((OOC~ Sick Love listen to it!!!!)) <<>> It was early dawn, the air was crisp and the morning dew remained stuck to every visible leaf or grass blade. Avikii stirred inside the main den, where he and Kaiser slept, and soon their pups. He glanced over at her, a peaceful expression marked her face. He couldn't help but smile. But there was business to take care of.
His eyes narrowed at last nights events. Arrow had tried to escape and it was still undecided if 302 had helped her plan her unsuccessful getaway back to her home territory. He pinned his ears and let out a silent snarl. He made his way out of the den, his first sight was Lightning, who had responsibly watched Arrow through the night. He padded over to his friend and gave a nod of gratitude. "Thank you Lightning." Was all he said before angling his long ears toward Arrow, who remained a mangy lump in her pathetic den. He made his way over to her, a cold fire danced in his gaze. He stopped right outside but with no second thought leaned in and nipped her back. "Get out." He demanded. The towering alpha waited for her to scurry to her paws, dark thoughts clouded his head. When she returns to Bison Pack - if she does. He added that last dark thought. I want Storm to know how fierce and brutal Canyon Pack could really be, and not to mess with them. Sure, most of the pack had less weight on them since they were built for agile jumps and quickness, but their appearance could send an unsuspecting wolf the wrong idea about them. He lashed his tail, hate brewing within his core. Canyon wolves seemed to be sneaky in that way, he wanted every wolf in the Slough Creek valley to know of his packs strength and growing numbers. Yet, he held back his yowl of power, his chaotic thoughts hidden behind a calm blue gaze... <<>> 302, remained asleep within the common den. His dreams were full of scared, but dark images of him fighting with Arrow, a once beloved she-wolf. He shifted, nonexistent eyebrows screwed.. She looked up at him in horror, no, he could hear her slur. The images were blurry and smeared, like ink that had been smudged by an unaware artist. He looked down at her, his own fear reflected in her clouded yellow eyes. His throat felt stiff and swollen, like he couldn't breathe. He advanced on the smaller she-wolf, seemingly unable to control his own actions. The wolf lunged forward, but before the aftermath could be seen, the image went dark, fading away from the corners of his eyes.His eyes flew open, taking in a huge breath of air as he did. So much for remaining asleep. He thought, his dream already fading from his memory... He turned his head slowly, Avikii, Lightning and Arrow were all visible. He watched emotionless as his alpha nipped at Arrow. Nothing could be done. |

Arrow had been awoken multiple times throughout the night. She had started having similar stomach pains for a while now but until now she had assumed it was merely a bit of old meat that she had been eating.
Arrow got to her paws quickly, there was something oddly changed about arrow.
The she wolf no longer had anything tieing her down to Canyon, that she realized when 302 refused to come to her aid. She never attempted escape back earlier because she never had anything pulling her back to Bison. The feeling of never truely knowing love stung her like a thorn.
However she did have a reason to live, if she died, many would fall with her. That she realized...
There was a sass to her step. She would fight with fang and claw until the very end. She looked at Avikii with a glare of pride. She refused to hang her head as if awaiting a death so certain. She would not stand and take in the pain that she once felt she could not evade. She walked past him with a quick step, but her fear had vanished like a leaf carried by the wind. Her tail just hardly passed by his nose, tauntingly. As soon as it was there, it was gone. She sat in the middle of the clearing, her posture straight, her tail curled close and her ears shoved forwards. There was something about her cold gaze that was dauntingly hostile. The she wolf was well nourished, that was obvious. She could most certainly be better, but the canyon treatment she had been given showed. Maybe it showed too well. Had she been over eating? She seemed awfully... Fat. It was not a lot, but there was a bit of a large amount of fat, perhaps it was, around her gut.
Lightning nodded to Avikii. He watched Arrow pass with surprise. She was about to be punished and yet still, she had the decency to act in such a way? Perhaps he would never understand she wolves. Her scoffed under his breath and walked to a spot where Avikii usually stood by for his meetings and laid besides it. Whatever was about to happen, he wanted to watch. He would not be asleep for this.

Avikii scowled as she passed by, stifling a sneeze as her tail lightly brushed his nose. He followed her close behind and gave her another warning nip as she was about to sit down, holding back every urge to taker her on himself. Unlike her he didn't sit down, instead he continued forward until he was in front of the common den, where 302 lay. The alpha should have made him sleep outside, not in warmth. "Come on out you foolish Casanova." He hissed into the den.

302 started at Avikii's sudden appearance. He quickly got up and scurried past his looming alpha. The black wolf made his way over to Arrow, but stopped himself halfway, tail tip twitching. He lifted his head as the fur along his low spine began to prickle. He still couldn't grasp the fact that she had probably never loved him, or even liked him... But she let him... No, he would forget about that unless necessary to bring up... He glared at the she-wolf, but suddenly noticed her gain of weight. When had she been eating more than offered to her? He cast a quick glance to where they kept leftover prey, mostly hares. It didn't appear to be lower than it usually was. He thought for a moment before his earlier thought clicked with this new one. No way...

Avikii kept a harsh, cold blue gaze on 302 as he shamefully passed him. He quietly followed, and made his way in front of the on edge pair.
"You both know why you are here, and what has happened." He took a moment to gather his words, "and I assume you two know that you will be given a punishment." He watched 302's gaze flicker, what was he thinking? His low hanging tail hardly touched the dusty ground before he lifted it in a confident gesture. He was probably too excited to see the results of the punishment, and hopefully 302 could easily get the job done seeing as she was weaker now due to being stowed away within their den site.
That's when the alpha turned to face 302, "listen here, you will be required to... Well, fight Arrow." He provided a toothy grin, pearly white sharp teeth glinted on the early morning sun. "You will continue to rip at her until she gives in, or unless I say so, we don't need her dying on us now... Do we?" His grin held it's place on his muzzle like concrete, his eagerness for 302 to get at the mangy Bison Pack prisoner obviously showing through. "Although we need her alive, do not go easy on her. She needs to learn a lesson, and to send a message back to Bison Pack that we can be more brutal than we appear!" He barked ruthlessly, ears perked and tail remaining high.

302 didn't feel on edge at all, in fact, he almost agreed with what Avikii's punishment had to offer. It may be harsh, but it seemed that it was exactly what the alpha wanted. "My pleasure..." Was his only short response, he turned to Arrow. A flash of a memory made it's way through his mind, when he had first laid eyes upon her, she was flawless. It was hard to image his mind had been changed so quickly by Lightning's simple words. But it would have had to happen eventually. After all, she is, and always will be a Bison Pack wolf...

koga woke early due to all the noise outside she shook out her pelt and looked out the entrance of the den she shared with kane. she was very shocked to see everything
kane woke up as well. looking at what was going on. he pushed past his sis and made his way over to lightning "whats going on??"

(Listen child, a sound so mild. A sound faint in the distance. A cry could be heard. At the sound of a simple word. A shatter of her heart against the ground as she watched in dismay at the sight before her)
Arrow glared at 302, 'Be strong Arrow.' She commanded herself sternly, he didn't care. He didn't love her, despite all odds, he was nothing but the same as the rest. A selfish, stinky, rude canyon wolf.
Her heart shattered into a million pieces as he spoke. Odd that she hasn't realized how sly a shadow could be.
Arrow quickly got to her paws, her mouth foaming with aggression. Her eyes suddenly blazing, "If you dare take a fight with me. I will kill you first." She snarled defencively. She took a protective stance, her body firm. It was obvious despite the injuries and malnutrition she had suffered. After giving her heart out to the canyon wolves to help them with the rouges. She would give every ounce of her being and stand firm. She would not be an easy opponent.
Arrow made no hesitation, "ILL KILL YOU!" She raged, her anger multiplied in a matter of seconds. Tears hung in her eyes, she could not help it. She charged at 302 with a stunning speed. She may be bison, trained and lived in strength and battle. She was still relative to the canyon wolf Lightning which made her still fairly fast. Her light body mass made it easy for her to travel over the ground. She let out an enraged snarrel. It wasn't the same as that when she fought the rouges. It had a deeper tone of threat, a deeper tone of meaning, a sence that she had something to protect. Could it be her pride? No that was lost the day she was captured. Then what could it have been?

Avikii grinned, glade to see that Arrow had no plan to back out of the skirmish. He looked at 302, "signal me in if you need help, although... I doubt you will." He sneered down at the sorry excuse for a Bison Wolf, watching as she blindly charged at 302.

The Casanova was ready, this wasn't the first time he had encountered angry she-wolves, and just like Arrow, they had attacked out of rage, fueled by betrayal. He grinned at his own experience. Seeing as she hadn't planned out her first blow to well, he quickly and easily glided to the side, out of reach from her slashing claws.
"Oh, sweetheart. You're going to have to do better than that." He said in a smooth, low tone. His golden amber eyes were expressionless, but held a sense of confidence, along with his high held tail and strong posture. He wasn't going to let a tricky she-wolf beat him at his own game. He watched her barrel by his side, seemingly caught of guard by his sudden slide to his side. He may not be as big as a Bison Pack wolf, but he didn't need to be. Like most Canyon Pack wolves he had wit and cunning, plenty enough for a small fight, and even better, to beat the opponent... He slowly advanced on Arrow, prepared for any sudden attack. "My sweet, why are you filled with so much sudden rage? This was your fault after all..." He grinned, talking again, in that smooth tone, making himself sound almost hypnotizing. "If you had just stayed with me in camp, none of this would have eve happened. But I see now, you probably never really liked me, after all, I'm just a Casanova, I move from female to female without blinking an eye, and you've already made yourself one of my victims." He said that last part with a bit of sarcasm, no, the females he got with weren't a victims of a crime, maybe a crime of love although, but nothing too horrible.
302 was waiting for her to spring up at him again at this point, his words had probably pushed her over the ledge. A sly grin remained resting upon his face, confidence raced through his veins.

Arrow let out a deeper snarrel at his words, "So you were just playing me?" Her voice carried anger and bitter hate. Her tail lashed side to side as she slowly stalked close enough to him, circling him just slightly. Her words possessed a stabbing pain, so that was really how she saw it. Was that really how she saw it all along? Was that what gave her a sudden insecurity driving her to leave before she was heartbroken?
Arrow watched him with disgust, her ears pinned to her head. "How is this my fault then? Hm, if youre just going to the next best thing?" She let out a haughty scoff the more she thought about it. "Oh what am i kidding! I must be joking myself to think any sensible female would fall to your charms, seeing as you had to stoop so low as to fall at the heels of little ol' me." She snapped, her eyes burned with the sting of the situation. Her eyes gave way to every of her next movements, when she would speak, when she would step, when she would swallow to hold back her voice from shattering. Her eyes showed it all, it was but a matter of who cared enough to look, to see.
She had continued to circle him, spiraling closer. As she came behind him, she spoke softly, "Now shut your disease ridden mouth and fight you coward." She was just close enough to him now, the gap no larger then a coyote between them. She was behind him, so, she figured he would have little time to contemplate when she would strike and where. This meant the best option was from behind, even though she much rather go for his throat.
Arrow lashed out at him, grabbing onto something. She sank her teeth deep into fur, she wasnt sure if she had gone too far and gotten a bite of his flank or something as shallow as his tail. Her aim was his leg. None the less, she didnt plan on letting go. Her teeth stayed burried in deep, she clenched her jaw, driving them further. She knew she would not land many blows and was lucky to get this one, she wanted to make it count. She wanted him to feel her pain.

302, what a sly wolf. Charming any she-wolf to come across him. He didn't bother to say anything back to her, she got his message and he knew she understood now. What he had felt, may have been the most connected he had ever been with a wolf, but it was over. He would always be a Casanova, he would never be able to hold onto any wolf.
Just then he felt a searing pain in his rear leg, he held back a yelp of sheer pain, betting his tongue in the process. He swore he felt the warm liquid sensation of blood rolling down the side of his leg. Without thinking he spun around, Arrow still had her surprisingly strong maw locked onto his leg, and showed no sign of letting go. 302 smashed his teeth into her fur, right behind her head. His sharp teeth pierced right through the skin and he soon tasted the metallic red fluid. He didn't plan on letting go. At least not until she planned to. Now it was a matter of pain tolerance...

Arrow tried to pull away, letting go just slightly in the process, but seeing as she wouldn't be able to get free and keep her grip, she went to close her jaw on his leg again, creating another open and deep wound, her teeth unable to find the same fit where they first had. Arrow growled into his scruff, she felt something that was like blood or his slobber rolling down her thinned coat. Her muzzle twitched just slightly as she held on.
She wished, she wished it was nothing but a miserable misunderstanding. It wasn't. He was just playing her for a good time. A thought crossed her mind. Why did he follow her out there? She shook it off, he was just a Casanova, why would he follow her out. Oh that's right, because she was still a prisoner. However it came across as odd even if she was a prisoner escaping, that most Casanovas could care less. She felt her head begin to spin, he must have pinched a nerve. Arrow wriggled free of his grasp, well, attempted to.
She shook her head side to side. She tried to get loose, she wouldn't, she couldnt give up. Not like this. She couldn't go down, "I cant go down.." she muttered in a whisper mostly to herself. "I have to, for them ..." she murmured under her breath, becoming an even bigger struggle to hold onto. It was obvious she was quickly growing exhausted, but she had determination that just wouldn't let up.

At this point the Casanova held back a whimper, her strong hold on his leg was finally starting to get to him. 302 felt her suddenly attempt to wriggle free. which only made him clamp harder. He didn't know exactly where he was biting her, assuming it was the scruff. He held tight as she thrashed, and eventually slowed down. Was she already getting tired? Or was she pulling a trick? The dark wolf thought as he heard mumbles come from her as she now seemed to be trying less and less to escape. Had she given up?
He took a final effort. Lifting his head a bit and shook her best he could, her weight was about the same as his and it wasn't very easy to gain momentum. He shook her only three times, left to right. Deep down he was still worried for her saftey, but that would never again show on the outside. He had to prove to his alpha that he was worthy of this pack...

Arrow tried hard to grab her footing, to turn around and grab a bite on him, but her thrashing did nothing. She felt helpless. She couldn't give up, she didn't want to, but she may have to.
She wiggled and turned her teeth flashing through the air, hoping they would land a blow. She felt dizzied from being shaken and the loss of blood so close to her head. The back of her neck ached with the pain. She did her best to ignore it. She would not submit. Not this easily. Arrow felt him stop shaking her and grasped her footing. She growled as she twisted her body around so awkwardly she actually managed to score a bite. It was nothing to be quite proud of, her teeth sank into the tip of his ear. She hoped the pain to be just enough for him to release his grip.

Her blow caught him off guard, a fresh notch in his ear stung. It didn't hurt too bad, but the sudden move made him loose his grip as he let out a yip of surprise. He took a few paces back, shaking his head as he did, a few blood droplets sprayed from the fresh wound and more blood held a steady, slow flow down his hind leg. He held his ground, unsure of what to do now other than let out a growl.
Arrow was a touch cookie to crack, he knew she wouldn't be giving up, but by the looks of it, she would be forced to soon. He began to assume if this went on for much longer, Avikii would jump in just to finish the job. The Casanova hoped he wouldn't though, this was his fight, and he could take victory himself.
Those thoughts lead him into his next bound, he lunged for Arrow, making it look like he was going to jump on top her. Instead though, he dove right into her legs, bowling right into, using his body weight to the best of his ability. It was an unusual tactic, but it seemed to work. He rolled onto his paws and remained in a crouching position, waiting...

Soba watched in fear from the den, it felt weird to watch wolves fight again after the rogues had showed. And especially because Avikii made them fight and that they WANTED to fight, he covered his face with his paws.

Arrow growled and was ready for him, but was caught by surprise. She tripped, collapsing ontop of him. Foolish male, she was not very tall, and she was growing heavy. Arrow felt a sharp pain fun through her stomach as she hit the ground. She yowled, despite her position over him. She felt too much a pain in her abdominal area to give any thought to it. Tears she had been holding back since the start of the battle flooded past her eyes. She hated feeling like this, so much contrast in emotion. "Im... Im sorry.." She whimpered, her teeth clenched. Despite her pride, she knew that she... that they could no longer handle it....

He grunted as they collided, giving a huff of discomfort. He felt her wince, something had hurt her, a lot. He had his assumptions but dare not speak them. He slipped out from under her easily, but held back another blow. He didn't want to say he was worried for her, but somehow he was. He shook the thoughts, regaining his stance
302 merely dismissed her words of pity...

Arrow curled up tightly on the ground. Her teeth clenched together. She sat there for nearly a solid minute.
"I can't do this.." She muttered softly, quickly getting to her paws. She looked frantically around, but found she didn't have enough time. Her body lurched and out her mouth came a stream of yellow liquid. It was mostly stomach acid, very little of whatever she had last eaten.
Arrow shook her head, "I cant do this.." She muttered, spitting out the foul taste in her mouth. "You Canyon wolves disgust me."
She shook her head, an odd foreboding almost fell over them, she sounded as if she knew something they didn't.

Avikii stood stiff, watching the scene go down. It was fine at first, but soon it got pretty dark. He watched without reaction to Arrow's regurgitation, he did though wrinkle his nose. He glanced at 302, who seemed to be put on pause. Listening to Arrow's words only proved what he already knew.
"I hope we do..." He replied in a rumbling tone, not common for him. "Like I said before, Canyon Wolves ain't no goody-two-shoes pack, just because we feast on smaller prey doesn't make us any different from any other wolf in this valley." He lifted his head, holding a dominate pose. He didn't care at all what other wolves thought of his pack, they can think what they damn well please. The alpha held a hard, cold gaze with Arrow before speaking again.
"This event is over, throw her back in her measly shack." His tail swept the ground as he held back a snarl.

302 flinched at her action. Something was obviously wrong with her. Whether it was injury or nourishment, he couldn't tell. He just stood there, wishing he could have gotten at her more before Avikii dismissed the fight.

Lightnings fur prickled as he watched the scene go down. There was something odd about the she wolf. He didn't expect her to appear so, weak? That didn't seem like the right term. She looked well fed, but acted as if she hadn't eaten in weeks. She was raging one moment and then suddenly close to caving in the next. This fight left him puzzled, and he wondered what Avikii was thinking as he spoke up. Part of him even feared the alphas mood and debated if he should approach the alpha at this time. However, upon his command, he stood and nipped at Arrows hind, ushering her to her 'den'.
Arrow glared after Avikii. She did not understand him, and she figured she never would. She never once had felt or even seen Canyon as weak. They were formidable opponents. Her words were in such contrast to the words he spoke and could only wonder their purpose to her. She had first-paw experienced their strength with the battle against the rouges. She curled up in her den with a sigh, closing her eyes softly and curling up tightly. She didn't know what to think or feel any longer. She was upset that 302 had not come to her aid, but heartbroken that he had wanted to hurt her as much as her anger drove her to want to hurt him. She took in a breath to hold tears from falling from her eyes once more. She wished she was back with her pack. She wished at least she had someone, someone who at least respected her, not matter if they cared about her. She just wanted to talk. She didn't know what to do. She felt so.. alone.. well almost.
Lightning walked back over towards Avikii, hesitant at first. He looked at him, meeting his eyes, "I have a few concerns, but I don't think that they are all that appropriate for the rest of the wolves to be hearing. Would you mind joining me on a walk perhaps, or just somewhere somewhat away from the general population?" Lightning asked, his tone was level, providing not key to whether he may be angry, sad or even happy. His tone providing no idea to what thoughts lingered in his mind.

after watching Arrow be dismissed, 302 slumped onto his hind quarters. Everything had gone by so fast, he didn't know how to think or react. He just sat there in the drawing morning sun. He watched as Arrow was forced into her 'den' then sighed, figuring at this point he just needed to sleep...

Avikii let out a long breath, closing his eyes slightly as he did. He wasn't too sure if his words made sense or not, but he didn't care too much. Complicated words buzzed in his head and they weren't always easy to vocalize, especially under what he assumed stress was. He flicked and ear in recognition to Lightning's approach.
He ran over what Lightning said, a little confused at first about what he wanted. He'd find out in a moment. "Yes of course." He stated and stood up, stretching his legs a bit before taking a step. "A walk it is then? I could use some fresh dawn air..." He said, and waited for Lightning to catch up.

Arrow tried to drift off to sleep, trying to escape the insanity that was reality. She tossed slightly, shifting a bit to try and get a bit more comfortable, but it was practically useless. She grunted, soft and involuntary, as she shifted once more, trying to sheild her face from the outside world. Perhaps her instinct was at her best intrest. None the less, she despised the consequences of her decision. She regretted every thought of the attempt, now that she had ultimately failed and found that she would die in this camp. They would all die in this camp.
Lightning nodded, quickly catching up to Avikii. Once they were well past the boundaries of the camp, he broke the silence that waded between them, bringing up an awkward tension that dispersed into nothingness at the first sound of his voice. "I wanted to talk to you about the battle that had just happened. I was watching, and found myself too tired to feel any anger or pleasure alone in watching that event go down." Lightning took a brief pause to recollect his thoughts. When he spoke again, his voice was more crisp, it was sharp. He spoke in a way, as if scared to say the wrong thing. He did not want his alpha to follow his train of mind, but instead speak his own. "I suppose you could say I kept a neutral veiw on the battle as it went down. Im not saying that I was hoping 302 and Arrow would win, but instead hoping that neither did." He paused, suddenly unsure if his words were the right ones. He didn't want Avikii to think he had any positive emotion towards Arrow, even if he really did. He took a breath and then continued. "I closely observed the battle and I noticed that Arrow hadn't performed the same as our battle, when we first encountered. She seems the same weight to me... but she performed as if she hadn't eaten in weeks, which isnt entirely true considering we had been giving her a slightly better ration up 'til now." He stared hard at the ground, lost in thought. "Do you think the battle went as we wanted it to? Does 302 seem like he is genuinely loyal to you? Does he seem like he has any affection towards arrow? Was I right to say what I had last night?" He took a pause as he blabbed that question out loud, he felt pitty for 302. He seemed to have had quite a great emotion towards Arrow, especially if his suspicions proved true. He felt guilt wash over him like... like a flood. He knew all too well what that felt like. Had he said it in defence of 302? Had he said that out of protection over Arrow in a way? Had he said that out of anger or spite or envy that even measly 302 was finding love and he wasnt? He took a breath, continuing his flow of questions, " What do you think of Arrow? What about how she performed?" He was especially eager to hear of the Alpha's opinions on that one.
