March Gathering 2017

Soba followed slightly behind the other side of 302, he knew the male well enough and he happened to be his trainer when Soba was still a subordinate. For that, he would always look up to the black furred male no matter what trouble he got himself into with the she-wolves.

Kuno and Hoja walked side by side, sharing a quiet conversation.

"What do you think that cloudy moon means?" The younger she-wolf asked the tan male, this was one of her first few gatherings, it was still weird to be going somewhere with so many wolves.

"I'm not sure." The sandy male answered, walking carefully on his fore paw, thankfully he was healed enough to convince Elpis he could go to the gathering if he was careful.

Hoja just nodded, "I hope it is not something bad."

"Me too," Kuno replied

Shade walked behing Soba with Ash, the Gatherings won't feel the same, without Ice, anyways, he wasn't there to be grumpy while Axolotl was around.
Shade remembered Ice face, and his scent, she sighed, in sadness, she couldn't forget his death, but many moons had passed and now she had pups and a mate, she saw Ash, he was a bit tired, of course, he had check the borders all the day.

Shade nuzzled Ash and said ''I know it's hard, Ash, but you need to understand death comes'' Ash sighed and pressed against her, Ash responded with his low voice ''I know, Ice acted like a brother, it's hard to forget his death'' Shade nodded and started to look around for Axolotl, Shade thought it would be good to stay with her beloved mate.

Ash, walked alongside Shade, with his head low as his ears, Ash was a bit tired because checking on the borders all day, he flicked a ear at Shade spoke, he sighed and responded at her ''I know, Ice acted like a brother, it's hard to forget his death'' he saw how Shade nodded, he kept walking despite Shade wanting to go with Axolotl, he will be fine being a bit alone.

((OOC:Sad that Dark isn't a Novice yet....))

Ryka gulped as she listened to Avikii, should she tell him? He was a fellow alpha now. She watched as a few canyon wolves followed in last, there may be more to come. "Crescent isn't with us anymore." she finally said, speaking up again before he could. "She is presumed dead so I have taken her place, since I'm the beta, and I have not yet decided on a beta of my own..." She stopped now wondering if she sounded formal enough to be seen as an alpha, she was probably over thinking this.

Jetta looked at Takoni, smiling, "I hope not badly..." she sighed, looking at the two alphas. "She may be informing Avikii now."

Avikii stayed quiet for a few heartbeats before nodding, then without speaking he turned to face the murmuring wolves below, it was time to start the gathering. With a swift step forward, he began. "Canyon Pack has been doing wonderful in the growing spring weather, prey is showing up more along with the warming weather. A few pups have been adopted into the pack, along with a few that were born." He paused, deciding not to share the names, or the reoccurring strange scent marks that sent the last gathering into havoc. With a dip of his head he then turned to Ryka, beckoning her lightly to step forward and take her turn.

302 and Hediki listened quietly, side by side, neither speaking a word as their alpha shared the pack's news.

Takoni glanced over at a pale tan Canyon Pack she-wolf that had approached them, he prayed to the sky-wolves that she didn't happen to hear anything he and Jetta were talking about. "Oh, hello..." He paused, realizing he didn't know the female's name. "You are?" He asked with a smile before glancing over at Jetta.

Well, at least they weren't totally hostile.

"I'm Lily," the she-wolf replied softly, trying to keep her tail from wagging with slight excitement. The fact that she was talking with other pack wolves had her a little nervous, seeing that she had no idea what to talk about, and luckily for her, Avikii started to speak before an awkward silence was able to settle between the trio of wolves. Sitting down just far away enough so that she wasn't too close to the Bison wolves, the tan Official Ranked wolf looked up to her leader, curious as to why he didn't mention the strange sightings of half eaten prey still being littered on their territory. Was he now confident that it wasn't Bison Pack's doing?

Soba listened intently to his alpha's words, smiling a bit at how successful they sounded. Then once Ryka started to talk, her news took him off guard. He suspected Crescent had only been sick, but gone? Really? There goes another bison alpha... He kept himself from jumping up in surprise, the fur along his neck standing up at the thought of another lost alpha. He glanced over at 302, who so far had no reaction.

Kuno and Hoja both gasped quietly in surprise, then glanced at eachother before speaking.

"Do you think some wolf is targeting bison pack?" He asked Hoja

"I would like to doubt that, but with Storm gone as well, and seeing him with the tribe, it could be possible, even tho I would like to think otherwise." Hoja replied to Kuno in a quiet tone, a little worried. What if canyon was next?

Kuno shook his head, not responding and listening to whispers rise around them.

Titan and the Tribe raced towards the Old Oxbow where the packs held their annual Full Moon Gathering, their blood pumping and fangs ready to chomp down on some soft, pack wolf flesh. This would be the second time that the rogues had interrupted a gathering, but this time, they weren't going to lose. Titan and his tribe-mates knew exactly what they came here for and had been rigorously training for it, and no matter what Avikii and the Bison wolf's answers were, a fight was going to go down.

Seeing that the Old Oxbow was all open space, he'd warned the tribe to slow down when they got close enough so that they could stalk forward, and so far, everything was going good. No one made a sound as they crept towards the packs, and luckily they were downwind so their scent being discovered was very unlikely.

After a few moments of creeping forward in the darkness with only the dimly lit moon casting a sliver of light on them, the dominant let out a howl from deep in his throat, signaling the Tribe to prepare for action.

Running the last few foxlengths towards the gathering, Titan skidded to a halt when he reached the leaders who stood on a small hill. Flexing his muscles, the tall, stood before the two leaders with his head held high and a slight grin on his muzzle. Great Fear-Wolves, confronting the packs was always so exhilarating!

"Avikii!" he barked, not letting the smirk leave his face as he locked gazes with the other male. His Tribe were already getting settled in, snapping their jaws at the pack wolf's legs and ears, throwing taunts and snide remarks, and being as viscous as usual. He'd definitely taught them well.

"Wonderful weather for a gathering," the dominant added somewhat playfully, shifting his gaze over to the she-wolf that stood next to the Canyon Pack leader. She must've been who took over when Storm left. So fragile and weak. What a shame.

Baring his teeth, Comet stood near the front of the crowd, his tail lifted and fur bristling. Letting out a couple bark like yelps, he scanned his eyes around the clearing. It seemed as though the tribe had definitely grown in numbers, or maybe just the size of their wolves had grown, but even so, the Bison male was still outraged. How dare the rogues intrude another gathering again. Although the ruthless tribe leader was his brother, Comet wanted nothing to do with his doings. Well, one thing was for sure, he wouldn't show his kin any mercy if a fight broke out.

Standing among the crowd of mingled wolves and surprised by the sudden appearance of the rogues, Lily's pelt stood on end and her legs started to shake. Her father was here, again, and she prayed to the Sky-Wolves that he wasn't here for her. It had already been embarrassing enough to have him confront the packs just to get her back and hopefully he'd learned his lesson. But even so, he father was no fool, and so what ever the dominant was here for, it definitely wasn't going to end on a good note.

OOC: alright folks, let's get this party started. No one will battle until Titan gives the call, and remember... even though the rogues are smaller in numbers, etc, they HAVE to win this battle (so pack members, this means that maybe not all of your wolves join the battle).

Note: the battle move chart has been updated. Slight changes have been made, and rogues now have their own moves! (there are still some things that need to be tweaked, so if anyone comes up with any good edits, ideas for current/more moves, or questions, please pm me about it)

Since this is one of our first big/mass battles, remember…
-No double teaming unless their is no one else to battle

Shade growled as Titan apdded to the Gathering Who dare he to come and interrupt us?! The black she-wolf glanced at another she, it was like Titan is she Titan's new pup?, the Warrior snarled as she saw how the other she, it seemed to be trained by Titan himself, Shade tensed her msucles and grow larger than she was.

Dark, grinned and saw a black scarred she-wolf, then padded alongside Zara and his father then said ''This will be so fun! Hey Tiatn, Zara, what about taking down this flea-bags?''

Avikii listened closely to Ryka speak, sharing the news of Crescent with the packs. He was about to speak up again when he heard a soft rumbling in the distance, getting slowly louder, but it definitely wasn't deafening, just instead a steady growl against the earth. Before he realized where the sound was coming from, mange-ridden pelts burst through the gathered pack wolves, Titan at it's head...

The Canyon Pack alpha straightened up immediately, quickly noticing the stupidly smug expression crossing the dominates face, an expression that Avikii desperately wanted to claw off. He stood still, his tail raised in the hair, daring Titan to make a move. Avikii was surprised when he called out for him, his own name rung in his ears, glancing to Ryka as he tried to process what was going on. Why did he yell only for me... Ryka's here too... Avikii thought, then realized Titan must not recognize her.

Before he could let his questions consume him, he took a pace forward and nodded ever so slightly, almost unnoticeable. "Sure is." He toyed back to the tick-pelted rogue without a second thought, knowing they were here for more than just a chat.

Malikai thundered into the Old Oxbow behind Titan, tongue rolling out the side of his mouth as he came to a halt, listening into the two leader's conversation, grimacing, his navy eyes scanning the surprised expressions around him. He snapped his jaws at a onlooker.
