Another day, another ceremony, Canyon Pack was yet still growing, but this time in age. Avikii made his way to the alpha den, where he perched himself for announcements. The alpha gave a powerful bound onto the pile of neatly placed rocks, giving a short howl into the crisp air.
He cut the howl short to get a glimpse of the gathering wolves.

Elpis perked her ears and directed her attention to the alpha. She quietly made her way over to the gathering site and waited to hear more.

Avikii spotted the older pup in the crowd, Elpis. He cast her a warm smile before continuing. "Elpis, please step forward." He beckonded with a flick of his tail.

A little nervous as to what the situation would uphold, Elpis was hesitant to approach, but most certainly would not be defiant to her alpha. She stood once more, and her tail fell between her legs. Catching his glare, a warm smile, she assumed her own. He wouldn't be smiling if it was bad. She thought. I can always trust his smile.

Avikii watched as she nervously approached, "don't worry, you're not in trouble. In fact, this is much better than not being in trouble." He advised her in a light tone. He turned back to the slowly gathering crowd, "today, Elpis will be ranking up to Subordinate." He boomed in a proud tone, wanting the wolves to know how their pack was growing.

"Elpis," He said her name again in a warm tone, making sure she was paying attention. "From this day forth until you receive an official rank, you will be seen as a subordinate. Serve your pack well, and always take the advise of older wolves." He dipped his head slightly, as a sign of respect towards her new rank.
