Appearance: Quartz doesn't necessarily consider herself diverse in colorization. She bears a shadowy monochrome coat embellished with various overlapping tones of relevant grey and ebony. Her pelage is glossy and at the same time ruffled, giving it it's unkempt appearance. Despite its appearance, it still remains undeniably soft with the slightest feeling of coarseness. Her optics are shaded a very blunt zircon tone, and the shade proceeds into a darker tint as it reaches the irises. She is still young, and still has an abundant room for growth. She is of an average yearling's age, though only due to her fur being thicker and fuller so she is assumed older as a result. However, even at a juvenile age, she is packed with semi-developed muscle and learning the boundaries of her strength and physical limits. Her gait is poised, and she would always have her eyes positioned ahead of her, just so she can remind herself that there isn't any room to stray away from what was assigned. Quartz might be young, but she's accountable.
(This will be updated when she reaches adulthood.)
Personality: Quartz remains on the thin line of an introvert and extrovert. She is one of little words and reserves her breath on concerns she finds little worth in. The female isn't necessarily fond of expressing her thoughts and feeling towards others, preferring to keep them bottled to herself. She doesn't rely on her voice to publicize her emotions, but instead allows her body language to speak for her. Though she attempts to keep her small temper at bay, she is known to have her exploding moments, letting out all of her emotions if she doesn't get a chance to vent them beforehand. Nevertheless, if she were to stumble upon a conversation discussing a subject matter that interests her, she will be more than amenable to make her opinions regarding that matter public, if it was to only make others aware of her outlook. Whatever opinion someone else may publicize wouldn't usually affect Quartz, just as long as it doesn't interfere with her own opinions. She is a wolf of her words and will, despite how vital, keep a promise or a secret, regardless of who is it coming from. Quartz heavily strives on the mantra 'honesty is the best policy' and will halt at almost nothing to get a point across. She struggles with eye contact, feeling as though eye contact is a form of showing fragility and upon doing so, portrays one's every intention and thought. She takes the phrase 'the eyes are the windows to the soul' very seriously. She wears a mask of drowned out emotions, and has mastered the technique of keeping her authentic emotions hidden. This is the reason why Quartz may not be the easiest to talk to upon first impression, but regardless she will still make an it an effort to at least be cordial. Very few may come to find that she isn't as tough as she may initially appear. The semblance of impassivity she outwardly portrays is her shield and protection against the outside world and over the years, she has built it to be highly durable and resilient. However, those who know how to truly get under her skin will— and perhaps already have— uncover/ed a new side to her. They will find out that this abrasive facade is undeniably brittle— it is the only thing that camouflages her soft and vulnerable side, but as well as walls of insecurities. These walls are indeed unstable and it wouldn’t take much for someone she considers herself close with to bring those walls crashing down. That is why Quartz greatly cherishes those who she manages to get intimate with, and dreads the idea of potentially losing them.
Those who manage to get through to Quartz will come to find that there is devotion and affection that sparks brightly for those who she finds fondness in, considering she finds it difficult to discover such qualities that correspond with her own morals in others. To those who are able to gain her trust, she in return will lay down her life in order to protect them and fight alongside them. However, she isn't one to outwardly portray her dedication, and will instead show it through gestures and body language. This is the reason why they may not notice the subtle indications of her fidelity. For the female, words of commitment mean absolutely nothing, and she will instead determine one's loyalty through their actions and doings. She does not believe in second chances, implying they shouldn't be given out to anyone who has broken their first one. The overall reason why Quartz has built the walls around herself to high is because she strongly believes that she only owes her loyalty to those who never made her question theirs. The female loathes when others get the upper hand or manage to outmatch her, especially in a field that she might excel in. She struggles with admitting to defeat, no matter how hard she may try. What keeps her in this resilient mindset is the thought of failure or stigma, and the general concept of becoming nothing of value or worth. This continuously creeps within the corners of her mind, and that is what pushes her to her absolute limits, just as long as she can verify herself in the reflection of someone she looks up to. Quartz is very much one to analyze her surroundings, especially when entering new turf or encountering new faces. There is no such detail that wouldn't go unnoticed by her, making it difficult to make a fool out of her. She isn't quick to judge unfamiliar faces, and instead resorts to examining one's body language to determine how they may act on the norm. She closely studies others visages and demeanors, using what she has observed to try and piece together what they may have gone through in their past, how their past may affect how they act, and how they ended up the way they are now. (You don't have to read all of this. cx Basically only the first mass of a paragraph is the most important. I'll tweak at this every now and then once she reaches adulthood.)

When she walks, there is a slight bound in her step due to the ankle, and she struggles crossing over rougher terrain.
