Soba sat in the den site, waiting for wolves to join him on a patrol. He didn't really look to go hunting or anything, just to simply mark the border and return home.
Hoja sat beside her father, waiting to leave.

Axolotl padded over to his father feeling a great rush of affection for him. "Patrol?" he asked while sitting down next to him. "Oh and do you have any she-wolf advice?" His tail wagged happily as he thought about Shade.

Soba nodded toward his son Axolotl, then to the approaching Shade. "You may both come along" he said with a smile, then turned to whisper into Axolotl's ear, "it's about Shade?" He asked.
Hoja stood up, "great! Let's go!"

Kastor saw the small group beginning to collect in camp. He began to make his way over, curious as to the reason. As he got closer he began to hear word of a patrol that would soon take place. He got closer the the group and looked at Soba, whom he wasn't too familiar with but wished to learn more about him, and seemed to be the one leading the patrol. "May I join you?" He asked, directing the question to Soba.

Elpis looked out of the medical and saw Kastor walk past to a group. She assumed they were heading out. She needed more supplies after the recent outbreak. She walked over to them and said, "whom is in charge of this patrol?"

Soba muted a chuckle, "I'm your father, I see a lot, and I have been seeing you hang around with Shade." He pulled away, looking up to Kastor and Elpis, he dipped his head toward the pack healer. "I'm in charge" he answered Elpis, then looked at Kastor "and yes, you can come along." He glanced over at Sahde.
Hoja smiled at her brother, "hello Axolotl! And yes, we should patrol more."

Kastor nodded and then stood off to the side, allowing the healer to state her business.

Elpis looked at Soba. "If it would not be a trouble to you could you look out for a few things on your patrol for me?" She paused," I need feverfew, watermint, and elderberries. Though, I am not sure is any are in season around this time, but I am nonetheless still in need of them in case we have another epidemic. If you do not come across any of them that will be fine. I can make my supplies last for a little while longer and make use of what I have."

Shade walked beside Axolotl , Soba and Kastor, with her
Head down and her ears flattened, she was thinking about
Ice and Axolotl, she felt that the two males felt something more than his friendship, even Ice seemed that he loved her, but Shade was disappointed
Of him, but Axolotl she wasn't sure if he felt like her, maybe not. Her thought
Where confusing, afte his adoptive mother,Koga. It was sad she couldn't fight
Or hunt again....But his adoptive uncle,Kane. Continue with his duties, while
Koga became an elder.

The male scout whispered to his sister. "Can i talk to Shade for a moment? It's important." He added at the end in case she retorted. He then turned to Shade, "Can I talk to you for a moment?" He asked hoping Hoja had walked away by now, he could tell that his close friend had a look of uncertainty in her eyes. He doubted it wasn't about him and Ice.

Axolotl gazed into her eyes with a trusting look. HIs amber eyes say into her (sorry forgot what colour they were) ones, "Shade. I know how you feel about me and i want you to know I feel the same way." He got a bit closer and affectionately nudged her although they were still walking.

Shade couldn't believe what she heard, Axolotl felt the same way she where, he loved het, as she loved him....She nuzzled Axolotl, she was so happy that Axolotl felt something towards her.

He slowly pulled away and sincerely asked. "Do you want to be my mate?" Her pale-green eyes were like calm willow's swaying in the breeze (hint hint possible daughter name in the future). This time he actually meant it, not a little game that they would play but as an actual mate. "I know you may still be a subordinate but Avikii is bound to rank you up soon!"

Shade freeze after this question but then she looked at Axolotl's pale-green
gaze she then said calmly "Yes,I will love to be your mate Axolotl" Shade couldn't believe what just had happened, she where glad but sad what would say Ice? does he will hate her forever?, she didn't know.
