Avikii stood atop the well-known alphas den, letting the cool, crisp autumn air ruffle his thick coat. Today he would be ranking up the rogue pup he took into the pack, Lily. The lean alpha lifted his muzzle to the air and let out a short howl, calling together the pack and most importantly the wolf receiving the rank.
He stopped the howl, and quickly looked down and scanned the crowd of gathering wolves.

Ceiko lifted his ears at the sound of a howl. He knew it was directed more for the older wolves, Omegas, Subs and up, however curiosity got the best of him as he climbed out of his nest and headed to the entrance of the den. He glanced around with pale blue eyes as wolves slowly emerged from their dens early that morning.

Lightning was already awake, he knew what the howl was for and took a place to sit besides his Alpha. He scanned the clearing, the first he saw to emerge was Cieko.

Swift grumbled, tossing in her nest, "Now of all the times, did father really have to make an announcement?" She grumbled irritable. She shifted onto her other side, trying to get comfortable and drift back to sleep where she could dance with peaceful dreams without a care in the world.

Lily padded out of the pup den and gave her hind legs a stretch. The pup den was becoming a bit small for her, and hearing Avikii's howl, she perked her ears. What in the Sky-Wolve's names could the alpha want after all that'd been going on? Shrugging her shoulders, she deciding not to say a word, knowing that with her being a rouge she had no place in asking questions about what Avikii did. Making her way to the crowd of wolves, she sat near the front so she'd be able to see and looked up to the older wolf with wide eyes.

Seeing that the once rogue pup had arrived, Avikii decided to begin. "Lily," he paused, watching her for an expression change. "Please step forward." He said, a welcoming smile pressed to his muzzle.

Lily stepped forward with her head held tall, not very surprised that she was most likely being ranked up. It was about time that she became a Subordinate and she honestly couldn't wait to get out of the pup den. Looking up at Avikii, her emotions didn't waver as she waited for her father figure to speak again.

Avikii eyed her for a moment, questioning the young she-wolf's attitude and seriousness. He brushed it off though, somewhat glad she was maturing so quickly. "You have certainly reached the age of a subordinate, so it's obviously time to become one." He held her gaze, keeping a smooth yet dominate tone.
"Lily, from this day forth until you receive and official rank, you will be known as a subordinate." He paused, waiting to see if any wolf would say anything. "Older wolves will teach you proper ways to hunt and fight, and soon enough you'll grow stronger with every passing day." He concluded, dipping his head just slightly in a way of congratulation.

"Thank you," the newly named Subordinate said with a small smile growing on her muzzle. She was overjoyed that Avikii had trusted and accepted her enough to rank her up and was ready to prove to everyone that she would be a great pack mate.
