Avikii awoke to a cool breeze drifting it’s way into his den, he slowly opened his eyes, letting out a yawn as he did. Then, the alpha got to his paws, and squeezed his lean body out of the den. Once outside, he glanced around the camp, taking in the amount of wolves, he smiled slightly, happy to see the pack at peace. He left those thoughts behind, for there were more important things to remember. He turned, jumping atop the den he had just emerged from, and faced his pack, lifted his head to the sky, and let out a low howl.
Today, Elpis would be ranking up to their official healer. He stopped the howl, and looked down over his pack. Watching as wolves looked up and began to make their way over to the highstone.

Elpis was walking around the Canyon territory. The ground felt cool beneath her paws as the cold season approached. The cool breeze drifted through her pelt, which had grown darker over the passage of time. At the tone of a low, but familiar howl she turned her head back to camp. It is Avikii. She knew immediately. Elpis had grown accustomed to the sounds of different pack mates' cries and calls, so she would not fall for a false one.
She traveled back into the den site and looked toward the usual meeting place and walked thusly. He is not here. She thought and redirected herself to see him atop a den and approached.

Avikii watched as Elpis re-entered the den site, and plopped down among the growing crowd.
"Today, a very important pack role will be fulfilled today," the alpha began, turning to look at Elpis again. "Elpis, please step forward." He beckoned, wondering if she could now assume what this meeting was about.

Elpis went closer. She could either be in trouble or be receiving her official rank. Despite the possibilities, she took to his tone and knew the truth of the moment. She smiled.

"Elpis," he started, glancing down at the young she-wolf. "You have done your time in training to become the pack healer, it's time you were given the rank officially. From now on, until you can no longer serve, you will be known as the pack healer. The sky-wolves honor your time in training and we believe you can fulfill this rank well." Avikii dipped his head toward the newly named healer.

Elpis dipped her head in return and held the position for a few moments. She then looked back up at him, a glisten of cheer in her eyes. "Thank you, sir," she said with excitement in her tone, hidden beneath her serious exterrior, " I shall not let you down."
