it was hard to cling to it since his claws weren't exactly meant for that but he tried anyways. He yowled and swiped at another rogue, the others noticed his appearance as well and began to slightly let up on the battered she-wolf below them.

Avikii darted after the 'leader' rogue, his mouth open, breathing rapidly. Of course he was tired, but that factor wouldn't make him let up the chase that quick. Avikii realised the rogue wasn't headed for his group,which had for some reason stopped. He bolted past the clump of rogues that had stopped running, he wasn't sure why they had stopped but he ignored that thought. his sole focus right now was to stop the scar-faced wolf from reaching camp.

koga looked at lightning, scoffing "fine, but just because im goign to have pups doesnt mean i cant fight outside the camp!" she sadi when she turned around and sound her way back to camp she sat down at the hunters den, waiting

Arrow breathed heavily, bringing herself to her paws. She wasted no time to jump back into action. Her eyes blazed with an anger, a fury, a... a.. a hopelessness that all longed to escape her body. She hadn't the time to process who her savior was but leapt upon the back of a distracted rouge quickly, forgetting of her wounds and soreness.
Lightning launched himself at a rouge as they came head on with him. He took down one of the front line rouges, one of the stronger ones. He got it caught beneath his paws, it writhed around in effort to get free. A second rouge landed on top of Lightning pulling him free. The stronger ones took on the five in the front line, while the others slipped past towards the second line, leaving the weaker and lower ranked rouges to infiltrate the camp. They seemed to be lower in this rouge pack to Lightning at least due to their much more malnourished state in comparison to some of the others..

Kaiser stared down at the ground, waiting for the rouges to come into the camp. She pushed herself up a bit, getting ready. Seeing the rouge pack, she pushed herself off the rock, snarling a bit as ah landed on the ground, tackling one of the wolves who had made it into the second line of wolves guarding the camp.

Avikii finally caught up with the rogue he had been chasing, right as it reached camp, he pounced. Avikii caught it with a hard bite to the thigh, his pack was nearby and he realised that there were more rogues swarming by the camp that what he had met at the border. Where had they all come from? Avikii bit down hard at the rogue he had in his jaws, he trashed his head back and forth, weakening the wolf. Once he saw his chance, he let go of the rogue, but quickly stepping forward to bite at its neck. The rogue let out an ear piercing yelp of pain and attempted in vain to free himself from Avikii's grasp.

302 felt a sting on his flank, he turned, growling, to see a white female rogue, her appearance didn't fool him though. The Casanova lunged forwards, snagging a claw on her fur. She let out a yelp, but that quickly turned to a growl as she also jumped for him. 302 was swept off his feet, he hit the ground hard, feeling her claws in his scruff. He peeled back his lips in a snarl, his golden eyes full of hate towards this rogue, an honestly towards all the others.

kanes eyes went wide as he saw all the approaching wolves. he growled and jumped forwards running away from lightnings side. he jumped on a rogue pinning it to the ground and bitting at his neck
koga could heard growls from outside the camp, and could see all the action she was missing out on

Kaiser had pinned the wolf down, snarling loudly, her eyes narrowed. Her mouth pulled back into a snarl, she dug her claws down near its neck, not sure if she was supposed to kill them or not.

Arrow managed to barely send one of them packing, far to scared of her to stand around much longer. How pathetic. She glanced over breifly at the one she left bloodied and on the ground. It was barely breathing and its pelt was stained with blood from its flank. She may be rather weak appearing, but despite her injuries and malnourished appearance, she had been getting a lot of sleep and more food then usual so she had alot of strength. Not to mention the adrenaline running through her blood helped her to forget of any pains and provide her with extra energy. She glanced over at the last rouge, the white wolf.. She threw herself at it, more reckless then her other tactics but she got it off of whoever was pinned. All arrow could manage to process was friend and foe. She was about to begin a tussle with the white wolf as she was attacked again. Guess the white wolf wasn't the last one. She writhed around, wiggling beneath it, making it hard to get a grip on her. She finally found her time with her first pack before bison was useful. She used an odd strategy, her fighting unlike the others. Not wild like a rouge or courageous and bold like the warrior style of a pack. No it was sly, it messed with your mind.
Arrow's teeth flashed at the muzzle of the wolf that held her pinned, her chin close to her throat, protecting it. She wiggled beneath the wolf, seeming as if just to get free, but in that same moment, what the rouge didn't realize was that Arrow had her paws perfectly beneath them. She pressed her feet against its belly, catching it off guard. She pummeled at its belly, lifting it just barely off of her. She wasn't strong, but she was quick. She hopped to her paws quickly and moved away from the wolf.
Lightning watched as the two wolves began to gang up on him. He growled refusing to let his guard down. The minute they charged at him, he leapt over them with a surprising force.

Kaiser looked over at Lightning out of the corner of her eye. She bit at the wolf's throat, not enough to kill him but just to distract it. She hopped off the wolf, nipping its muzzle before running over towards Lightning, she kept her body a bit lower to the ground. Snarling a bit, she leaped at one of the wolves closer to her, meeting its claws as they continued to fit, her trying to sneak in a few bites here and there.

Lightning glanced at Kaiser, his ears pinned against his head as he fought. He hadn't the chance to say anything to her and send her back towards the entrance before he felt a crushing weight land on him, winding him. Boy that she wolf was quite distracting. He flicked his tail and looked at the rouge who had him pinned. He risked his throat by reaching up to grab the wolfs scruff. He pressed his hind paws into its left side, unbalancing it and letting it fall hard on its side

Kaiser narrowed her eyes, landing on all fours after fighting on her hind legs. She quickly rammed into the wolves stomach, pinning it down. She let out a quiet growl before quickly delivering a bite to its neck. Continuing to pin it down until she was sure it was dead, she hopped off, prodding its side just to be sure. Glancing at Lightning, noticing he was handling himself, she ran to the side of the camp, hiding in the shadows as she snuck up on another rouge.
