Avikii had finished his duties early that day, of which he planned for. He hadn't had much time to himself and was looking forward to some alone time.
He planned to walk about the territory, check borders, maybe hunt, but anything to get his mind off of alpha duties, it was stressful work sometimes. Just as he was about to stand up and head out, small paw steps from behind caught his attention. What now? He thought, and perfect timing if the wolf was looking to stall him. He turned around to face his approacher.

302 stood nearby, he had been rather quiet lately, the Arrow events just starting to leave his mind, he was finally moving past that crazy event. He noticed a subordinate pad by, and wondered what they were up to. He continued to watch as she approached Avikii. Of course.

Khari padded over to Avikii and looked up at him. She exhaled. She was gonna do it! This was her time. She swayed a bit and smiled.
"I-I like you, Avikii," she cooed.

Avikii cocked a brow, unable to tell if she was being serious or not. "I could guess," he replied sarcastically. "Now I'm off to take a walk, so I'll see you when I get back..." He paused, eyeing her for a moment before beginning to turn around.

Avikii stopped, his fore paw raised in mid step. He turned to look at the female subordinate, ear flicking in irritation. "What is it then?" He pressed, obvious annoyance shimmering in his pale blue gaze.

Avikii paused for a moment, what? He mentally questioned, when had she asked me a question?
Then it all processed. She really did like him. Avikii scoffed, "I don't have time for this..." He began to mutter. "No, I'm not interested in you, or any wolf for that matter." He informed her bluntly, tail flicking back and forth.

302 had watched the scene fold out, he felt bad for the young Khari. He didn't know her very well, and figured this would be a good time. He got to his paws, his dark, slender frame approaching the subordinate. He paused in front of her, time to put my charming works to action. He pressed his muzzle against her cheek, for her it may have been sudden, but he didn't care.
"Hey you'll be fine." He said softly, his eyes shone with reassurance, yet something else hid behind them.

302 sighed, "Avikii's been through a lot, I'm not sure if he's looking for someone right now..." He glanced up, in the direction the alpha had left. "But from the looks of it, it's a no." He said, cutting to the chase. He wished she would feel better, after all, Khari was only a subordinate, and had a lot of days ahead, and he wanted to act like his usual self around her.

302 grinned, seeing that she had lightened up, time to really show her what he was like. He backed up slightly, yet not too much. "Hey, you seem pretty okay, Avikii was a douche for letting you down." He commented, a certain slyness to his voice.

Seeing her sigh again, he quickly made it a goal to keep her in good spirits. "Hey, I'm sure I could be a much better substitute for you than Avikii, he's a little on the older end don't you think?" He insisted, that old fling method kicking in.
