The quick sound of pawsteps could soon be heard as a young pup chased after a small mouse that had the bad luck to walk right into her mother’s den only a couple of seconds ago. Laughing as she tried to catch it, the small she-wolf kept her head low, focusing only on her goal of catching the small rodent. That probably being the reason of why Sayen soon found her way blocked by a tree, crashing head first against it as the mouse quickly used a small hole at its base to escape it’s persecutor. Sayen stumbled backwards before tripping with her own paws, falling on the soft grass with a small headache “Ow…I’m fine….” Her words were barely above a whisper and not exactly directed to anyone in particular.

Kyro padded into the camp from a lone patrol, no scents of anything and he didn't snatch up any prey on the way. He noticed a pup playing around the nursery, he sat down and watched her for a moment, before flinching as she hit her head on the tree that the alpha den is.

Sayen got up rather clumsily, shaking her head to get rid of the small headache left by the hit against the tree, before noticing that she was being watched. Her eyes went from the tree to Kyro, a subordinate she had seen around a couple times before but never talked to. She shuffled her paws with a nervous laugh, lowering her ears “You…uh…saw that?” Her voice reflected her embarrassment, knowing that she probably looked ridiculous only a couple of seconds ago, and just hoped that he wouldn’t make fun of that.

Kyro nodded, a small smile on his face. "I did," he told her, just in case his nod wasn't enough to convince her. "You sure are energetic." He said.

“O-oh…” Sayen looked at her paws and giggled nervously, but Kyro’s words managed to make her smile and feel less embarrassed “I just thought I could catch it, like the grown-ups can catch elks and bison!” Her barks went from embarrassed to energetic and hopeful as her mind worked to give her an image of herself in the future, hunting down all kinds of big prey with the rest of the pack.
