Avikii awoke to a cool breeze drifting it’s way into his den, he slowly opened his eyes, letting out a yawn as he did. Then, the alpha got to his paws, and squeezed his lean body out of the den. Once outside, he glanced around the camp, taking in the amount of wolves, he smiled slightly, happy to see the pack at peace. He left those thoughts behind, for there were more important things to remember. He turned, jumping atop the den he had just emerged from, he faced his pack, lifted his head to the sky, and let out a low howl.
Today, a pup would receive the rank of subordinate. He stopped the howl, and looked down over his pack. Watching as wolves looked up and began to make their way over to the highstone.

Shakka heard the howl and flicked her ear towards the howl and smiled. She quickly got to her paws and rushed over. Giving herself a quick lick

She looked up at Avikii and shyly nodded before stepping forward. Her one ear slightly flopped over as it normally did when she was shy or slightly nervous.

Avikii smiled, a distant way to let her know to be confident. "Shakka, you have reached the age of subordinate, so it's time for you to rank up." He barked over the crowd, flicking his ear as he did.

She noticed his smile and returned it and took in a breath. Relaxing as she heard him speak to the crowd. Her tail slightly moved side to side in a wag motion but slower. Eager more than nervous as she heard about moving up a rank.

"Shakka, I hereby give you the rank of subordinate." He spoke smoothly, happy to be ranking up yet another pup. "Train well, respect wolves older than yourself, and soon you'll find that your learning things quicker than a hare can run." He dipped his head toward the new subordinate.

"I will" she promised him and she raised her head to gently nudge his head. Doing it in a respectful and excited manner and her tail wagged more fiercely.
