Peering out from under the roots of the tree den, green eyes searched the small clearing before him. Scents of the forest and blood from the mouths of his pack-mates after a hunt ever more stronger now. Tucking his shifting paws under him he made for a mighty leap to the outside, though he didn't quite make it. Shuffling to his paws he looked around, mouth agape as his tongue hung out. Blundering and tripping over his paws he made him clumsy and stumble to the ground more than once, but that didn't bother him!
Completely ignoring the wolves that were doing their business, Adimar thought it'd be fun to sniff around, to see if there was anything new. Though the young pup didn't find anything all that new though he did breath in some dirt by accident and it was quite unpleasant for him.

Takoni had just came back into the den site from a border patrol, it was rather boring really, nothing had happened, all they had done was mark the borders and go on their way. As he entered the clearing, a small pup caught his attention. His little shadowy body pretty noticeable among the slowly melting snow. The warrior stole a glance around the clearing before going to pad toward the little pup, seeing as it seemed his parents weren't around.
"Hey," he said in attempt to grab the little pups attention. "It's cold out, what are you doing?" Takoni now asked in a soft tone, he wasn't in trouble, so the pale wolf didn't want to give off the vibe that he was.

(Avi, how does one become a caretaker, is it the same as any OR?)
Arrow rose her head, the subordinate watched as the young pup bounded out past the nursery entrance. She watched from the mouth of the den as Takoni approached them. She smiled warmly after the pup, but did not move, laying curled up around the pup she had found a short while back. She had grown quite a bit since, it was obvious she would perhaps be a subordinate soon. Her heart aching, they just grow up so quickly.

Adimar looked up at the much taller wolf, eyes blinking as he took a moment to process what was being asked of him. Turning to look at the older wolf a little better, the puppy sat down, rump kicking up dirt and snow as he did so. Soft ears flopped, an eyebrow raised and a tail thumped. "I was-a lookin' at stuff." Spluttered the puppy, his sentences still a big choppy.

"Were you now?" Takoni's expression melted into a soft smile, it had actually been quite a while since he had interacted with a pup. "There's quite a lot to look at outside the nursery, and even more to explore once outside the den site itself." He looked up, feeling eyes coming form a corner of the clearing. He spotted Arrow, protecting the pup she had seemed to take in as her own. His deep orange gaze didn't stand on her long and it soon shifted to the expanse of land that lay flat past their site.

Arrows soft gaze caught Takoni's just briefly. She quickly furrowed her 'brows' and turned her gaze away, her eyes hardening to their natural cold look. Her bright amber eyes seeming so distant and cold like a stone in the shade rather then warm like the summer time sun. Her tail curled closer around her body as she inwardly judged Takoni's words. Perhaps not the best thing to be telling a pup.

Dawn padded over to the trio along with Faolan. "Hi Adimar,Takoni and Arrow!" she greeted looking at the young pup warmly. "First time out? My name's Dawn." An unborn pup kicked her belly. "Oww!"

Adimar lit up in excitement at the mentions of going beyond the den site, though completely oblivious to Takoni's wandering stare. "Can I look outside? Can I? Can I?" The young puppy basically begged, clumsily getting to his big paws and his tail waving in the air at the prospect of adventure! Though his attention was stolen away by another strange wolf, a girl this time.
"Hi! Who're you?" - He paused, looked at Takoni - "Who're you?" He tilted his head in question attention ever changing as she shifted to look at Dawn again, her cry of pain making him worry. "Are you 'kay?" Paws carried him closer, ears pressing down in concern.

Takoni smiled, "of course you can look outside! You can see the territory from the edge of the den site without even leaving it." He turned his tone to a more serious one, "I'm guessing you know the rules, pups aren't allowed to leave the den site. If I catch you leaving you'll be in big trouble." Takoni informed, then his gaze softened, a part of him admired the little pups's eagerness.
He glanced up as Dawn approached, then introduced herself. It reminded him that he hadn't even exchanged names with the shadowy pup. "I'm Takoni," he eyed Dawn, wondering how she already knew the pup's name. "Your name is Adimar?" He looked at the smaller wolf, flicking his ears at the sound of Dawn's whimper of pain, most likely from the pups she carried.

Arrow watched as Dawn then approached, then watched Takoni as he responded. For howling out loud, why was he feuling the pups need to venture outside. He was going to cause trouble in all the pups if he kept it up. Soon they would all be trying to escape before they are even subordinates. Her tailtip flicking back and forth.
