Though she would never admit it, Crescent was feeling awfully nervous as she leaped up upon the great rock. Storm had disappeared, and as the Beta, it was her job to lead the pack now. She'd become the Alpha now, temporarily at least. And this was the first ceremony she'd be performing. Sayen would be a good subordinate, with a little training. Standing up straight, the gray wolf let out a loud howl for the pack to gather.

With the howl, the soon-to-be-subordinate ran as quickly as she can towards the great rock, this was the day, finally she was going to join the grown-ups, after that day she wouldn’t be a pup anymore. Sayen couldn’t help but daydream a bit about the adventures she hoped that she would have soon, and all the places she would be able to explore past the borders of the camp that she already knew so well, as she had spent all her free time exploring every corner of it, going as far as she could until she found an obstacle on her way or a grown-up stopped her and forced her back to the safety of the place she called home.

Sayen almost bounced forward instead of just giving the required step, excitement clear on her face as her ail oved from side to side with happiness.

"Then by the power of the Sky-Wolves, I hereby give you the rank of Subordinate. May you serve your pack well." Crescent finished, exhaling the breath she didn't know she was holding in. And my first ceremony is done. She jumped off the high boulder to greet the new subordinate.
