"Why sky-wolves..." He glared up at the sky for a moment before glancing around the den site. Elpis was no where in sight, it was up to him. After all, he was the one that would teach Elpis the few things he did know about herbs.
Avikii darted over to a corner of camp, where a few aspen trees grew. there were a lot of dead leaves on the ground. He used a paw to shuffle a few of them away from the base of the tree trunk, where he knew cobwebs should be. Sure enough, there were plenty to get her by until Elpis could do more. He weaved them around his fore paw before heading carefully back over to Leafa, who now lay cautiousness. He grumbled, not exactly needed this issue to worsen. Taking the cobwebs off his paw, he began to gently wrap them around the worst wound, the one along her flank. Nothing could be done about the smaller wounds for now.

Leafa's eyes blinked open and she was consumed by immense pain. It was pretty bad, but she just laid there in shock. She'd never felt anything like this before. Leafa felt something draped across her flank and she struggled to lift her head. She glanced at her back where her large wound was. Her flank was covered with cobwebs. Blood still seeped through the cobweb, but it wasn't quite as bad now. Leafa saw Avikii through blurry eyes.
"W-what's going o-on?" Leafa asked, her voice laced with pain.

Her voice caught his attention and he glanced over at her, "you got hurt, do you remember?" He told her. Avikii couldn't help but feel bad, and a little sympathetic towards the golden female.
"A cougar attacked you, I chased it off and you helped." He continued, attempting to help jog her memory.

Leafa nodded, her memory felt foggy, like she couldn't quite grasp her thoughts through the haze of pain.
"Oh..." Leafa murmured, laying her head back down. She moved her eyes to Avikii and whispered, "Thank you..."

Avikii blinked, a fuzzy feeling creeping it's way up his stomach. "Of course, it's my job as alpha to make sure my pack mates are safe." He offered a curt nod, watching as she laid her head back down on the ground, stiff with the cool weather.

Leafa huffed and smiled.
"I guess we showed that cougar who's boss," she declared quietly. She let out a small laugh before she went silent, trying to regain control over the pain. Her whole side was throbbing and she just wanted it to stop. Her leg, however, didn't hurt quite as much. It was small and less painful.
