A cool breeze wove its way through the valley of Slough Creek, rustling the dry grasses and swaying the aspen trees. Avikii laid peacefully at the entrance of the Canyon Pack den site, where he watched over his fellow pack mates. Autumn air filled his nose, it would be getting colder soon, and with cold came snow. He shivered at the thought of the cold, white substance. He couldn't stand snow, or cold in general. He'd still have fun in it with the others but he hated the way the freezing sensation found its way up into his paw pads or under his pelt. He closed his eyes, soaking in the last days of late summer.
His peace was broken by a sudden flurry of paw steps. He quickly looked up and spotted Koga, who appeared worried. What could have happened? Or will happen.

Kaiser yawned, standing up as she shook her pelt out. She stretched quickly, trotting over to Avikii and laying down next to him. She sighed, resting her head in her paws, not prepared for the cold.

Koga hurried over to her alpha delicatly, her belly had been hurting on and off and small kicks were being felt on and off during the day. She hadnt ever given birth before and was growing worried, even more scared since relic wasnt around anymore... she sighed... she missed him so much, he wasnt even around for that long... she reached avikii and stopped at him "The pups!" she gasped as she feels another kick

Avikii glanced at Kaiser, who joined him at his side without greeting. Why did she always seem so tired? Was it the pups? He huffed and turned as Koga approached, bringing him back to reality. His ears perked and he almost jumped to his paws at the word 'pups' but refrained from doing so or he would've startled his mate. He faced Kaiser for a moment, eyeing her with a statement that seemed to read, did I hear her right?
The alpha male turned back to koga, who looked awfully afraid over the fact of bearing pups so suddenly. That's when he realized that there wasn't a medicine wolf in the pack yet, the wolf who knew the most about herbs was Koga herself. "Hold on, let me find Broken, follow me Koga." He gave a final glance towards Kaiser before padding quickly to the nursery. Avikii poked his head in, hoping to find Broken inside. Nope. He backed up, and scanned the camp again. Where was she?

302 was just returning from a solo hunt when he began to sense panic. He scurried towards the den site and found Koga in a worried state. What's up with her? He padded over to where the pack kept its fresh prey and dropped a measly hare onto the small pile before padding over to Avikii and the frantic golden wolf. "What's going on?" He openly questioned.

Lightning laid in a warm patch of sun, he raised his head, straining his ears forward to try and make out what was happening.
Arrow laid curled up in her prisoners den, her ears laid back.

she was so scared, she didnt know what to do. She just followed avikii to the den
Kane was close behind, worried for his sis as well, what if she died birthing! he shuddered at that thought

Broken was sitting in a dark spot of camp. She swiveled her ears when she began to hear the panicing she-wolf's cries. She darted forward, at Avikii and Koga's sides in seconds. "What do you need me to do, Avikii?" She wasn't an expert at helping a she-wolf give birth, but she was used to helping back in the day. |

Avikii averted his vision to the white she-wolf. "I think Koga's pups are on their way..." He paused, a little afraid since he had never actually attended a pup birthing, he shuttered slightly. "We don't have a herbalist yet so I was hoping you knew something about this sort of thing." His tail tip twitched, anxious to get this over with, but he very well knew that it was a long process. "So, you think you can help her?" He glanced behind him at the sandy colored she-wolf, who held a fearful expression.

Koga fretted, what if one of her pups died in birth!? she whined, looking to her side at her brother.
kane looked at koga as she did to him. he would be by her the entire time

"Oh.." The she-wolf's heart leaped out of her chest. Her?! Help with Koga's pups?! Well..she was the Caretaker, it was her job to protect the pups at all costs. "Um. Sure, Avikii."
The she-wolf raced away, and returned with some sticks. "Relax, Koga. Lay down. Every time you feel pain, I want you to push,and bite down on this stick, ok? It will be fine, trust me." The she-wolf dropped the sticks at the expecting wolf's paw, her voice stern, yet calm. |

Avikii watched from a distance, he was never a fan of helping out with this kind of thing, but hoped he could get over himself before his pups arrived.

koga felt as though the whole of their territory had rested on her belly. pain came in waves and it hurt more like a wasp sting. soon enough though, two pups lay by her stomach, gently suckling. "awwww" she cooed. "I'll named them kira and kuno" she smiled
