Listening to Avikii, he wasn't surprised that the other Alpha didn't say anything about Arrow. Wouldn't want to start a riot. He knew that when Avikii talked about births he was implying the Bison she-wolf and her pups, and even though he was angry about not having those pups to grow and thrive on Bison territory, it was his decision that cost him the lives. As much as he wanted Arrow and her pups back home, he couldn't let Avikii get what he wanted, especially not now. Stepping forward, Storm started off easy by stating the obvious. "Bison pack is thriving with the abundant elk and bison herds that pass through out territory, nothing to report about that," he barked, not mentioning that their numbers were dwindling.
Now for the hard part. "We also have... a visitor in our densite," he added, starting to regret even mentioning anything. Still standing up with his usual pride, he tried not to cower behind ever ones curious and suspicious glares. "A human pup has been taking refuge in our camp. She is in a critical state and I assure you, she is of no threat," Storm stopped there, letting out a sigh and praying to the Sky-Wolves that no fights started.

Storm's words buried their way into his ears, making his fur stand on end immediately. "What!?" He barked in anger, yet fear as well. A human pup in the valley? What is this wolf insane? Avikii pinned his ears, bearing his teeth only slightly and backed up a little bit. "Storm, do you have any idea how dangerous that is? Even if you claim this human isn't a threat, have you considered what might come looking for it?" He stated in a worried tone mixed with irritation.
Avikii glanced down at the crowd of wolves, seeing a few spike up with fear as well. The alpha turned back to Storm, "have you!?" He yipped in a demanding tone. Avikii wouldn't dare start a fight over this, but such a topic was so absurd to even comprehend.

Takoni just listened, he had grown used to the human pups presence, and wasn't as surprised as the rest of the wolves...

Lightnings eyes shot wide. Since when had, over all the rules, taking in or even approaching a human pup, was that okay? So many things could go wrong! Storm could not prove for a fact the human would not turn on them suddenly. There was no telling who would come for the human pup. There was nothing more dangerous then a human pup, not even a bear cub, and yet Storm welcomed it with open paws into his pack?
Lightning found it difficult to wrap his thoughts around the situation. Was Storms intention to use the pup against them somehow? Why else would he even care about the measly naked thing? He shook his pelt, his eyes remained narrowed, he would never understand that alpha.
Lightning turned to one of his packmates and murmured, "So he will willingly give up one of his packmates, those of his own species, yet welcomely take in the largest threat known to us, no matter how weak it may seem?" Lightning merely scoffed with disgust. The leader seemed to be going insane if he were to think any of this logical or even have the decency to call it 'okay'

Ryka looked at Storm. She was a little surprised to hear him mention the human pup, but wasn't surprised by all the reactions. She looked over to a canyon wolf that spoke up, he mentioned Arrow. she kept her mouth shut though.

Looking to his Bison wolves, he was glad that they were handling this so well. Turning to Avikii, he knew why the leader was distressed, but had a hard time figuring out how to explain it all. "Well, I don't know why you're concerned. If humans did come, then you have enough wolves to fend them off," he retorted. "Unless you're too weak to fight creature like them?" he added with a sneer, starting to get annoyed and at this point, it was too late to discuss for it was already done.

"No, not at all, Canyon Pack wolves are strong, thank you for asking." He replied slyly, his gaze stiff but a grin rested upon his muzzle, "but humans?" The dark coated alpha scoffed, "one hit from those things they carry around and it's lights out, no wolf, not even a Bison Pack wolf can compete with their strange ways of fighting." He hissed, irritated that Storm brought that up. Could he not see how much of a threat he put on the packs? Even rogues? I swear this lug is more foolish than coyote chasing a beetle. He shook his head, seeing that his words wouldn't make it through the alpha's head.
"I say you get rid of it, if the humans actually cared for it, the thing wouldn't have been lost in the forest in the first place." He added blandly.

Lightning agreed with his alpha. It was not only a waste of resources, but there was still no telling if perhaps it had just wandered astray like a pup wanting to escape from camp. He couldn't not manage to force his pelt to settle, the minute he could, it would just stand on end again at the next murmur. Humans were to be feared, if the bison pack alpha could not realize it, then bison pack were to be what they live up to. Not very smart. Humans had those long silver sticks with pebbles that could kill a wolf, they had sharp short sticks that could cut through flesh quicker then any claw or fang could. His pelt crawled with the thought of trying to fight off such a weak opponent but still have no hope of winning. Those hairless animals were far worse then a bear, they didn't even kill for food or even to protect their young, but instead for no reason. He would never understand them, and perhaps that's what he feared most out of them, that he would never understand them.

Okami sat with the other Canyon wolves. She listened carefully, mulling over each word until Storm spoke.
Human...pup?
She had only met a human once before, an adult male that used a small black odd shaped thing. It made huge booms and it shot out fast pellets that could kill a wolf. Without thinking, she sprang to her paws, eyes blazing but said nothing.
Storm's insane! Taking in such a dangerous and useless thing? Who knows what will try to take it back?

"I agree with Avikii." Crescent raised her head, glaring at all the wolves around her. "I told Storm once and I'll say it again, it was a stupid idea and a waste of resources. But I have no choice but to obey my alpha. As the pack Healer, I can say it has been getting stronger by the day, though she's still weak. Once she's strong enough, we'll send her back."

Lightning listened, he was caught by surprise yet again. The female healer had no place in announcing such a thing. It would only make worse the current situation as well her own. It could even perhaps be used against Bison. Lightnings fur bristled, he would go and kill the human pup even if it meant his imprisonment or death along the way.

"Sorry, but it's too late to go back. She is healing faster than we thought she would and soon we'll take her back where we found her, or maybe bring her to the Upland Meadows where humans are sometimes seen riding those weird beasts," he replied to Avikii calmly. He could hear the murmurers of wolves from his pack and Canyon Pack and knew that none of them were really "okay" with the idea. "I think we are done here," Storm added, giving a dip of his head and padding off the hill. "Bison Pack, let's go," he barked and padded out of the gathering, his head held high. At this point, he didn't care what Avikii or Canyon Pack wolves thought of him, and quite frankly, it made life much simpler. Besides, with his plan to get Arrow back, the other Alpha might end up hating him even more, so in the end, their friendship didn't matter.

Avikii didn't reply to the Bison Pack alpha, he merely glared after him, flicking his tail in irritation. Watching as Bison Pack left, he wondered why Storm never took the advice from his pack, it seemed that a lot of them still disagreed with him. The alpha shook away the thought, now turning to face his own pack. "Let's get out of here, it's been a strange night and I'm eager to get away from that mange-ridden pack." He boomed, blue eyes scanning the remaining wolves. He was hoping for a nice gathering, but after the Lone Tree visit he knew that wouldn't be happening, even if there was still a small flicker of hope.
The male jumped off the small sloped hill, padding to his pack. He flicked an ear, in a way to inform them all to follow. Avikii slowly made his way forward, heading in the direction of their den site. Storm had been acting rather strange lately, in a violent way in fact. Always seeming to want to get in trouble with Canyon Pack wolves, or in this case, with humans. Avikii still knew he was crazy to willingly place a human near his pack, perhaps his growing age was causing him to do stranger things.

"Storm," he said, hoping to grab the older wolf's attention. "About tonight, our plan..." He began to talk in a more hushed voice, and cast a quick assuring glance around to make sure no Canyon Pack wolves would be listening.
"We're going to follow Canyon Pack, no?" He asked, making sure he still knew the basis of their original plot.

Lightning shook his head, just watch, those bare and bald fur-less fox-hearts called humans would kill great numbers because of Storms decision. He would lead them straight to the packs. And just like a mother bear, they would act, they would think they were about to bring harm to their young... His tail lashed, storm had no right to do so. He endangered both packs and that was a decision that should have been made by them both. Lightning glanced at Avikii and wondered if he wanted to send off a group of spies to slaughter the trouble before it got out of control.
