Sculikai needed to be alone. He was still filled with anger at the thought that Avikii had beat him. He didn't like to loose, but the younger wolf had to face it, he had no chance to beat a bigger wolf. Not to even mention the fact that he was the Canyon Pack Alpha. Scul let out a miserable sigh with many thoughts processing in his mind.
Why can't i be stronger? He thought to himself. The male loner remembered he was just but a yearling, not that big and bad yet. He growled in frustration as his front paw sunk into a pile of slushy muddy snow. A gust of cold wind erupted from the horizon that came sweeping down, chilling the small wolf. He looked up, casting a few glances to his sides and realized he had wondered straight into the upland meadows.
How can this day get any worse? He hissed inside as he managed to rip his paw out of the pile of muddy slush.

Malikai had been prowling the tribe borders that afternoon, their barren limits almost unnoticeable by passerby's. He growled, why couldn't they have better land? A better land would make them stronger... Malikai lived off of strength, the strength that Titan had worked him up to.
He pasued, a new scent hitting his nose. A loner? Up this far? What in fear-wolves sake is a loner doing up this far north? He scrunched up his nose at the thought of a rival crossing the borders he so delicately marked in order to keep them away.

Sculikai sneezed as a flurry of dust kicked up when he stumbled backwards. The farmilliar scent of wolf drifted down with the gust of wind. Great. The black loner turned around to see a image of a wolf growing closer. He groaned inwardly as he sat down waiting for the wolf to speak and get closer.

Malikai's figure loomed forward, he found himself heading directly toward the loner after quickly spotted him. The dark-muzzle male held a sneer on his muzzle, teeth bared and a low growl humming from the lower regions of his throat.
He had grown close now, the figure of his opponent visible now. The loner was a dark-coated black male with golden eyes, a sturdy build that was for sure. He almost resembled the black wolf Malikai had seen at the gathering that they intruded on, but that one was much skinnier, at least this loner had some kind of bulk, even with his apparently young age.
"Who are you?" The lean tribe wolf barked, coming to a halt a few paces away.

Sculikai drew his lips back to reveal his pearl-white teeth. His ears flicked back and he rose to his paws as the big wolf let out a deep growl. "I am Sculikai, the loner." He replied with a threatening bark. "Who are you?" the male loner shot back the question.
If i only realized i walked straight into stranger wolf territory.This guy doesn't seem like one to mess with.

The tip of Malikai's tail twitched, it's dark movements giving away his irritation. "Malikai." Was his only gruff response, he didn't even bother to reply with something along the lines of "nice to meet you" or anything similar. He wasn't happy to see the loner in his territory.
"You know you're within the rogue limits." He rumbled, flicking his ears back as his blue eyes grew dark with warning.

"Yes, I know. And I'm not scared of being on it one bit." Scul held his head high. It seemed strange to him how similar their names were to each other. Probably just a wierd coincidence. The male loner assumed though his neck fur pricked from the hostility from this wolf. His light amber eyes shone with fire as he stared straight back into Malikai's dark blue ones.
"I was born to be bold. Unlike some wolves." The yearling sneered drawing his snarl bigger.

Malikai's lips remained pulled back in a snarl, revealing his yellowing teeth from eating horrid prey all these months, yet all still shiny and reflecting in the days dying light. Malikai was a tribe wolf, he wasn't going to let some loner tell him off on his own land. The assassin would fight for this territory, no matter how little it provided, until his last breath. Always remain loyal, he thought.
So with those thoughts he charged, quickly closing the gap between the two wolves. The brute sprang upward, paws flailing as his weight landed atop the dark-hued rival. Malikai pushed all his weight into keeping the other male shoved to the ground.
Malikia used Leap and Hold, dealing 6 damage and costing 15 stamina.

As the weight of black and gray fur pushed him to the ground he let out a howl of pain. He twisted and turned and kicked and the tribe wolf finally jumped off but he couldn't help the rage rising in him. A coursing feeling of determination and straight rage exploded from inside him like a strike of lightning coming down to the soil from the skies. "You think I'll break just because of that?" The loner let out a menacing laugh before attacking.
His white teeth shone like the glinting foam of the tossing rivers as he dodged behind the enemy wolf and bit his needle sharp teeth into his tail. The black male puled his head back yanking his tail along with it.
Sculikai used Tail Yank dealing 2 damage and costing 10 stamina.

That's gotta hurt... Sculikai thought in his mind after letting go of the other wolf's tail.

Malikai let out a gruff bark of pain at the feeling of the loners pearly white teeth gripping his tail, the tribe brute turned around and snapped his jaws. No luck. He stumbled a bit, growling with frustration at the inability to break free of his rivals grasp.
Malikai is stunned.

The black wolf backed up, a sneer plastered on his face. He bounded around his opponent before striking forward like a snake biting something. Sculikai slammed his front paw onto the gray wolf's head, hard.
Sculikai used Front Paw Blow, dealing 7 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Malikai growled, a small popping sound coming from his neck as his muzzle was smacked to the side. He snapped his head around, blue eyes narrowed and growing dark against the setting sun. I don't have time for this, he thought as he took a few steps back. Within the next heartbeat he lunged forward, again. This time though, he didn't jump, he simply used all the force he could muster up and threw it toward the loner.
His well-muscled body slammed into the wolf who went by Sculikai, knocking him to the ground. Sculikai. It sounded familiar... No, no time for daydreaming now, you have territory to protect.
Malikai used Ramming Hit, dealing 8 damage and costing 15 stamina. Sculikai is stunned.

As the large wolf lunged with full force, Scul tried to move in time, but failed. The huge body compared to his slammed straight into his like a moose fighting another male. Sculikai felt the breath knocked out of him as he was thrown to the ground. He gasped glancing up at the face of Malikai. But the strange thing was, his face looked as if it was a pup. What? He is a full grown wolf, not a pup! Confusion spilled off his fur as he backed up. He saw a black pup laying on the ground wagging it's tail looking up to pup Malikai.
W-what? I-is that m-m-me? He stuttered in his mind as he stared at the two younger versions of himself and the tribe wolf. He let out a whine as the two younger pups chased each other around the little clearing, pup Scul stumbling because he was younger than the bigger pup. H-he can't b-be... Scul let out another whine as he backed up more. It all came back in a sudden wave of emotion, memories of him playing with Malikai, pretending to hunt the bigger pack wolves, trying to prove to their mother who's better. "Malikai... H-he's my brother..." Scul's eyes grew distant as he washed back to the real world from his memory, lying in the tall dry grass.
He stared at the panting wolf backing away. He's my brother. Scul let out a soft whine, flicking his ears back. How am i going to tell him? I can't attack him anymore! Scul was so confused of the events that just happened.

Malikai held a grimace, confused as to why the loner had suddenly gone quite, frozen. Sculikai was merely staring up at him with wide eyes and a blank expression. The assassin growled, backing up off of the loner and taking a good few steps back, holding his ground in case he decided to attack again or challenge him again, he should know better by now.
Wait.
Memories coursed though Malikai's head like an overflowing beaver dam. He knew this wolf, but no, not only knew him, I grew up with him. Malikai stumbled in confusion. It was bright, he was reliving memories, the two of them were play fighting per usual and once again Malikai successfully had Sculikai pinned to the ground. "Ha! I win again!" He would chime, and clamber off his slightly smaller brother. This had been hardly over a year ago. The tribe wolf wasn't that old, even if it seemed like it, he was just approaching one and a half, so would be Sculikai.
The dark-muzzled male blinked, the memory of those peaceful play fights and soft tumbles disheartening quicker than a spooked magpie. He cast his blue gaze toward Sculikai again, recognition showing through his expression. He kept his tail from wagging. "Sculikai... It's you."

The loner's eyes lit up in a pleasant surprise as his golden-amber gaze stared into his brother's blue eyes. "Y-yes... I can't believe we found each other. Your part of the Tribe now, right..?" Sculikai was still stunned by the fact that this wolf was his brother. In all the possibilities we met here. He thought happily. Scul's tail wagged back and forth excitedly. He felt all the hostility and tension float away like a breeze. But as he glanced at his expression and and his tail, they were completely blank and still.
Isn't he happy? We found each other, long lost brothers...

For what felt like ages, Malikai smiled. His tail lifted skyward followed by a light wag. "I thought you had died... or something." He chuckled, letting the ruffled fur along his spine fall flat and his ears perk forward.
"Sorry about, you know, my defensiveness, this land is all I have." He glanced over his shoulder, then back to Sculikai. How had I not noticed it was him? He thought, inspecting the loner again. He didn't even remember how they got separated... perhaps that would come back to him later on. "Yes, I'm apart of the tribe, living with Titan, the dominate, the others, it was my only chance at survival. Pack life just didn't suit me." The brute answered his brothers question from before after trailing off a bit within his own thoughts.

As the tribe wolf's tail raised, Sculikai laughed bounding forward to give him a light nudge. "I'm so happy we found each other!" He exclaimed his tail up. I should join him in the Tribe! He thought. But what about Scarlet... He paused at the thought but quickly lightened up again. I'm sure she'll understand... right? Yea, she will. Sculikai glanced once more at the dark wolf. "Do you think Titan will let another wolf into his Tribe?" he asked curiosity pricking at his ears.

Malikai nodded, trying his best to contain his excitement, What if one of my tribe-mates are nearby... Yet, he smiled, tail still wagging. "Me too." He agreed, offering his brother a small nod and a cheeky grin.
After his next question, it left him to think. Titan wasn't always keen on outsiders, but with their upcoming plans... They would need all the help they could get. The dark-muzzled male trotted up beside Sculikai, giving him a friendly nudge on the shoulder. "I'm sure he would, with us, you'd gain more muscle! Grow stronger!" He chuckled, the mood lightening.

Sculikai's interest boosted even more as he mentioned growing stronger, that was what he strived to hear. "Maybe I can go back to your camp with you, and we can introduce him to the idea. I strive to grow stronger, and I can be a good addition to your Tribe. " He replied, his excitement rising every second.

Malikai began to nod, "we don't have a camp, we just kinda set site in some clearing, we move around a lot." He chuckled, "but really, you would be a wonderful addition anyway, having you by my side... we'd be unstoppable." A certain rush of excitement flew up the assassin's spine, his brother would be with him once more. They'd grow stronger together, fight the packs together... The brute began to smirk.
