Swift slowly sat up getting to her paws, she sniffled slightly, her eyes on the ground. Despite his kindness and his tone, she still felt quite embarrassed. Her ears remained flopped back, her eyes on the ground. She kept silent as she tried to slow her flow of tears miserably.

Hediki smiled, "Come on! We have a hare to snatch!" He reminded her, hoping to bring her spirits up and remind her of the fun game they had planned. He turned around slightly, eyeing the hare remains he had seen before. Turning back to Swift, he waited for her to say something back, and hopefully feel slightly more encouraged to continue playing.

Swift sniffled slightly, she looked up at Hediki and then nodded. She dried her tears and stood up, taking a few bounds towards the prey pile. No different then most pups, she was quick to shake off negative emotions.

Arrow looked down at her dark black pup, the bundle of fur looked just like her father. She smiled and licked the top of her head with a smile. She didn't mind at all that she didn't want to go out, and a selfish part of her didn't want her to. She knew she should encourage being social, but she enjoyed the small pups company and knowledge that she was safe by her side.

Hediki smiled, happy to see her up for the task again. The young male quickly followed her towards the pile in a flurry of peppy leaps, landing rather heavily beside her. He leaned in and slowly nipped at the hare before dragging it from the clump of other left over prey. "Let's head back over to Mari and pretend to hunt, and maybe Jetta will want to play too!" He told her, bringing up the original plan and his sibling.

Lily let out a sigh. There was no communicating with Cieko, was there? Sitting down in her spot, she decided to watch and wait. So far, some wolf was getting the other pups worked up over catching a hare; like they'd ever really catch one. Her attention soon turned over to the wolf they call Swift, who was clumsy on her paws and slipped. Lily could see tears in the older wolf's eyes, and couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Being a rouge at heart, she knew that if any wolf cried they'd be dead, so seeing weak wolves like this made her happy that no one got in trouble. Also because seeing that she-wolf fall was pretty hilarious in itself.

Swift looked at Hediki, everyone seemed so excited to play his game, she felt a bit jealous that they all wanted to play his game. She hadn't made up a game, but she could have, but the others wouldnt have wanted to play. She shook out her pelt, frowning only slightly as she watched two other pups bound in their direction.
Ceiko looked at Lily, "Whats so funny?" He asked her softly. His voice was gentle, it was somewhat scratchy, as if he had a sore throat almost. It was the kind of voice that made you feel as you should pity them because you would expect they had a disease or horrible injury or mutation. Despite this there was a tone to his voice that just made you feel as though everything you say would be safe with him. His eyes sparkled with every ounce of the afternoon light, innocent as could be. He was some wolf you felt you could tell anything to, to trust your secrets to, that you could feel safe around...

Hediki placed the hare remains on the ground, quickly retreated back a few paces. He glared at the tattered prey, dropping into a crouch, his hind waving in the air. "Watch me catch it!" He hissed quietly, a small grin forming across his muzzle. In a flash of dark fur the little pup lept forward, paws sprawling. He hit the dusty ground right beside the rabbit, his paws tangling with each other, slipping to the side of his flank, which hit the ground. He squeezed his eyes shut, smiling. He may have hit the ground rather ungracefully, but a mangled hare ear was held between his tiny jaws.
The little pup was more than proud. Still laying on the ground in an awkward postilion, he looked up at Swift, Mari, Kuno and Kira. "You guys try! We gotta take it down together or it'll get away!" He yipped through the hare's ear.

Swift smirked, she was up for the challenge. Even if the hare wasn't alive, at least it could be good practice. She couldn't wait til her first day out of camp, she would be the first to catch a hare out of them all. She leapt at the hare, pouncing on it, a loud crack could be heard as she landed on its back. Swift yelped and leapt back, suddenly scared at what that odd crunching noise was.

Hediki eyed her, cocking a brow as he rolled over and released his grip on the hare's ear. "What?" He questioned her, tilting his head as he did. "Even DEAD things have bones!" He smiled, chuckling a little bit at her sudden slight fear.
This gave him an idea, "I know! Let's see how many of it's bones he can smash... I call it's head bone!" He jeered, unsure of the actual term. Hediki pounced at the thing again, yet still landing a little ways off from the actual target. He seemed to just not be able to get it right. He didn't mind though, he simply pawed at its head from a distance, hoping that it's 'head bone' would end up broken. He really had no idea what he was doing, just simply enjoying the bliss and freedom of being a pup, a playful one at that.

Swift cringed at the slight cracking noises, she noticed that out from the side, a small splinter of bone had drawn blood to its fur. She worried that they wouldnt be able to eat it if he did that "Wait! Stop you made it bleed!" she yelped at Hediki. She looked at it, she could only imagine the pain it would have if they had landed on it like that and sent it into a slow or even quick and painful death. Her ears laid back, suddenly growing unsure about having to hunt.

Hediki paused, frozen with wide green eyes. He thought he got in trouble for a moment before hearing what Swift had to say. "But it's food, we're going to eat it anyways, right?" He asked her, doubting they would get into trouble for a measly hare. Yet, he listened to her, ending his terror of pawing at the mangled prey. He flopped over, getting to his paws.

Swift shook her pelt, she didn't want to seem like such a whiny wimpy pup. "Well it most certainly would be harder to eat considering you now have to pick out all the splintered bones," she said, her sass hiding her innermost attitudes and feelings. She looked at Hediki, a bit of a sharp sass glinted in her eyes, shielding all else beneath.

He only grinned up at her from his laying position, "how do you know? There's not a lot of them, plus you were the one that splintered it." He pointed out, the pups tail swaying back and forth. Her sass was obvious, and he kinda liked it. The way she seemed to somewhat use it to cover her thoughts.
"And well, it's still gonna taste the same." He quickly added.
