((OOC~ This topic is closed ONLY for Avikii's family, the pups are - Swift, Mari, Kastor, Axolotl, and Hoja.)) <<>> It was about mid day, the sun had risen over Canyon Pack territory, providing a welcoming warmth, which helped begin to melt away the snow. Avikii sat at the edge of the den site, the usual perch he stood at while waiting to meet some wolf. This ledge offered a beautiful view of the frosted over valley, he could see also everything from here - the Lone Tree, the Little Butte, the Old OxBow, the creek itself and even hints of Bison Pack territory. The alpha had planned a simple outing with his family, his step son and step daughter, Axolotl and Hoja hadn't bonded with him much, so he was looking forward to what the day ahead held with his extended family. Avikii had decided to take them around the creek alongside their eastern border, otherwise known as the western creek. Too bad Grudge isn't around anymore, he thought grimly.

Swift was the first to come out to meet her father, she wasn't all as enthusiastic as she could imagine her siblings to be. She would have much rather gone on another adventure or done something else of the sort, she didn't want to be dragged along somewhere when she knew all too well her father would simply stare at her as if she had a fish tail!
She never could understand why her father did, he never told her, and he almost always seemed to try and shy away from her. As if he wanted to talk to her as little as possible like she carried some odd disease. Whatever it was, day by day the young she wolf felt more outcasted, and she had a daunting subconscious sense that this day could only make it worse.
