Here is an example battle:
Necessary Links: Rules, Charts, HP/SP
Storm let out a growl, showing his pearl white teeth. He wasn't going to let this rogue get away steeling prey, and would teach him a lesson. Running towards the rogue, the alpha rammed into its side with all the strength he had.
Storm used Ramming Hit, dealing 26 HP and costing 15 SP.
Storm:
HP: 120/120
SP: 265/280
Rogue:
HP: 24/50
SP: 150/150

Note: When posting in a battle, it's always good to give some sort of description before you attack so other users have a better understanding of what is happening when you attack.
(The rogues/other user's side of things)
The rogue let out a howl of surprise when the pack wolf rammed into his side and was sent skidding across the earth. Quickly getting up, he shook his fur to rid himself from the dust and looked to the alpha with fire in his eyes. How dare he pretend that the valley prey was only his, he needed to share! Rushing towards the wolf, he gave a burst of speed and gripped onto his foe's tail, clamping down hard.
Rogue used Teeth Grip, dealing 14 HP and costing 15 SP.
Rogue rolled the dice: 1bQl5K17
Rogue:
HP: 24/50
SP: 135
Storm:
HP: 106/120
SP: 265/280

Note: Since the move Teeth Grip requires a dice roll, the user clicked the dice button on the top right hand corner of post option menu as highlighted in yellow here: Click Me
This is a very basic example of how the battle system works. The next time that the user Rogue posts, they will put the number that they received from the dice roll into action.
