Hi so Koga is getting kindof old but not old enough to be an elder, so I was thinking maybe she could get some injury to put her in the elders den but I am not sure what kind of injury.
so, comment below a reasonable injury please so I can get some ideas!!!!!!

She could break a bone. There are various ways of doing that. Elpis could claim that as shes getting older that to heal it, it would take too long to heal. To go a bit more minor it could be a bad sprain. She could do this by tripping in a hole, during battle, like Avi said, trampled by elk. She could get a large injury such as scratch or gash from an elk buck while hunting. Like she could hunt a cow but then the cow's mate comes and sticks her but the rest of the patrol chases it off and gets her back to camp before further damage. She could go blind from a hare scratch. She could loose her sense of smell( from..  ) |

Getting trampled sounds cool, but maybe not a complete trample or it might actually kill her. Maybe she gets kicked by an elks hind legs while getting ready to pounce it

I like the trampled idea but i also agree with velvi when she said it is a bit brutal. so i will combine some ideas
I think I will have her hunt an elk, but when she jumps to tackle it, the elk will get scared and kick her, hitting her cheek/muzzle. She gets dizzy and falls to the ground unable to get up then as the elk runs away, steps on her, which could break a bone or at least permanently sprain somehting, I will decide later if a bone breaks or sprains and i will also decide which bone it is
this will put her in the elders den even though she could probably still hunt
