An Ongoing Meeting ((Closed))

Kuno sat in the back of the smaller den, pinning his ears. "Alright! I hear you!" He grumbled, not exactly wanting to be stuck in this den. Maybe if he listened to the pretty ash-grey healer he could get out of the den quicker and return to what he loved to do. The sandy colored male laid down now, "you do what you gotta do then..." he said in a softer tone, realizing his words from before had sounded a bit harsh.

Laying down, he flicked an ear toward her words. "already comfortable." He looked up at her as she asked how he got his injury. "I was out on a patrol with some others, the same patrol that got attacked by the cougar and killed Ice, I'm sure you heard of it." He paused, the male didn't know Ice too well, but it still hurt a bit to remember the image of the pale wolf's crumpled body. He shook himself back to reality. "I was trying to get away and rolled my paw pretty bad after tripping, probably over a root or rock or something, I can't recall exactly." He stopped again, looking up at Elpis.

Kuno looked at the leaf with a questionable expression. "I just eat it?" He asked, poking at it with his nose before giving it a lick, screwing up his face at the earthy taste of it. It wasn't normal for wolves to eat plants, he thought before finally working up the courage to swallow the leaf.

Kuno looked up at her, a crooked smile spread over his muzzle as he tried to push down the wretched taste still clinging to his tongue. He actually found himself enjoying the healers company, surprisingly enough. Maybe he would volunteer sometime to help her collect herbs.
