Clover has been pregnant with Fire's pups for a while now, and so every day it was getting harder to hunt as the Lead Hunter. She still organized patrols of curse but she never went on them. Currently she was sunning herself in the camp, close by the nursery when she felt an extremely sharp pain, something Dream had described but she wasn't sure that it was supposed to be that painful. When Fenyang and Luna were born Bone and Fleet, the other two pups, had died. She hoped that her pups were born stillborn. She got up with extreme difficulty and managed to pad to Storm's den where she panted, almost collapsing from the pain. "S-storm.. T-he pups a-are coming.." She managed to bark out in pain.

Takoni looked up from his peaceful spot beside the roots of the alpha's den, he had watched Clover pad past him with a rather pain-hidden expression. He tilted his head, continuing to watch as she spoke with Storm. This grabbed his attention. The pale, black streaked male got to his paws, making his way over to clover and the alpha.
"Hey, what's going on?" He asked as he neared the pair of wolves, glancing between them as he spoke.

Takoni angled his ears toward Clover, "Oh," was all he said at first, then glanced up to look at Storm. "I think, Storm's buy, talk to Kyro, he’s the healer and he’ll help you. After all, that’s what his rank is meant for." Takoni stated, making sure Clover knew which wolf would know what they were doing in aiding her.

Kyro stood over her for a moment, and noted how her breathing was pretty rough. He moved a paw over her belly, feeling for the pups, "there had to be at least two" he said, hoping to make her feel a little more relaxed. He looked up at Takoni who stayed back. "Takoni! Get me a stick! A thick one!" He called. He turned to gather what herbs were needed, pushing them towards Clover. "Eat these."

Takoni looked up from fumbling with the dirt at the sound of Kyro's voice, a stick? He thought, shrugging. He got to his paws any way though, and began to nose around for a decently sized stick.
At the edge of their den site he noticed a few sticks laying about, most of them were short or broken, but one was much larger than the rest. HE approached them, grabbed the thickest stick between his firm jaws, and turned around to trot back over to the den where Kyro and Clover were. "Here," the male alerted, dropping the stick by Clover's muzzle. "I'm guessing that Kyro needs you to bite on it, to help the pain."

Clover nodded and ate the bitter herbs ignoring the taste. The she wolf herself had a small bit of herb knowledge and had helped Dream give birth to Fenyang and Luna and her two stillborn pups Bone and Fleet. She had even tended to Arrows wounds after she had killed Midnight. She bit down on the stick and pushed. Out came a pup, black as night. She smiled and pushed again and this time a snow white pup was born. None of them had Fire's brownish red and white color or her brownish cream color. She nipped the sacs on the pups but what she didn't notice was that the pool of blood she had pushed out with the pups. " I s-shall name the b-black one Phantom, and t-the white o-one Ivory." She said. She still hadn't noticed the large pool of blood still going for she was far to exhausted and longed to close her eyes. " I'm j-just gonna close m-my eyes and rest.." She said not knowing if she did she'd die.

It happened faster than Kyro would have thought. He tried his best to help, nudge the pups to their mothers belly. It took him a while but he finally noticed the pool of blood, he yelped in surprise. What do I do!? He fretted, completely strucken with fear and unknowing of Clover's dying state.

As her breathing grew more and more labored the she wolfs eyes got heavier and heavier. They got so heavy that she closed her eyes and her breathing stopped.

Kyro was so busy trying to figure out what to do with the blood that he didn't even realize Clover had stopped breathing alltogether... He looked up to see her motionless body, and her pups depratly suckling. "Clover!"

The black pup whimpered and snuggled closer to her sister. Phantom let out a little growl when a loud sound was heard.
The white pup snuggled up to her sister as well. Ivory let out a little squeak.

Kyro looked at the two pups, his expression mortified. "What have I done, my first job as a healer and I let a wolf die!" He wailed, "Storm will never forgive me..." he mumbled, fearful of what the alpha would say.
