Storm walked up onto the high boulder and gave a short howl. Tonight, he'd give three of his pack mates official ranks. The moon shone high in the sky, and he assumed that the Full moon gathering wasn't far away. Unfortunately, he'd have to explain to them about the human pup in their den site, in which he knew Avikii would be very happy about. Letting out a sigh, the Alpha waited for his pack.
OOC: since the new rank update, it hasn't been a month, but you guys have waited long enough. After this, the rules will be enforced though.

Takoni perked his ears at Storm's abrupt howl, Could it be? He thought as he jumped to his paws and headed over to the high boulder. He slowed down as he neared Storm, looking up at his alpha as he sat down. He turned his head and looked to see if Ryka or Comet were nearby.

Comet padded to the Alpha, watched intently as the older wolf called together the pack. I wonder if I'll finally be promoted!

Looking at his pack-mates that stood before him, Storm held his head proudly, personally excited to finally get to promote some wolves. Besides, they definitely deserve new ranks. "Today, I call upon our ancestors in that I'm making the right choice to rank up three well respected wolves of Bison Pack. Comet, Takoni, and Ryka, please step forward," Storm called the three wolves forward with a smile upon his muzzle.

Takoni beamed at being called a respected wolf, he proudly took a few more steps forward, keeping his burnt amber gaze upon his alpha. I wonder what rank I'll get... He thought. Hopefully not hunter, anything but that, I can hunt on my own time. He added to his own thoughts, waiting for his alpha to speak. Maybe I'll be a lead warrior, or even a spy! It was hard for him to keep his mind from buzzing with excited thoughts as he patiently waited.

"These wolves have waited a long while to earn there true ranks, and now, as a sign of hard earned work they have earned it," Storm barked. Bison pack was growing smaller and smaller because of the recent wave of greencough, and now some females who've lost their pups were in great distress. "Takoni and Comet, you will be given the ranks of Warriors. May you serve your pack with honor and valor in battle," he started. Turning to Ryka, he gave a soft smile to the she-wolf. "Ryka, you will be given the rank of a Scout. I hope that you serve your pack with that clever mind of yours," with that, Storm gave a dip of his head to the newly ranked wolves and jumped off the high boulder.

Ryka looked up, her tail wagged. Wow! A scout? She was happy with her rank and knew she would prove herself well. "Thank you Storm!" She said to him.

Takoni paused for a moment, then everything processed. He gave a sigh of relief at not being appointed to hunter and perked up to look at Storm up on the boulder. He didn't say thank you though, out of silent respect he dipped his head instead. He glanced over to Comet, who was a warrior as well. Nice, I'll have a partner out on patrols and missions. He thought to himself with a slight smile.
