Avikii awoke to a cool breeze drifting it’s way into his den, he slowly opened his eyes, letting out a yawn as he did. Then, the alpha got to his paws, and squeezed his lean body out of the den. Once outside, he glanced around the camp, taking in the amount of wolves, he smiled slightly, happy to see the pack at peace. He left those thoughts behind, for there were more important things to remember. He turned, jumping atop the den he had just emerged from, and faced his pack, lifted his head to the sky, and let out a low howl.
Today, two pups would receive the rank of subordinate. He stopped the howl, and looked down over his pack. Watching as wolves looked up and began to make their way over to the highstone.

Hoja padded out of the nursery, excited beyond compare. Today she would be a subordinate, and would be able to leave camp!

Axolotl padded beside his sister. "We're going to be subordinates!" he whispered as he went to the front of the crowd ready to be called.

Avikii glanced between the two siblings. "You have each reached the age of subordinate," he started, "so from this moment on, until you receive an official rank, you two will now hold the rank of subordinate. Train hard, and listen to the older wolves." He dipped his head in congratulation.
