He watched her for a moment, wondering how she had assumed all that, especially when she was right. Malikai shrugged it off though, and followed her over to the dead cougar. He stopped at its neck and leaned over to grab the things scruff.

Ashen held his gaze for a minute before shaking her head, trotting over next to him and picking up another part of the carcass.

She nodded a bit as she tilted her head a bit, following him north as she looked around the best she could. " Where are we going?" She mumbled through the fur.

" That's elaborate." She mumbled, rolling her eyes a bit. " Obviously, were taking it to your tribe. I meant where's the tribe at?" She asked, rephrasing her previous question as she readjusted her grip on the cougar, continuing to follow him.

He glanced back at the she-wolf, keeping a firm grip on his kill. "We're all over the place, without a set den site or whatever those packs have, we come and go as we please." He replied, looking forward again as an incline slowly increased, but not by much. He knew where Titan must be, they set up a place to stay for a short while then move, like nomads.

Malikai couldn't help but chuckle, "There's not a lot of us yet, therefore it would be hard to leave without some wolf noticing another was missing." He told her, still amused with her first comment.
He continued trotting forward, the limp cougar making his jaw a bit sore. Thankfully they were almost there. He lead her over a small rise, where the rest of the tribe was no visible. He made his way over to his tribe mates, making sure Ashen was close behind and still holding the cougar, he lead her to the edge of a small clearing. He waited for her to drop the prey first.

She smiled a bit, hearing him chuckle. " Did my question amuse you?" She asked, chuckling softly herself. She looked around as the entered the tribe area, following him over until he stopped, watching him as she dropped her side of the cougar.

He nodded, a small smile forming to his muzzle. "Sure did." He said after neatly placing down the side of the cougar he had been carrying. The assassin flexed his jaw, it was sore from carrying such a heavy piece of kill.

She smiled a bit " Good. That was my goal." She said, somewhat jokingly. She opened her mouth a bit, hearing her jaw pop before closing it again as she looked around the area.
