(Part 2 of small Bison Pack plot/even thing. OPEN TOPIC)
With the camp in sight, Storm couldn’t have felt more relieved. The wolf’s back hurt like crazy and his jaw was sore from gripping the human’s leg. There were a few times that he had to stop and take a break, constantly looking around for any coyotes that may have followed him. Although, to be frank, even those beasts were smart enough to know not to go into wolf territory. To fill the empty silence of the long journey to the den site, Storm had plenty of time to contemplate his decision. Questions ran through his head and a few times he started to panic, but somehow calmed himself down. Of all the thoughts and concerns, there was one in particular that made him anxious; could he be exiled from his own pack?
It was an odd question, but one that he needed to address. Unfortunately for him, if the majority of his pack agreed that he’d endangered them, exile might be an option. But that was nonsense, right? This human pup was no threat, and in her injured state, she wouldn’t lay a paw on anyone, and even if she did, it didn’t seem like this girl was the harmful type. I’m in denial, he thought to himself, letting out a sigh as he came closer to the den site. Of course that wasn’t the reason his pack mates would be concerned. They’d be concerned about the larger humans who might come looking for the pup. If they already knew where the wolves were, it’d be easy to track the girl down, and even though humans seemed pretty dumb, he assumed that they would be able to also track her by the blood trail.
For the Sun wolf’s sake, I’m going crazy! Reaching the den site, Storm prepared himself for the worst. He dragged the human through the narrow entrance of half dead bushes, and made his way to the center of the camp, gently letting go of her leg and giving his fur a shake. The sun was almost at its peak and the crisp morning air was turning into a hot day on the moor.
Giving a quick bark, he stood protectively over the human pup, waiting for his pack. They were most likely already alerted that something was up from the blood scent, but he wanted to make sure everyone was here. He also assumed that they would be the opposite of happy, but as their alpha, he would make sure no one came to harm.

Takoni had been laying down in a shaded corner of the den site, near a somewhat large rock, despite most of the recent rain, it was rather hot for sun high. He perked his ears at the sound of his alphas bark. He didn't raise his head at first though... There was a strange scent that filled his nose and he wasn't sure if he should get up and check it out. He sat up though, to get a better view of what was going on. Cocking his head to the side, he tried to get a good look at the alpha, nothing looked off, just the normal Storm, the alpha's paws although, he couldn't see.
He huffed, averting his eyes towards Storm, he decided to find out what the new scent was, and why the alpha had called his pack forward. He stood up from hi sitting position and took a signal step forward before stopping in his tracks. The sight before him shocked the young wolf, a human? In camp!? Why is Storm defending it? Did he kill it? He sniffed the air, realizing the scent was blood, he felt his spine shudder at his own thoughts. He met Storm's gaze for a split second, fire meeting fire. He glanced to the side, his confusion showing through his amber eyes. But why here, why bring a human here of all places, in the middle of our den site? What if he leads the humans here, in search of their injured pup? Takoni bared his teeth just the slightest bit of humans wandering into the heart of the valley. I'll shred any adult human that wanders here... His thoughts trailed off, he needed to get to the real question. He looked up at Storm again, who held a strong, protective gaze. "Storm... What's the meaning of this?" He questioned the larger wolf coolly, not wanting to sound rude. Again, why is my alpha defending this bloody, naked creature? He shook out his pale grey pelt, keeping his distance, obviously nervous to approach the human that rested under Storm's legs.
The omega waited for a response from Storm, Takoni was dying to know what was happening... And when the human would leave... Or be killed...

Ryka looked up from nibbling at a leftover bone of some sort, the strange scent hit her nose, it smelt like blood. She stood up and padded to Takoni first, glancing to Storm who had barked. "What's going on?" Thats when she noticed the human

Storm looked around the camp. As expected, everyone looked shocked and he couldn't blame them. Most of them had every reason to be displeased with what he brought home, and he hoped that as their alpha, they would learn to accept his decision. Standing up tall and hoping that he looked confident, Storm needed to explain the situation and hope for the best.
"On a patrol, I found this human pup. She is in bad shape, and coyotes almost got to her," he began. "I know that it seems odd to protect a human, but I couldn't just leave her to be killed by those beasts. Luckily, there were no signs of any other humans, and yes, I understand that they may come looking for her, and if they do, then we'll gladly give her back," he finished, waiting for someone to speak up. The older wolf didn't want to talk forever, and wondered if they would respond differently than he'd expected.

Takoni, being the arrogant wolf he was, spoke up. "We had better get rid of this naked 'thing' soon, even if the humans did come looking for their poor lost pup... They would find our den site!" His own words scared him enough to pin his ears, the young wolf couldn't grasp the thought of humans finding out where he and his fellow pack mates lived.
He glanced to his side, feeling a pelt brush against his, Ryka. He eyed her for a moment, wondering if she would say anything, either something to agree with him or disagree with him. He hoped the appearance of a human wouldn't get to her as much as it did him.

Ryka looked at Takoni for a moment before while thinkig of a response to Storms announcement. She lifted her head, "Im sorry Storm I agree with Takoni, we should get it out of here as soon as possible" She glanced to takoni out of the corner of her eye, then back to storm.

Crescent had been laying down near a rock, in the shade of one of the sparse trees, when she heard a few other wolves gather round Storm. Curious, she padded over, trying to see what the fuss was about. The gray wolf narrowed her eyes at the human pup. What was it doing here? It would only hinder the pack, she knew it. Though she was but an omega, she wasn't going to let them choose what to do with the human without her.
"I say we kill her." Crescent growled. "It'll just hinder the pack, and the sooner we're rid of her, the better!"
She didn't dare make eye contact with anybody but Storm, and lowered her head after she spoke.

Takoni perked his ears a sudden voice behind him and Ryka, He whipped his head around to see a grey wolf, a female. Her words were strong, and those of what he agreed with. Killing the human pup would be much more efficient than waiting around for some human to wander along. He thought, noticing how she held her head low in front of the alpha. He may be an omega as well, but his reputation got the best of him, I should probably shape up my manners... He shook his pale pelt out at the thought before turning to look at Storm again, who had yet to answer to his packs suggestions.

Although Storm tried to be civil and ask his pack mates for suggestions, he was honestly starting to lose his patience. Of course he agreed with them, but what was he supposed to do? Kill her? As if the ancestors were giving a sign, Crescent stepped forward and growled her two cents. It seemed like every wolf except him were in agreement, but maybe it wasn't the right choice for him to allow them to give their opinions.
Letting out a low growl, Storm snapped his muzzle together angrily. "Honestly, I don't know why I decided to ask all of you. Can't you see she needs our help?" The older wolf snapped his gaze between the three wolves that spoke up, a snarl working its way onto his muzzle.

Sitting in the back of the group, Comet had been listening to the lot of them bicker. Most of the pack was silent and only whispered among themselves, except of course, the brave souls who dare challenge their alpha. Letting out a sigh, the "Casanova" stood up, and padded towards the area where Storm stood. A calm smile stayed across his face, and unlike the others, he would express his side of the argument in a civil matter. 'Cause that's what wolves like him did, even if he was an subordinate, right?
"Ya'll are fighting like a bunch of pups," the taller wolf started, looking from the three omegas to Storm, and giving a respectful dip of his head. "For Sky Dog's sake, he's our alpha, so he must know what he's doing, right?" Looking from the rest of the pack, he looked back to Storm, bowing his head in 'suck up' sort of way. "I say we give our leader a chance to prove this human's worth, and see how it goes," Comet, being oddly tall and slim for a Bison wolf always won the female's trust, but of course, these were no females. Still, he assumed that his words of agreement towards Storm and charm would win the pack over, at least to some extent.

Ryka narrowed her gaze at the lean wolf, was this wolf transferred from Canyon Pack or what? A barely visible grin crossed her face at the thought. Of course though, she wouldn't dare open her mouth and give a comment like that.
She looked to another female, was this one new? She stayed where she was though beside Takoni, the only wolf other than Storm she kinda knew.

A new voice caught in Takoni's ears, he flicked his tail and glanced to the side, eyeing this newcomer. Where did you come from? He thought silently, not exactly fond of the tone to his voice, it was far too relaxed for a manner like this. He didn't like the wolf's words either, wonderful, this wolf appeared to merely be an omega like the rest of them. Establishing that made him less fearful to voice his opinions. He glanced over to Storm, the alpha's deep, commanding voice ringing in his ears. He pinned his ears frustrated.
"We need to get it out of here Storm, you wouldn't want to put your pack in danger would you?" He challenged, holding his head up high. There it was again, his stubbornness... He held a steady gaze with his alpha's, almost fearing what he would say next. But in all honesty, he would take it, even if he got in trouble for disagreeing with the older wolf, even if there were more wolves on his side to back up his point.

Ryka looked at Takoni, a handsome wolf he was... she stopped her train of thought with the more serious matter at hand. She looked at Storm and spoke up finally. "Storm please, I don't want humans finding our den site, we should keep it as hidden for as long as we can." Something similar to sorrow shone in her dull eyes, remebering past events.

Crescent nodded, and looked up to face her alpha.
"While I can understand you wanting to keep the human pup alive, but it's too dangerous, and we don't want humans finding the den site. For the greater good of the pack..." she let out a snarl. "it's better off dead. And while you're the alpha, Storm, you should listen to your pack."

Takoni listened to Crescent's words, and right she was. He wanted this human disposed of, and quick. If Storm didn't have the guts to kill it, Takoni would gladly step in and finish it off. It may be a pup, but what worsened the subject was that it was a human pup. Even if it was a naked, disgusting creature that seemed helpless, it could still pose a possible threat to the pack. Other humans could already be looking for it, they might already be on their way to the camp, looking down on them from the sky inside their horrid loud sky beasts that pierced a wolf's ears. His thought alone caused him to be fearful, he cast a hesitant glance to the sky.
He went back to look at Storm again, who remained silent for the moment. Perhaps the alpha was considering his pack's words? He shouldn't be so stubborn to assume a human couldn't pose as a threat.

Storm looked from wolf to wolf, giving Comet a grateful nod to the subordinate. He probably needs to be ranked up soon, he thought to himself, appreciating loyal wolves. Turning his gaze back to the others, an angry fire flared in his eyes. Of courses he wanted to protect his pack, but at the same time... gah, he didn't know what to do! Half angry, the other half overwhelmed and confused, Storm stood up tall, giving a viscous snarl at Takoni. Barely having to take a fox length to reach the omega, the angered wolf quickly stood on his hind legs and pinned Takoni down onto the dirt, opening his jaws and putting his sharp teeth over the younger wolve's neck, lightly biting down and showing everyone that he wasn't messing around. He'd teach the females a lesson later, but for now, this arrogant wolf had to be taught a lesson.
"Does anyone else want to object?" He snarled under a mouthful of fur. Most of the pack gave nervous glances to each other, but didn't dare say a word.

Takoni wriggled under Storm's strong grip, what's he doing!? He frantically thought. This isn't how an alpha would treat his pack mates! He mentally shrieked, but showed no nervousness on his face. He joined Storm's gaze, anger seared in the alpha's orange eyes, why was he so angered over something that's obvious? Takoni snarled back, hurting his throat a bit in the process due to the pressure on it.
"Get off me..." He hissed up at Storm in a quite voice. At this point he didn't care if Storm was his alpha and Takoni was merely an omega. This wasn't right. He knew Bison Pack was known for their strength and such, but this was a little far...

Crescent's eyes widened. This wasn't right. Would Storm really do this to a pack mate? She growled, still keeping her head low, fearing his anger. "Get...off...him...." she slowly said. "and if this is how you solve disputes....or anyone disagreeing with you...."

Ryka watched in horror as Storm pinned her friend, "Takoni!" Her eyes darted to Storm, "Storm get off him!" She yipped, agreeing with the other female. 'does this wolf have anger issues?' she thought quietly, careful not to ever say that out loud.

Letting go of Takoni, Storm let out one last snarl. They had a point, and he needed to agree with them. Thinking quickly, he decided that he'd compromise, to an extent. Taking a deep breath, he hoped they would at least agree with this. "The human stays, and we give her care until she is able to walk. After that, I'll take her back to where she was found, understood?" Glancing from the four wolves in front of him to the rest of the pack, he waited for some wolf to speak up.

Surprised by the alpha's outburst, Comet gave a small smile. Pack tension, just what he liked to see. A few moments later, he gave slight dip of his head, showing the he agreed with Storm. "I think that's a reasonable idea," he added, in a calm tone.

Takoni quickly scurried to his paws, shaking out the dust that had worked it's way into his pale pelt. He pinned his ears in more of an enraged way, but refrained from snarling or growling. He made his way over to Ryka again, glancing up at Crescent as he passed her. He wanted to put distance between him and the alpha.
"I still think you're mad for not killing it on the spot, when you first came across it." He mumbled, bearing his teeth, but after that remained silent.
