Lightning let out an exhale, his warm breath hardly created visible clouds past the cold rain and dampened air. He opened his eyes, staring out into the sky. He could only wonder of what lay ahead of him. In all honesty, even for the bravest wolf, ideas of the future were quite chaotic. You never knew what could come out of it. A horrendous death. The greeting of an old friend. The loss of a loved one. Memories that turn back time. He thought of most of these things by personal experience, but you never knew when they could happen again. His nose twitched as his mind wandered on with curiosity. Hopefully... curiosity wont kill this cat...(er wolf)
Arrow giggled softly, realizing she had done a fair job of wetting his fur with her shower of licks better then the shower of rain outside would do. She smiled and pressed her head against his scruff. She took in every second, every bit of his scent, every feeling she had. She hadn't felt this way for a long time... She didn't want to let it go this time...

Avikii watched the little pup pad toward him, the happy little pep in her step quite obvious. "I guess I'll start by showing you the area where we keep our leftover prey from hunts." He angled his ears towards the prey pile. "C'mon!" The alpha turned in the direction of the mound of prey, she would have to learn where to put food when bringing it back from hunts and where to get food when hungry, though wolves should be cautious about how much prey they take and how often.
They approached the small pile, should probably send out another hunting group. He glanced back at the pup, who had followed him. "Here's where you can get prey from when you're hungry, only take bigger animals if you share with some other wolf, but it'll be awhile before you can gain strength to carry something as big as an elk leg." He smiled down at the pup.

302 eyed her, he licked his muzzle when she stopped herself and smiled, taking in the moment as much as she seemed to be. He was still on guard though, and began to wonder why Avikii or Lightning didn't come to investigate. He didn't care though, he simply wanted to think about now. Looking down at Arrow again, who had her head pretty much nuzzled under his, he gave her a light lick to the top of her head, in almost a comforting way.

Elpis followed him. When they reached the pile she nodded to him in regards to the rules. She bent down forward, entering an attack stance in a playful manner. A smirk went across her face as she uttered a small growl. "I'll be super strong!" She exclaimed with glee.

Avikii couldn't help but light up as well, "that's right, soon enough you can help out on hunts, and maybe you'll even gain a high rank." He looked down at her attack stance. "You've got much to learn though, when you get bigger of course." He turned debating on what he would show her next, perhaps she had an idea on what she wanted to see herself. He nudged her slightly with a fore paw to grab her attention, he then angled it towards the expanse of their den site. "Have an idea on what you want to check out?"

Elpis looked up at him and then outward. She wanted to meet the others, but didn't want to approach them directly. "What about others?" She requested with some hesitation.

Avikii looked around, the camp was pretty empty, wait, there was Lightning. He turned back to the pup, "want to meet one of my closest friends?" He smiled down at her, hoping to sound encouraging. "He sets up a lot of the patrols to help me out, his rank is Lead Warrior, maybe you'll be a Warrior one day and get some training from him or me>" He said with a slight wag of the tail. Avikii certainly was daydreaming out loud.

Arrow held her body pressed close to his. She was no longer shaking, but merely wanted to be near to him. Her heart fluttered through her chest at his slightest touch. She felt like she was living in another universe, perhaps in a dream. Perhaps she was only dreaming and she would wake up surrounded by the scorched lands of Bison pack territory, long forgotten with the rest of the ashes, the small pup she tried to rescue would be dead and it would be her fault for not having been quicker, or smarter, or or something.
She opened her eyes and looked down at her paws. She felt like she was floating on cloud nine, but when would she be pulled back down to earth? What would happen if Avikii found out? What if Lightning found out? What if they were punished? What if they hurt 302 because of her foolish wishes, because of her stupid happiness.
She felt a heaviness fall upon her, sadness, perhaps she just wasn't ever meant to be happy.... She did not know, but she put 302 at a risk, and she couldn't, she wouldn't let him suffer in the end because of her. She needed to go before things got any worse.
She could even recall her own poor nutritional and living conditions, they would only get worse as time passed and winter neared. Perhaps she should try to escape?
She pressed closer to 302. Nothing would pull the two of them apart. At least... Not until nightfall. She wanted just a bit of time with him before she would make her leave.
A part of her still was a Bison pack wolf, and she always was and had been, ever since she was brought into this world of unending unhappiness.
She decided, at nightfall... at nightfall, she would sneak out and try to make her way back to bison territory.
She closed her eyes tightly. A male shouldn't be keeping her tied down to a rival pack like this, she needed to go home. She needed to run. She needed to fight, even if it meant her life.
She did her best to hold back any emotions and hoped her thoughts didn't show through with a slight change in her emotion and movements. She bit her tongue and held her tongue, her heart up in her throat, tightening it, making every breath, every moment that much harder. She didn't want to leave, but she had to. If she stayed any longer it would become that much worse.

Avikii looked up, noticing that the once foggy sky above was beginning to darken, but started to clear up. He huffed out a sigh, Elpis would have to get back to the den soon. "okay, let's go meet Lightning, and we'll have to get you back to Broken in the nursery."

302 shifted, he seemed to sense Arrow's swarming thoughts, but he had no idea what was keeping her mind buzzing. He looked at her again for a moment when she seemed to be more calm, feeling her bod press against his more. He shook the thoughts away, whatever she was thinking was probably nothing...

Lightning observed the sky as it dimmed, it didn't carry its colors the same way that it did when the clouds didn't roam through. He watched the clouds pass on and could only wish some emotions were like that. His tailtip flicked slightly as he thought, doing his best to push away his emotions and replace them as he observed the sky.
Arrow's ears laid back as he pressed her head comepletely beneath 302's she could just hardly hear his heartbeat. She pressed her eyes back to keep back any tears welled in her eyes. It was decided, she couldnt, she wouldnt let herself go back on her word. She didn't move, trying to enjoy every moment, trying to not let him see the distress in her eyes, the way she felt so torn.

Avikii lead Elpis in the direction he saw Lightning walk towards, it didn't take long to spot his friend and he picked up his pace slightly. "Hey Lightning!" He paused for a moment, making sure he got the Lead Warriors attention, he seemed to be a little out of it. Avikii approached Lightning, finding a place at his side. "Little Elpis here wants to say hello," he met Lightning's gaze, then looked down at Elpis.

Arrow lay by his side, she could hear him fall asleep. His heart beat and breaths both slowed.
Lightning's ear flicked as he heard Avikii call his name. It took him a few seconds before he pulled his attention from his thoughts and to the pup. He smiled to her,lowering himself to her level, "Hello there, Elpis" he greeted softly.

Avikii held a small smile as well, he turned to Lightning and leaned his muzzle towards his ear, "I think it's considered late for the little pup, would you want to walk her back to the nursery?" He waited for a response from Lightning.

Lightning nodded a bit and glanced down at Elpis, "Feeling sleepy?" He asked the pup. His ears flicked as he heard Koga and Kane pass, then towards Okami as he caught the lightest sigh from her mouth. She wasn't all that far from him, so it wasn't very hard to have heard. He turned his attention back towards the pup. Perhaps he could introduce himself finally to the she wolf after escorting Elpis back to the nursery. He wasn't sure if he would be able to however. She may be just as tired as he was, the light around them, dimmed to darkness.
