Koga went up to the subordinates den, and looked at the sleeping bundles of fur. She picked out Elpis, and nudged her. "hey Elpis, I promised healer training, remember?" She said with a smile, then backed up out of the den.

Elpis raised her head and blinked sleep away from her eyes. At the mention of the words 'healer training' her attention was peaked. She became excited at once and stood, stretching out her back and front legs. In a moments time she began out the den to Koga with a smile on her face.

Elpis nodded and followed behind her. She thought about how everyone learned their set of skills from somewhere. "Did you earn from experience or were you taught?" She question while they walked.

Elpis nodded. She had never really talked much about her own parents considering she could hardly remember even a face. Are the faces I remember even my parent's. She thought, her face turned to confusion for a moment. For all I known they're the ones who caused me to be abandoned. Their toothy grins and bright eyes haunt me with questions that I might never get answered. But all that doesn't matter now. She looked to Koga and said, "all of the older wolves are sort of like my parents, including you. You think that is what makes me a little different? As in not wanting to fight because I have such a large family that I'd rather care for?" She couldn't stop herself from asking. She was always so quiet and felt that she needed to talk to at least one other about what went on in her head.

Elpis glanced away for a moment, but she knew it wasn't worth hiding anymore and looked back up to her. "I remember seeing faces. Unfriendly faces.Whether or not they belonged to my parents I do not know. What I do recall is of no help either as I was too young to understand what was going on. I was either cast out, hidden from danger, or somehow managed to roll under the right bush at the right time when my home was being ransacked. " She didn't have much more to tell. Her world had just come into view when it began to change for her as a pup.
