Avikii bounded atop the high stone, otherwise known as the alpha's den. He paused, today Kastor would be ranking up, his son. After he had ranked up Swift he had been watching how Kastor trained, and after a while of thinking, the alpha had decided.
He lifted his muzzle to the air, letting out a quick howl to gather his pack.

Kastor's ears perked up at the familiar sound of his father's call. He had been lurking around the entrance of camp, watching others as they went about their day. Now he headed towards Avikii, whom stood atop the alpha den.

Upon seeing Kastor's arrival, Avikii continued. "I have called you all together today to appoint a new officially ranked wolf." The alpha began, barking over the crowd. "Kastor, please step forward."

Kastor's face began to form a grin as his eyes met his father's. He approached as asked and stood by him. He awaited the announcement of his rank.

"Kastor, you have trained hard to understand the ways of the pack." He spoke up, hoping to grab attention. "I have thought for a while now on your official rank and I have decided it to be Scout." He paused, gathering his words. "Continue to work hard, and pass your newly gained knowledge onto those younger than you."
