Change is in the Air (Important!)

Takoni had been sleeping in, without much to do, he never really bothered to get himself up. The pale wolf rolled onto his paws, glancing out of the den entrance he saw Crescent, the newly appointed beta perched upon the tallrock. What does she want? Why isn't Storm doing this? He made his way out of the day. Little did Takoni know, Storm had left very early that morning, leaving his pack behind.

The streaked, black and white wolf trotted over to Crescent, and sat below the towering rock. He eyed her for a moment, fear and anxiety is what reflected back. He glanced around, obviously confused. Wait, where was Storm? Takoni glanced around the den site, growing worried. What happened to our alpha?

Christian padded over and sat next to the other pup, Taurus. Looking up at the rock and not seeing Storm there, he wondered what had happened.

Comet looked up to the she-wolf. Storm was definitely... interesting, but he never thought that the alpha would just vanish like that. Sitting in the crowd of shocked wolves, the warrior stayed silent. Comet didn't know how to react and although he was shocked, there was some anger that started to bubble inside of him too. How could he have just left them like this? Right after they'd rescued Arrow? What was he thinking?!

Arrow perked her ears, the commotion finally reaching her, the omega had received little to no sleep during the night hours. She shivered in her spot where she lay as an omega, curled around Jetta in attempt to keep her warmer then herself.

Over the past few hours she decided that she would give nearly every scrap of food she got to her pup, none the less the she wolf herself couldn't appear to be any more a walking skeleton. She was starting to look almost like a loner or rouge with such terrible undernourishment across the past three to four moons. The process was only worsened by the fact that she had pups which sucked as much nutrients from her own body as they could before being quickly switched to meat.

She had happened to see a figure leave, it was large and husky, however she couldn't exactly determine who. Ever since her first attack, her encounter with lightning, shes found it hard to take in smells. It was all the more difficult now that this cold weather had set in.

However, if that wolf did happen to be Storm, then it was not that long ago. She rolled her eyes, It had hardly been a few hours and they were already mewling like blind pups without their mother. Whether he had just gone on a night stroll or actually left, Arrow could care less, he had done the damage. He first fibbed he didn't want her, but the minute her hope for the Bison pack had returned upon her rescue, he slayed it with a cruel vicious blow. He deemed her an omega, her and her pup. Her pup! It was such a heartless thing to do, Jetta didn't mean to be born to herself. She didn't mean to be half blood. She didn't mean to live past birth. She wasn't the one who got lost to the toils of a no better Canyon Casanova. Her tail still lashed at the thought of him, her heart couldn't be more broken. Her spirit couldn't be more broken.

Arrow scoffed, it was disgusting to see what scum Bison Pack had suddenly been reduced to. Every strand of pride was lost for her pack when it took them days upon weeks upon months to even discover her whereabouts and finally retrieve her. She had never even had a single friend, never could she call a single wolf in this pack her friend. Due to this, and the fact she had been reduced to the lowest rank possible in a pack filled with low and cruel wolves, she found no reason against despising everything that was Bison pack.

She joined Bison Pack, knowing that, they were the strongest. They were brave, courageous, and hard headed wolves. All of that was still true, along with the fact that they refused to take no for an answer, or to even drop to their opposers level at any point to make an agreement. However, perhaps what she had thought, what she had come to know that made Bison pack strong, was all in her head.

She stared out across the forest where trees sprinkled the land all around them. The trees had very little growth on them, as soon as the fire had come, these dark times had followed as well. Times of cold. Cold winds and cold hearts.

A part of her wanted to even consider asking the wolf who was named Crescent to be removed as Omega. She hoped that her past as a healer would help her to sympathize her need for food and good shelter in such cold times. Arrow wouldn't be surprised if she started to gain a cold, considering she had been shaking violently on and off all night in attempt to keep herself and her own pup warm. None the less, she had agreed with Storm, which meant she would probably refuse any of her pleas as much as Storm had.

Her mind filled with an indescribable rage, at everything she had been through, and then he had to do that. She could very well say she hated him, at least at the moment. Mentally, she could not take any more of the heartbreak or disappointment. Physically, she is lucky to still be alive.

She wanted to scream out to the highest heavens, but she bit her tongue and held back her tears, she did not want her pup to see her this weak. So she swallowed her emotions and locked them away in her heart and held stones in her eyes, leaving nothing to see but her hollow body without a soul. She didn't dare speak a word about anything to anyone, even to herself or if spoken to, knowing that she would crack upon the first words.

"I am going to make a few changes, especially in regards to the recent Omega ceremonies." Crescent's gaze shifted to Arrow and Jetta. "Arrow will remain as Omega until further notice, for all the reasons Storm has previously stated. However, Jetta will not be, and she will be free to live as any other pup her age. I see no reason why she should be punished for her mother's crimes."
