Like Fading Stars [Closed]

Walking through the moor, Titan kept his head high and eyes alert. The night had been peaceful, like most nights and the dominant male needed time to think some things over. Recently, Lily, his pup ran away after he'd killed her brother, who needed to be disposed of, and no matter what it took, Titan was going to find that little piece of crow-food and teach her a lesson. He knew that she ran because of what he did, but that was running from your problems wasn't always the way to go. Her older brother, Perro had defied his laws, and that was all there was to it. Continuing to walk across the grassland and check for anything out of the ordinary, Titan stopped when an unfamiliar scent hit his nose. A loner.

Raising his hackles and pinning his ears back, the large wolf slowed his pace and slunk forward. Among the loner scent was the scent of freshkill, and he'd teach the stranger who ruled these parts. Crouching low to the ground, he came in sight of the loner, who seemed to be enjoying a meal. It was his job to chase these packless wolves out, but examining the wolf, he could tell that she was of no threat, and chasing her out would be a waste of his time and energy. Giving his fur a shake, he decided to go check out the wolf and make sure there weren't others of her kind around and waiting to ambush him.

"Enjoying the view?" he barked calmly, walking up beside the she-wolf. There was no emotion on his muzzle, and he spoke without looking to the she-wolf, but instead up at the dim lighted sky.

Feeling oddly calm around the loner, Titan sat down. Well, at least she wasn't a pack wolves. Loners kept to themselves, and he was perfectly fine with that, unless they ate his food, then he'd teach them a lesson. "You're a loner I presume? You're pretty close to rouge territory," he pointed out, making sure she knew where she was.
