It had been an embarrassing defeat at the Oxbow last gathering, both packs were in shock, shaking from their ears to the tip of their tails in fear of what the tribe wolves had managed to do... strip them of their dignity. The two packs, Canyon and Bison, had been hiding in fear, specifically Canyon Pack, since the rogue tribe was much closer to their territory than Bison Pack's. Canyon wolves were on edge, marking borders more frequently in hopes of preventing a sudden rogue attack.
Well, Avikii, the Canyon Pack alpha was tired of cowering in his own territory, there had to be a stop to this, and he was going to make sure to find one. The graying alpha had scheduled a meeting with the Bison Pack alpha, Ryka, to discuss some kind of plan to get rid of the rogues. He was on his way toward the Old Oxbow now to meet her, and hopefully come up with a solution.
The alpha male came to a stop at the edge of the slim figure of crescent shaped water, a figure coming into view in the distance...

Ryka stood at the waters edge, in the center of the oxbow, waiting for Avikii to arrive. He had sent a scout to her pack and was informed he wanted to meet and talk about recent matters with the rogues. She didn't know exactly what, but she could only guess. She then heard paw steps approaching, and looked behind her to see the figure of Avikii in the distance, she waited for him to come closer.

Avikii stepped into the shallow, still water, crossing to the other bank to meet Ryka in the center of the Old Oxbow. When he realized she noticed him, he gave a slight nod of his head in greeting. It was still early morning, but the summers heat would soon follow the rising sun, he made a mental note to leave before it got too hot.
The older alpha sat down slowly beside the younger, eyeing her. "I assume you can guess why I asked to meet?" He questioned, making sure she knew why she was here, away from her pack.

She sat down on his otherside, begining to nod. "Yes, about the recent events revolving around our neighboring rogue tribe?" She informed with a hint of question to make sure what she knew was true.

Avikii nodded, casting a frosty gaze downward at his gray streaked paws, huffing quietly. "Mhm," he paused, leading his cool gaze away from the ground to meet Ryka's. "We need to figure out how to send them on their way, either back to their wasteland prairie or gone completely. We can't have them so close, it's not safe." He took a breath, allowing the other alpha to speak, to add her opinion.

She nodded in agreement, "even though the tribe is closer to your pack, my wolves still feel the same uneasiness, for what if they decide they want more land and come and attack us? We can't have it. She held the older male's gaze, then wondering how old he really was, how long he had been alpha. Avikii had been here much longer than her... She shook her head, clearing her straying thoughts, then spoke again. "I'm guessing you have somewhat of a plan?"

Avikii stayed quiet, listening to her, noting how she paused in thought. "Yes, at least I think... hope it's an okay plan, one that would work, but we'll need an awful lot of luck." He glanced up at her, his gaze revealing nothing else, at least not yet. He had years of wisdom growing on him, and more to come. This wouldn't be the first time he had been in such a sticky situation... He eyed her again, "You up for something risky?" He asked, needing her consent. As much as he hated to admit, he needed help from Bison Pack to get rid of the pesky tribe.

Ryka paused for a moment, thinking. Was she up for something risky? What does that mean? Will it put her pack in danger? It couldn't... the rogues were further from her pack than Avikii's. She looked up at him, his eyes revealing nothing. She cursed under her breath. They needed to get rid of these wolves, they were bad, the pups were often times to scared to leave the nursery. Not moving her gaze from his, she nodded, "Yes, what's your plan alpha?"

Avikii grinned, that old grin of his that used to make she-wolves swoon. Now it was crooked, in a way that could now send younger wolves running for the canyon.
"Good," he gave a small nod of agreement, and maybe slight relief that she agreed to a slightly risky plan. It told him that she too knew how vital it was to get rid of the rogues. Avikii cast a quick glance back and forth, taking in his surroundings and making sure there were no extra ears listening in on his conversation. After making sure the area was clear, he leaned closer and started talking in a low voice.
"Alright so, have you ever thought about how there might be some rebellious rogues? Few that may disagree with Titan's harsh ways?" He asked his fellow alpha, a hint of hope reflecting in his dimly lit eyes.

Ryka blinked, that thought had never crossed her mind. Rogue rogues? How unheard of, but Avikii did have a point... Titan was terribly harsh, he has been bound to have scared off a few young recruits, wolves that couldn't handle his ways of training. She suddenly felt bad for some of the cubs that had to grow up there. "No, but I have now." She finally spoke.

"Good," Avikii nodded, then continued speaking in a hushed voice. "If we find a rogue that disagrees with Titan, we can possibly attack them from the inside..." He paused, rethinking, backtracking on his plan. "The rebel tribe wolf could gather supports from the inside, and we could flush them out that way." He insisted, hoping what he said made sense.

"Because, I've seen it myself..." He answered her confidently. "The night the fight broke out here," he gestured with a paw toward the land. "I noticed a younger wolf, not prepared to fight, not wanting to fight. They were hesitant." He finished up, "if we can find that wolf, we've found the beginning of our plan."

Ryka then understood. There was already a wolf that could possibly be on their side, removing Titan from Aspen Heights, all they had to do was find this wolf, and hope they don't try and get away...

Avikii eyed her for a moment, it seemed she understood. "I haven't thought any more ahead, but here's what I need from you." He paused, "If you notice this wolf, I think... I think they had a grey coat, but when you see them, get some of your pack members to ambush them and take them prisoner but don't harm them. I will inform my pack about this as well." He nodded, "Send a scout if you have them, I'll do the same."
