Avikii awoke to a cool breeze drifting it’s way into his den, he slowly opened his eyes, letting out a yawn as he did. Then, the alpha got to his paws, and squeezed his lean body out of the den. Once outside, he glanced around the camp, taking in the amount of wolves, he smiled slightly, happy to see the pack at peace. He left those thoughts behind, for there were more important things to remember. He turned, jumping atop the den he had just emerged from, and faced his pack, lifted his head to the sky, and let out a low howl.
Today, two young males would receive an official rank. He stopped the howl, and looked down over his pack. Watching as wolves looked up and began to make their way over to the highstone.

The ringing of Avikii's howl leapt throughout the air and broke into his dreams. He jumped with a start as he awoke, and stood up. He gave his pelt a few quick licks to settle the off strands of fur and went outside to see what Avikii was calling to this time.

Hediki awoke as well, his alpha's familiar howl breaking his peace. Yet, a certain excitement burst through him, was today finally the day? The young male jumped up from his spot and followed Ceiko into the clearing.

Avikii spotted Hediki and Ceiko among the crowd and took it as a signal to continue. "Two subordinates will be ranking up on this chilly morning," he started, grabbing the attention of others. "Hediki and Ceiko, please step forward."

Ceiko's eyes shot wide. He was ranking up? He could not believe it. He was finally to receive his rank! He never would have imagined this day to come.
The blind male stood up hastily and quickly took his spot before the Alpha.

Hediki stepped up beside Ceiko, glancing over at his acquaintance, attempting to hide his excitement.

Avikii glanced between the two before continuing. "I have thought for a while now which rank would suit you two best, and that descion is warrior. Yes, you each will be warriors together. Continue to work your hardest, and pass your knowledge down to the younger wolves." He barked over the crowd.

Ceiko's tail wagged. Yes warrior! He would be the best warrior he could be. He would be able to track anything down! He thought excitedly, his mind avoiding the thought of battle against any possible enemy.
He dipped his head in thanks to the alpha, "I will" he said softly
