Avikii made his way over to his den, it was late morning, and he had already been out and about when the thought almost slipped his mind. Today was the planned date to rank up Soba, The alpha thought. He leaped with grace up atop the neatly stacked rock pile that provided warmth for him when he slept. He faced his pack now, and before speaking, let out a light howl to call the wolves together.

Elpis perked her ears to the Alpha's call. She looked over to him and watched as he took his pace at the rock mound.

Soba jumped to his paws, but quickly stopped himself from looking like a pup. He calmly glanced over at Elpis before strode forward and taking a spot near Avikii.

Avikii smiled down at the older subordinate warmly. Looking back up at his pack, he began to speak, "today a young wolf will be given an official rank, he's been with us since the begining, and I still remember the day I took him in." Avikii barked out among the crowd with a proud tone.
He now looked back down at Soba, who was already sitting at the front. "Soba, please step forward."

Soba contained his excitement as he took a step forward, looking up at Avikii and not breaking eye contact. He did remember when Avikii had taken him into the pack, he had always been a sort of father figure to him since he didn't know his real parents. He even remembered when Arrow and Storm had made fun of him at the old ox bow, how Avikii stood up for him, back then, he was only a pup, but today, he would be a real wolf.

Avikii looked at Soba, realizing he was deep in thought. "Soba, you have proved yourself well over the seasons, and I trust that you will uphold your new rank. From this day forward, until you become an elder or receive an even higher rank, you will be known as a warrior." Avikii boomed with pride, offering a small dip of his head in respect of the newly ranked wolf.
