It was late afternoon and the darkening sky hadn't yet cooled the valley. Avikii stood outside his den, relaxing in the days warmer air, even though it was still what the pack considered winter, it had been warm that day. Then, the alpha got to his paws, taking in the amount of wolves, he smiled slightly, happy to see the pack at peace. He left those thoughts behind, for there were more important things to prepare for. He turned, jumping atop the den he had just stood beside, and faced his pack, lifted his head to the sky, and let out a low howl.
Today, two young pups would receive the rank of subordinate. He stopped the howl, and looked down over his pack. Watching as wolves looked up and began to make their way over to the highstone.

the littlest pup, Delta yawned and got up from were she was laying down " Avikii?" she wined as she walked out of the den to soo him standing on it "AVikii? what are you doing up there?" she asks sitting down and watching him look over the pack.

Avikii just smiled down at Delta, "You'll see." He called lightly before turning his attention back over to the gathered wolves. "Today, two pups have reached the age of subordinate and are due to rank up. Kiaga and Delta, please step forward." He barked.

Delta was surprised to hear that she and Kiaga were getting a rank The small blind pup and trotted in to the den and tackled Kiaga

The black scard yearling growled as something or someone tackled him he sniffed the air "Delta what do you want!" He barked at her as he got up sacking off the dirt were he was laying "come on come on!!Avikii has something for the both of us" she yiped as she bounced out of the den. Kiaga walked out of the den to see Wolves of all age gathered by there the alphas den. He sat down looking at Avikii expectantly wondering what is happening

"Kiaga, Delta, you two have reached the age of subordinate." He began to speak once he saw that he had the two pups attention. "Therefore, you will be gaining your first rank. So until you gain your official rank, the two of you will be known as subordinates."
