An Unexpected Guest (OPEN PATROL) [FINISHED]

The tall male paused for a moment, watching as she grabbed her catches. "Pretty name," he complimented before sharing his own name. "I'm Avikii, the alpha male of Canyon Pack, the owner of the territory you just walked into." He informed her, seeing as she seemed to not know.

At the sound of more approaching paw steps he looked over to see Soba, noticing that Elpis had stayed back. He held back a chuckle at Soba's attempt to mock his smirk, then proceeded to introduce Leafa to them. "This here is Soba, he'll be ranking up soon to an Official Rank." He told her, and half reminding Soba. Now he turned to look over his shoulder, at the grey she-wolf a couple paces back. "And that back there is Elpis, she's a subordinate as well." He commented before swiveling his head to face the golden female.

Leafa dipped her head slightly at each of them.
"Hmm, didn't realize I tangled with the alpha," Leafa let out a small laugh of amusement.

Avikii glanced at Elpis, his ear flicking in response to her quote. "Elpis, relax. I'm in control." He said firmly. If this loner proved to be a good addition to the pack, good. If not, she'd be gone quicker than a crack of lightning, he thought.

He turned back to face Leafa, "Perhaps I should show you where our den site is located, follow me." He said, flicking his tail in gesture to move forward. Their patrol may have gotten cut short, but they gained a member and happened to get prey, even if it was a once loner who had caught it.

Elpis went silent once more and began walking slightly ahead of the rest as she was directed to head back to camp. She felt the gaze of someone and turned her head slightly to see Leafa looking in her direction, and quickly turned her head back forward again.
