Crescent glanced up at Takoni, hearing his mumbling and nodding. She disagreed with Storm and Comet - the human would die before she could walk here, and they'd waste time and precious resources on here. It was only logical that they kill her on the spot.....

After a few moments of thinking through what just happened, he gave one last stern look to the pack mates that stood before him. "No one touches the human pup, got that?" he growled. "Or you'll soon be an offering for the Earth-Wolf," Storm added, not playing around. Looking from wolf to wolf, he made a quick and somewhat random decision. "As most of you know, Bison pack is in need of a Healer, and it's finally time to rank a wolf up. Cresent, in the name of the Sky-Wolves, I hereby give you the rank of Bison Pack's Healer. I hope that you'll serve your pack in valiant and honorable ways, even if it costs you your life, and I pray that this decision won't become a mistake."
With that, Storm gave the she-wolf a slight dip of his head and a small smile appeared on his muzzle. "As the healer of this pack, I'd like you to help give herbs to the human pup. Can you do that?" The older wolf sat down, titling his head in a somewhat teasing, yet playful way.

Takoni huffed, deciding not to answer his alpha, nothing could change the older wolf's mind about the naked pup in the center of camp. He shuddered. It would only be a matter of time before it woke up. Who knew what would happen!?
His thoughts took a turn at Storm's sudden announcement. What? She's newer than me! He should have known better, his foolish words would probably have him be held back in the rankings, but Crescent did say the same as him, and they had equal thoughts about the human pup. So then why did she get so suddenly ranked up? The subordinate sighed. He would never have power within this pack, and knew that he would have to cope with what the higher ranked wolves said and decided...

"Fine then. I will serve the pack in every way I can. Thank you, Storm." Crescent dipped her head. No, she wasn't happy her first job as a Healer was on a human pup. But she was happy that she was no longer a subordinate - she was a healer! As grumpy as the wolf may be, she was protective of her pack mates - a healer seemed like an unlikely but oddly natural fit, "I'm not happy about you keeping the human pup here, Storm. But I'll try and take care of it if you make me. But I warn you, none of us know what humans can and can't eat. Something we use to treat pain could kill her." She spoke with a steely, serious glint in her eyes, and a newfound confidence that came with moving up a rank.

Takoni padded over to Crescent's side, lowering his head to be level with hers. "Are you actually going to care for that human pup?" He questioned her, a little interested to see if she would say no. He heard her say that some of our wolf herbs could be toxic to the human, and he thought that would be the best way to kill it. Poison it with their own herbs. Of course though, if Storm found out they were behind it they would be getting into some serious trouble. After all, Storm wanted the thing alive. The old wolf has gone insane. He thought, and looked at the silvery she-wolf in front of him.

Takoni huffed, what she said was true. She didn't exactly have a choice whether to care for the human pup, Storm had authority over her and she couldn't do anything other to listen to the alphas wishes. He dipped his head in understanding, but of course there was still a part of him that wanted the human gone. He looked up at Crescent again, his amber eyes hard. "Good luck then."

Takoni nodded, he watched as she padded away, but then quickly returned with a mouthful of herbs. He glanced behind him, at the human pup who remained unconscious. He wrinkled his nose, the naked things scent had filled the air now, and the subordinate had just now realized. I hope it leaves soon, or I'll be offering myself to the earth-wolf... He narrowed his eyes, knowing there was nothing he could do about it.

Storm sat down and sniffed the odd textured thing that covered the human pup's fur-less body. He knew that Cresent wasn't exactly the healing type, but giving her a higher rank might help her realize how much the pack needs each other. The Alpha watched as she got some herbs and was surprised that she already knew what to get. He gave a small, grateful to the female. Looking to up to the Sky-Wolves, he closed his eyes. Everything would be fine, he was sure of it.

Finally all of that arguing was over. Padding away from the group, he laid down in his patch of sun that was near the edge of camp. Cresent was an odd choice for a healer, but at least it wasn't him that was appointed. What a boring rank, he thought glumly to himself, half closing his eyes, but kept them open just enough to be able to see what was going on.

Takoni didn't exactly know what to do with himself now, none of the wolves were arguing anymore and all oddly silent. The sudden appearance of the human pup today seemed to put everyone on edge. He lazily watched Crescent fiddle with the herbs she had grabbed, he wondered when she would actually approach the pup and begin the attempt to heal it. He closed his eyes for a moment, suddenly feeling overwhelmed with the out of the ordinary event that day. He flicked his ears at the sound of leaving paw steps, but didn't bother to open his eyes...

Crescent shot a death stare at the wolves around her. "Just because I don't like you doesn't mean I won't be a half bad healer." She turned her attention back to the human pup, and the herbs she'd brought. "I'll try the traveling herbs first. They'll renew her strength and we can send her back on her way. That is, if they aren't toxic to her, anyway." She sighed, and set to work.

Ryka flinched at Crescent's action, what did she do to agitate the other female? She didnt really know and just brushed it off, watching as she fumbled with her herbs. anxious to see how the human pup would show react to the herbs.

Storm gave his fur a lick, watching his pack mates start to go back to their daily routines. The human pup would be fine; everyone would be fine. He knew the Earth-Wolf would've taken the human pup by now if she wanted her, so apparently the pup wasn't supposed to go yet. Confidence, fear, and anxiety prickled at his paws and even though he was trying to stay optimistic, the alpha would always fear for the safety of the pack. Maybe this wasn't exactly the right thing to do, but no matter what, he'd always protect them with his life. Besides, they were practically all like family.
