Hediki startled as the sound of Swift's stumble, watching as she tossed low in the air, hitting the nearby dark water. He prevented himself from laughing as he quickly made his way over to the edge of the water.
"Swift!" He called into it's dark yet shallow depths. The water wasn't very deep, where was she?

Swift pulled herself to the bank a ways down with an exhausted gasp. The she wolf could hardly reach the bottom at her height, so she wasn't at all surprised to see him still calling where she fell in instead of where she may have been swept down to. She coughed, a bit of water sputtering from her mouth. Her pelt was plastered to her body and she shivered quite violently. She looked over at Hediki, almost as if dead, her energy drained. She stared at him, just awaiting his taunts and laughter, a puff of air rose into the sky in the vision of a thin white-grey cloud of her warm breath.

Hediki looked up as a soft splash sounded from a little ways away, he perked his ears and directed his attention toward the noise. He saw Swift's grey head bod above the surface, then crawl out of the chilling water. "Swift!" He huffed, quickly making his way along the bank.
Once he reached her, he attempted to help her get out, but of course it wasn't much use since she was already half way free from the water.

(There is a current even in a pond, unless the pond is still, but then it becomes a swamp because of all the dense algae that forms and the dirt gets dense with the water. Ponds have a slight current to them mostly directed by the wind. As i pictured it, there was a bit of wind seeing as its winter..)
Swift coughed, water sputtering from her mouth. Her ears and tail drooped almost as if too heavy with water, but she was more then anything too embarrassed to show much other emotion. Bitterly, she shook her pelt off where she stood, and after doing so, she looked away. She found herself too afraid to make eye contact. She could only imagine the taunts, the laughter, the snarky remarks to follow now that she was visibly well.

Hediki blinked, wondering why she didn't answer him. "Swift?" He prompted again, padding up beside her, his dry pelt brushing against her damp one. She felt cold, obviously, from the water of course. The warrior really didn't know what to do, too worried she'd get mad at him for being too close, so he only stayed close enough for their pelts to slightly touch, only with movement.

Swift flinched at his touch, then looked over at him, a bit of shock and surprise reflected in her gaze along with the stars that glittered high above.
She looked back to her paws, mumbling silently,"Hediki." In response to his own words. Her tail hanging low, dripping with water like the rest of her pelt.

Hediki lowered his gaze, "You're cold, maybe we should head back to the den site." He suggested, feeling slightly bad that he had dragged her out here. I mean, I'm sure she wanted to come, but, he thought, pausing. The warrior looked back up at her, "Come on, wouldn't want you catching something." He prompted again.

Hediki just smiled, "I'm sure, I care more about your health." He said, his smile from before turning into a more shy looking one. "Plus, if you were sick, we wouldn't be able to do this again anytime soon." He brought up, definitely meaning he wanted to hang out with her more, without saying it directly.
"Now as I said before, let's go." He said smoothly, then turned, nudging her a bit before beginning to pad forward.
