Avikii jumped up onto the highstone, otherwise known as the alpha's den. The pack was flourishing with new subordinates, and the little corner where they slept beside the common den was beginning to grow crowded. The lean wolf lifted his muzzle to the air, and let out a short howl to gather the pack together.

Hearing Avikii's familiar howl, Lily padded to the front of the gathering crowd and sat down, tail wagging slowly back and forth. Although she wasn't sure what this meeting was for, she prayed to the SkyWolves that this was her ceremony, for she'd been waiting so long.

Avikii, noticing the older subordinate, Lily, join the crowd. "Lily, please step forward." He beckoned her, a light smile, and a slight amount of pride showing through it.

Stepping forward, Lily held her head high, meeting the alpha's gaze. The pride in his eyes and smile on his muzzle filled the young wolf with happiness. All the hard work of proving to the pack that she was a worthy member had paid of and here she was, about to receive her official rank.

"Lily, today you have reached the age of an officially ranked wolf, so I'm already guessing you know what this meeting is about." He paused, collecting his thoughts. "You have worked hard within the pack, and certainly proved yourself loyal. So, by the power of sky-wolves, I give you your official rank. Until the day you are named an elder, you will be known as a scout. Continue to work hard, and pass down your knowledge gained as a subordinate." He finished.

Filled with pride and excitement, Lily sat tall and proud, her tail wagging back and forth. A scout! What a great rank! Of course she'd still hunt and fight, but now she had a bigger purpose within the pack and she promised to live up to it.
