I was thinking for a mini, but intense plot in Canyon (As of right now but I will update/edit accordingly).
Basically, someone (may or may not be a Canyon wolf themselves - further discussion require) finds themselves in the position where they think they can openly discuss to the rest of Canyon about their alpha, Avikii. Here, the person has something to say that most wouldn't exactly refer to as "banter" or common tomfoolery, but rather verbally attacking him as a leader, father, or mate, depending on what is voted upon. It could even be on all three or more fronts.(Leave suggestions if any. I will add them to the poll)

The wolf (or wolves) will have high confidence in themselves and would not be suspecting of any back lash. Their words will spark a civil war within the pack. The other side being led by Avikii's eldest son, Kastor. He shall rebuttal as he is very loyal to him. This will result in a "duel" type scenario as decided by Kastor and the other(s) after the wolf(ves) refuse to apologize or take back what they announced. Kastor will not actually fight, but rebel against it mid-fight in order to look like the bigger person, but this doesn't go as planned and leaves him terribly injured. BUT NOT DEAD. The situation may bring his large family together to give him support enough to get him through recovery until he is once again ready to fight for his pack.

(Edit: This plot idea was inspired by "Blow Us All Away" and "Stay Alive" from Hamilton, I suggest giving them a listen if you want to understand the origin of the idea
