A Day for the Pups (OPEN) [Finished]

Elpis  gave her a little nudge. "We can start up a game of tag and see how many we can get to join in. It'll help us to learn how to keep track of multiple prey and wolves because we''l have to get each other, so I'm sure the adults won't think we're being too childish. Just follow my lead." 

Mari looked over at Ryka and Elpis " Oh! Hi!" She said happily, getting into her paws and trotting over, her tail wagging slightly behind her. " And, oh, um sure?" She said, slightly unsure as she tilted her head to the side a bit.

" Hi Elpis." She said, sitting down across from them before nodding. " Yup, that's me!"

Kira looked at kuno and followed him ovee to the others, "oooo tag! Can we play too?" she asked with a hopful sound

kira wagged her tail rapidly, "yes!" she cheered and a big smile spread across her face.

Hediki grinned, "so? You couldn't protect it! An alpha always has to keep their food!" He informed Swift, straining his neck to nimble at the hare again, but this time more playfully. "Protect the hare from me!" He told her, creating a new game between the two of them, and completely oblivious to the tag game that was starting up.

302 let out a short, quiet sigh, "listen, I know I was probably the biggest hare-brain ever." He began, noting the pups still playing with the hare. "But the least I can do if help you while your still here, even thought it won't ever be the same... Do you want a bite to eat?" He finally asked her, getting to the point, but leaving out the pups. He dearly wanted to play with them, to get to know them. He cast one final glance back at them before keeping his golden gaze set on Arrow.

((OOC~ Awh man this got sad quick, even considering that the pups are happy and playing aha))

Hediki chuckled, not really seeing her violent efforts towards him, but rather seeing it as an even more fun game. "Grrr..!" He play growled, when a relatively hard nip caught his attention. "Hey! That hurt!" He whined, still tussling with her on the dusty ground.

302 kept his ears angled to the side, the pups mischief could be slightly heard. He glanced back at Arrow, yet he half listened to her through the playing pups. "Yes, I know, that's why I came over here, but like I said before, I can at least be helpful." He eyed her, then stole a glance at the pups. He couldn't tell that what they were doing could be violent, he just saw them as happily playing. "One more thing, why I came over. Can I at least play with my own offspring? Broken lets me, could you?" He asked her, his golden gaze holding a small sparkle of hope.

Hediki rolled, her nips were starting to hurt again. "Okay okay!" He whimpered, "you're alpha! You're alpha!" He yipped at her, green eyes holding a sign of slight worry that she was hurting him on purpose just because he had taken a bite from the hare first. What was the big deal? He thought and he tried to wriggle away from her tiny body.

302 was beginning to feel quite fed up, he wouldn't let Arrow tell him what to do, ever. "Fine then, I'm alright with that. Although, I'm sure you're very familiar with how sneaky I can be, and how observant as well." His tail flicked back and forth yet a calm expression remained on his face. "Maybe you should learn to check in with your offspring more often, have you been keeping an eye on them? I sure have." He added, angling his ears toward Hediki, who was pretty much getting beat up by a she-wolf. "While you're at it, maybe teach Hediki over there how to properly defend himself." The Casanova finished, turning his back on her and padding away with his tail high, a slick grin plastered to his muzzle.

Swift stepped back a few paces, glaring at him. She hasn't had pure intentions of doing so, but she presented the sharp and reinforcing behaviors her father did in a sense. She took after him slightly in trying to enforce her place with that little tussle. However another half of her would eternally feel the need to continuously prove herself, to prove her loyalty even when she is most secure in the pack and especially when she is most trusted. She would never dare break any bond with her pack ever, and this odd emotion, this odd feeling, would be forever unexplainable. Her tail snapped back and forth, and a part of that little fight, had purpose or even a possible foreshadowing to the future. She snatched up the hare, dragging it by the ears to another location to eat by herself. She wouldn't manage to eat it all by herself but she would try if it meant she didn't have to share with hediki after being cheated out of first bite.Swift glanced at Mari, "Its.. Its uhm.. do you want to share this hare with me? I won it in a battle against hediki" she half lied. It was true that she battled hediki and taken the hare, however that was never the true prize of their skirmish.

Arrow felt her gut tighten at 302s words. She knew that their bond had long been severed but she had tried so hard to believe it wasn't true. She had wished somewhere deep down perhaps he had cared and he would have chased her into bison, and with the help of her escape, he could have been accepted as bison, and lived happily in bison. However she knew it wouldn't happen, so she had left, alone. She had hoped her pups would have been born in bison, they would be safe there. She glanced at hediki. A moments talk and his fur lay in shreds on the ground. Her head spun, perhaps she wasn't cut out for any of this. Life, pups, everything. "Hediki!" She called to him. She wanted to ask him about what had happened, however her head was already spinning over what had just happened now and days past.
