Finally, it was time. In the bitter winter, Bison Pack needed all the strength they could muster up, and there was no time for omegas. Arrow had stayed obedient and had proved herself trustworthy. Though Crescent was not normally forgiving by nature, even she could see Arrow was ready. The alpha jumped up onto the rock and howled to call her pack.

Arrow glanced grimly around the corner of her den, mumbling, "Oh lookie, the noob that Storm chose for an Alpha upon his abandonment, is about to rank up another pup to subordinate... Yippee."
She sighed and began to watch from her spot, her whole body was lost to exhaustion from starvation, cold, thirst and a terrible sleep depression. Arrow still had yet to believe why Storm abandoned his pack in which he was so passionate about, then again, he thought she was disloyal. Perhaps more had changed then she could imagine she decided bitterly.

She wasn't going to dance around the issue. She knew the omega had heard her, so it was a good a time as any to begin. "Arrow," she barked, as loud as she could. "You have been the omega of Bison Pack for many moons now, and we need all the strength we can get in this coming winter. You have proven your loyalty and restored your honour to both myself and the rest of your pack. For that, I believe it is time for you to become a subordinate once more. Arrow - please step forward."

Arrow found herself shocked. 'Wait, I'm getting ranked up?' The she wolf looked over her mangled pelt, she hardly looked like a wolf at all. She was merely skin and bone, ticks, woven into her pelt along with burrs, leaves and twigs. She stood up shakily, it seemed like forever since she had been on her paws, every muscle ached. They ached because they had been lost to time, and for this she almost looked like a pup taking their first step. It was a pitiful sight to see, a wolf who was once so strong as the rest, now broken down to almost nothing.
Depsite this, she made as much of an effort as possible to hold herself with pride, and keep what little dignity she had left.

Arrow watched the newly appointed Alpha. She bit back any smart remarks, keeping a formal tone, "I do." She responded, her voice as weak as she appeared.

"Then now, I welcome you back as a subordinate of Bison Pack. May you serve your pack well." Crescent nodded, and gave Arrow a small smile. It was good to have her back. She leaped off the rock to greet the newly-promoted wolf. "First things first, I'm sending you to Kyro. He'll give you some herbs and you can start recovering. Make sure you eat as much as you can - you need to get your strength up."

Arrow nodded in response. She had recently learned Kyro to be the pack's newly appointed medic. At least her time laying around doing nothing hadn't been completely useless, she decided.
