It was near sun-high, but you could hardly tell through all the dark clouds that trapped the suns warm rays of light. Avikii heaved himself off his paws, stepping out from under the small ledge before shaking his pelt of dirt and dampness, small mists sparkled around him as he shook his pelt clean of dust. He decided to go find Kaiser, wondering if whatever she was up to was interesting... <<>> 302 sat on the outskirts of camp, he couldn't keep his eyes from Arrow, who was only a lump of shivering dark fur. He began to debate if he could sneak in, not easily in broad daylight, he thought. He heard paw steps a little ways off and turned his head to see Avikii. The Casanova sighed a bit, Avikii sure did have the life... He had a mate and soon he would be the father of pups. 302 found himself thinking about the day he would be a father and actually stick with the family. He shook his thoughts aside as Arrow caught his eye again, he couldn't help but host a light smile. |

Broken layed down near the outskirts of camp, too, a little bit aways from 302. She sighed to herself; with everyone suddenly having pups, she longed for some of her own, but the right wolf hadn't catched her eye, or in her case, ears, yet.
But at least she would be able to help with the oncoming pups, just thinking about it made the she-wolf's tail wag in excitement.
She hummed a bit, flicking her ears and tail, just to have something to do. |

Avikii approached Kaiser from behind, stalking towards her in a way as he neared, then sneakily licked her cheek from behind, "Hey there sunshine." Avikii couldn't help himself from calling her that, he had given a lot of she-wolves fun little nicknames in that past as it seemed to just be habit he couldn't drop. "Rains still not letting up, at least it's only a drizzle." Avikii came up on her side, sitting down and soaking in the light rain.

Broken's ear perked at Avikii's words, and she let out another low sigh. She laid her head on her paws, and her humming increased in volume, trying to tone out Avikii's and his mate's conversation. |

Kaiser jumped slightly, not noticing nor hearing Avikii. She had been zoned out, staring at the rain. She tilted her head, looking to face. " Hello." She said, smiling slightly as she stood up. " Ironic how it's raining out, and I'm literally soaked." She said jokingly talking about the nickname. (( Is thAT BETTER CHILD?))

Lightning sat near to the camp entrance, his fur was fluffed to the best of its ability despite the dampness of his pelt. His head was tilted down towards his paws, his ears laid back to keep out the rain. He stay there huddled to try and gather warmth to his body. He was not all that cold, but neither was he warm.
Arrow shivered violently, her pelt still soaked from standing up earlier that morning. Every few minutes another drop of rain would from on the leaves and fall onto her head. Drip. Drip. Drop. Drop. She turned her head and glanced at 302, she offered him a smile, trying to appear optimistic. None the less, her body still quivered, aching with every shake as her body desperately tried to gain warmth. Her thin body and short pelt however would not retrain it. She made the slightest of whimpers.
Lightning, who was fairly close, managed to hear Arrows whimper. He couldn't help but pitty her. The torture they were putting her through all because of a silly pack divide. Perhaps he was just silly. Was blood really worth more than a pack rivalry? He couldn't tell. He stood up and walked over by the fresh kill pile, inspecting it but not very hungry as the thoughts of all he had done to his sister, filled his head. He sat down again and looked around the camp, growing mopey again. He just didn't know what to do. How to get these feelings out of his head out of... his chest... his heart. He laid down, hesitant at first on the ground due to it being wet. He glanced over at 302 who kept casting side glances towards Arrow. He couldn't tell if perhaps he had feelings for the rival pack wolf or if he just pittied her. He dismissed any thoughts that the cassanova actually had feelings for any wolf. On the other paw, the idea that 302 could even pitty a wolf still surprised him, he seemed too tough to be that kind of wolf. Lightning had convinced himself that 302 just pittied Arrow still trying to deny himself the fact nearly half the pack already had a mate and everyone he liked just fell from his grasp.
(OML I JUST REALISED SOMETHING BUT ID FEEL BAD IF I EVEN TRIED IT AH XD XC )

Avikii's pelt rippled as he felt the misty rain on his pelt, "that's I said it," he winked, and amused expression crossing his face. He paused, turning to face Lightning after hearing his shuffling paw steps, he then turned to face Broken. She was always so quite, it's almost as if she seemed gone for a while. Avikii shrugged to himself, focusing on Kaiser again.

302 felt eyes on him for a split second, he assumed it was Arrow and turned to face her direction yet again. He observed her shivering and small whimpers of discomfort, the least they could do was keep her in a nicer den? He eyed her, feeling a twinge of something... He wasn't sure what. Whatever it was made him feel strongly for Arrow's equality, even if she was a member from a rival pack. All he did though was heave another sigh.

She could feel small glances and looks burning into her pelt; it just made her quiet down. She flattened her ears, keeping her tail close. Were they pitting her? Why were they looking at her?
She whimpered; a very, quiet, short whimper. She shifted a bit, turning her head, and pretending to look at something, even though all she could "see" was black.
She began hummimg again, trying to stay in tune with the rain. |

She sighed slightly as she yawned. It wasn't a good idea to just sit in the pouring rain, since she was now cold. She looked around the camp before padding over to the kill pile, grabbing a small hare, walking towards her den to get away from the rain.

Avikii watched as Kaiser silently got up and left his side, he sighed, but assumed she just wanted to get out of the light, misty rain. He couldn't help his own enjoyment of rain, it may be cold, but he liked the feeling of the water droplets coating his thick pelt. He continued to thoughtlessly watch as his mate snatched a hard from the pile and eventually made her way into their den. He closed his eyes for a moment, thoughts threading their way back into his mind. What if? He pinned his ears, his tail lashed only slightly, only getting coating in the wet dirt below it.

Lightning glanced around, his mind astir with thoughts, his head hurt with it all. He didn't know what to do. Should he request Avikii to lighten up on the Bison female or leave it be. He didn't know, he couldn't hang around here though. Her mere presence alone drove his mind wild with thoughts he wish he didnt have to worry over. He quickly stood up and in his hurry, he accidentally bumped into broken but had continued along his way, not having realised he had even come in contact with her. He headed out at a slow pace, his eyes low on the ground, it was obvious he had something on his mind. He passed through the center of camp, past avikii and out towards the entrance.
Arrows shivers grew to be as intense as they would get. It was obvious her fur was thin and it was obvious that he pelt was drenched despite the thing she called a shelter. She looked away from 302, and did her best to try and calm he shivers but she just couldn't. She felt her breathing begin to slow, she wasnt used to such a lack of body weight or fur at this time of year when the cold winds blew that reminded us all that winter would be here before we knew it. She regretted not sneaking into 302s den, for all she knew with the wolves crowded outside, she wouldn't have even been seen. She tried to shift, but this only brought a bit of pain, her muscles stiffened over from the cold that affected her much worse than any of the others who were healthy.

"Hey!" Broken growled softly, shifting to try and get her position back. Wolves these days; they acted like they were as just as blind as her. She knew they could do better than that. She sighed, over-hearing the shivering wolf.
She padded over quietly, and pressed herself against Arrow, and began grooming her. She didn't care even if she was from a rival pack; a wolf isn't meant to die of hypotherma. She turned her head, and growled softly at her pack-mates; they were acting deaf, too.

Lightning headed outside of the camp, out on a walk. His brain was too scattered at the moment to process much.
Arrow was all too numb to even feel the slight warmth against her body. She could sense another wolf's presence but she couldn't tell who it was. She still came to find out it was hard to smell. Perhaps it was just the rain, however her optimism quickly melted away to pessimism. She kept her eyes closed tightly, she didn't care who it was besides her but was glad they had the heart to come to her aid. She still clung to the slight hope it was 302 besides her, but the body felt all too small to match his. Perhaps he didn't care as much as she thought or even wished he did. Her shallow breaths, teeth chattering through the cold, barely managed to speak out the few words, "Th-th-thank... y-y-you.." She stuttered. A mist of rain still falling past the branches and leaves that sloppily made up a small and cramped prisoners den.

Then to his dismay he watched as she padded towards Arrow's makeshift den in a silent trot. His ears drooped as he watched her squueze into the small den and begin to lick the Bison Pack wolf in attempt to warm her up.

Arrow shivered, she opened her eyes to see the blind wolf who went by Broken laying besides her. Over time, after only being able to sit around and observe, she had quickly learned each wolf's name as well as defining characteristics and rank. She had come to know Broken to be blind, but despite stereotypes, the she wolf was warmer at heart then she had thought. Perhaps it would only take a wolf of pity to understand a wolf of pity. She looked back to the ground and closed her eyes, refusing to look back towards 302.
