Malikai lead his brother north and away from the outskirts of Upland Meadows, into the heart of their territory. Malikai expected Titan to be somewhere in the clearing where they were staying, certainly he hadn't gone out on a patrol yet. The pair moved onward, the air was dry, but not warm, a cold dry, what it often felt like in their barren territory. It was windy too, making the trek north a lot more tiring. Malikai growled, thankfully they would be there soon.
The two brothers came over a rise in the land, which looked over a little clearing and blocked out most of the wind and other weather. "We're here." He informed Sculikai, his voice low as he then leapt over the rise and descended into the little clearing. Boulders jutted out of the ground here and there and little clumps of dried bushes surrounded the edges of the clearing. |

Sculikai followed his brother up the slopes and around jagged rocks. As Malikai murmured some information, the black wolf held his head high and rose his tail a bit. He didn't want to disappoint the leader of his brother's tribe he was soon to be in.... hopefully. The cold breeze swept his through his fur as he stopped beside the dark-muzzled male, waiting for the wolf known as Titan to show up.

With his head rested on his paws, Titan let out a soft huff as he laid alone near the edge of the clearing, watching as the tribe started to become alive like a hive of bees. With Leafbare slowly but surely fading away, they were finally able to hunt some decent prey and had enough to spare to put on the pack borders, along with scent markers. The male couldn't help but wonder what the pack wolves thought of their gifts and a small smile grew on his muzzle, well, until a strange scent wafted up his nose.
Standing up with perked ears and fur bristling, Titan caught sight of Malikai, one of his most trusted wolves, accompanied by what was most likely a loner. Letting out a low bellow, the ripped and tall male trotted over to the two wolves, his harsh gaze meeting Malikai's. He'd better have a good reason for bringing this stranger into their territory.
"Who's this?" the dominant growled, his light amber eyes glimmering with power as he towered over the two wolves.

Malikai stopped, keeping a cool gaze on the angry, approaching Titan. A reaction the assassin expected, the dominate never liked strange wolves on his land, Malikai knew that, but once everything was explained, he was sure Titan would make sense of it all and begin to understand.
"Titan," the dark-muzzled male dipped his head in greeting once the larger male grew nearer. He lifted his head, casting a glance back at Sculikai, who looked rather stiff. "This here is Sculikai, my brother." He informed the brute male looming before him, lifting his faded blue gaze to the dominates strong amber one. "He is of no threat, he only wishes to join me, and every other wolf among the tribe." He finished, not daring to break the gaze. He knew Sculikai wouldn't be fully accepted util he had proven himself worthy, but Malikai also knew that he would have the perfect chance to prove his worth with their next plan against the packs. They needed all the extra strength they could get.

The male stiffened flexing his claws, crunching them into the soil beneath them only to retract them again once more. He felt tension crack like lightning between the four wolves. Sculikai could tell by the glint in the tribe leader's eyes that the huge male wasn't fooling around. But the loner held his gaze, wanting to show what he was worth. I wasn't planning on being a loner forever.

Casting a glance from Malikai and then to his so called brother, Titan observed the stranger. He could definitely be of use to the tribe, but Titan wasn't going to say yes to him staying quite that easily.
It wasn't that he didn't trust the Assassin in bringing a wolf whom he called his brother here, but accepting older wolves into the tribe was much different than cubs. On one paw, cubs could be easily trained, not having much past knowledge on life. On the other paw, older, more experienced wolves, especially when not born with Tribe blood in their veins, were more... stubborn, especially when they didn't know the ways of Tribe life, but seeing that Malikai was conversing with his Lone brother (something in which he'd have to talk to the Assassin about), Titan couldn't help but wonder if this Skulikai character knew anything about the Tribe, but even so, he wasn't going to simply welcome him with open paws.
"Malikai, you know how I feel about taking in outsiders, even if they're family," the older wolf growled, looking from Skulikai to his brother. Besides, who knew where wolves really came from these days, seeing that some of the Pack wolves were polluting Loners with their kin. "If I accepted every wolf who said they weren't a threat, only the Fear-Wolves know where we'd be now," the larger male warned, his defensive gaze boring into the Assassin's eyes. Would Malikai really contradict the Dominant's wishes? Surely he was smarter than that, or at least had another plan to convince him to let his brother stay.

Malikai offered the larger brute a harsh glare, without saying anything. "Right then," he spat out, not exactly wanting it to come to this, but he knew Titan would never back down from an activity such as this. "So since you obviously don't trust Sculikai... how about a spar? Hm? I know you love a good fight Titan." He paused, looking over to his brother.
"Go on, challenge him. If you win and prove you aren't a piece of weak loner scrap he's bound to trust that you could defend yourself among a group as violent as the tribe." He finally finished, trusting that Sculikai wasn't pathetic.

Sculikai's eyes widened at the thought of sparring with the huge wolf. He couldn't let his brother down, Sculikai's determination pounded through his veins as a forest fire through trees. The loner's lip raised to reveal his pink gums and pearl-white teeth. "If it means I have to fight you to earn my place in the tribe, then so be it. It'll just add more scars to my pelt and make me stronger." He hissed before lunging forward slamming his front paw onto the Tribe leader's head hard.
Sculikai used Front Paw Blow dealing 7 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Alright, a battle it is then.
Crouching down to a defensive stance, Titan let his opponent take a hit at his head and upon the force, he took a step back. Giving his pelt a shake, he looked up to Malikai and then to his brother, a crazy gleam in his eyes. "I'm glad to see that you at least have some confidence in this," the dominant growled with a vile grin on his muzzle. Of course he'd have to go easy on his challenger, but that didn't mean that he wasn't going to have a good time. Besides, it wasn't everyday that he got the chance to battle some wolf, well, unless he was teaching them a lesson, but in this case, Skulikai was acting of his own free will.
Flexing his claws and tensing his muscles, he met the younger wolf's eyes and before he could react, he lept forward and smashed a paw onto Skulikai's muzzle and jumped back. Circling his oppressor, Titan let out a short howl, not letting his eyes waver from his opponent. He better be able to stand his ground, or his hopes of becoming a Tribe wolf were going to be easily crushed.
Titan used Front Paw Swipe, causing 15 damage and costing 10 stamina.

OOC: Since we don't have rouge battle moves yet, we'll just use the regular pack battle moves, but I'm gad that this reminded me to add them lD Also, since it's going to be really easy to take down Skulikai and this isn't a "real" battle, I won't fully K.O. him and will probs end the battle in my next move, just thought I'd let ya know. (no need to reply to this btw)

Sculikai's muzzle throbbed but he shook it off. "Some?" He let out a bellowing laugh. "I think you should check again, because i don't know many loners as weak as me, trying to fight the Tribe Alpha." He wasn't going to let this wolf believe he was weak. The loner's rage bubbled inside his blood as he heard Titan say he just had some confidence. A howl erupted from his jaws as he leaped behind the huge wolf and grabbed hold of his tail. Sculikai ripped his head to the side yanking Titan's big tail along with him. Just because i'm a loner doesn't mean i don't have the confidence to beat you! He growled in his mind.
Sculikai used Tail Yank, dealing 2 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Letting out a snicker, the large wolf was about to give a snide reply, but being caught up in his pride and cockiness, didn't notice his opponent getting significantly close to his tail. Before he was able to say anything, a stinging pain shot through his backside and the dominant let out a yowl of pain and snapped around to see Skulikai chomping down on his tail. Although he had to admit that it was a sly move, no one got the best of him like that!
"Good move," he huffed, a crazed smile still on his muzzle. He was rarely one to compliment, but it was the truth and he might as well. Yanking his tail away from the younger wolf, it hurt like crazy, but he wasn't going to show it. Besides, the number one rule was 'show no weakness, ever,' and being the Tribe dominant, he couldn't ever show any weakness, or else they'd all turn on him like a starving pack of coyotes.
Titan is stunned. Will be able to fight in next turn.

Sculikai's eyes lit up in praise as his tail rose a little higher. It seemed like this wolf was starting to accept him more then a few moments earlier. He casted a glance sideways to see his brother cheering him on. He cracked a sly smile before deciding what move to pull on the bigger wolf next. Sculikai backed up while the wolf was still stunned before running full-force into Titan. His head rammed into his flank hard.
Sculikai used ramming hit, dealing 8 damage and costing 15 stamina.

Letting Skulikai ram him in the flank, Titan let out a wince at the quick shot of pain. That would definitely leave a bruise.
Standing up, Titan gave his pelt a shake and turned to face the younger wolf, but instead of resuming his defensive stance, the dominant stood up a straight as if nothing had phased him. Turning his gaze to Malikai, he then turned back to Skulikai. The lone wolf had definitely put up a good fight and he had no choice but to give him what he was promised.
"Skulikai, although much training is needed, you put up a decent fight, for a loner," the larger wolf started, looking down to his opponent with no expression but a fierce sense of power in his eyes. "Although I do not usually take in strays, you put up a sufficient fight, and so I have no choice but to let you into the pack, but don't think that you are a full member just yet," he warned. "Let's head back to camp and we'll talk over details on the way."
With that, the tall, lean yet muscular wolf turned around and started head back to the Tribe, not waiting for them to catch up and knowing that they would do so. If Skulikai was willing to put his life at risk in fighting the dominant, then he must have been pretty serious about join his brother and the pack, and Titan wasn't going to question it, for now. Besides, if Skulikai ever made a move against the rouge group of wolves, the younger male would be permanently removed before he could even turn to run for the hills.

Sculikai had done it! Excitement had coursed through him, but he couldn't let it show. He stood tall and padded beside Malikai to catch up to the big male.
